Wifi Tether - G2 and Desire Z General

I know it has one that comes on it already, but I would like one that tracks data / clients, and Barnacle doesn't seem to be working for me (works fine on my G1)

Market's not working?

I can't update any of my apps, on wifi or on the data network. Is there a quick fix for this or is the market having a little hiccup?

guessing its a market glitch. i went to update beautiful widgets and google maps a few minutes ago and no luck. internets are working fine.
It's always nice knowing it's not just me. I'm hooked into my school's wifi and I thought maybe they we're preventing me from using the market. They're very stingy with they're sub 3Mbps.

Tether wifi-signal to PC via USB?

4g is wonky inmy house (especially with irene cockblocking the signals and roamcontrol seems to have a 120kbps cap when roaming on verizon3g so tethering that way is useless
I would like to know if its possible to connect myphone to wifi and then tether that service to my pc using a usb cable?

I tried this once when my laptop was just out of range of the router, and it does work. I haven't tested the native tethering with wifi, but wired tether 1.4 did the trick (I believe three native app should work as well, since both should activate the same function)

I wonder how fast the wifi would need to be for this to work, because my home wifi is pretty poor! Do you reckon it could possibly work with wifi tethering from my s3?

It uses wifi direct. It doesn't connect to your house's network. The dongle and the phone get connected via wifi and voila, you're on TV.

WiFi Tethering From Galaxy S3

Have had enough of Bluetooth tethering so have decided to tether from my phone and the connection is much better, although the wireless tether app on my S3 doesn't work too good whereas the tethering hotspot appears to work fine with WiFi manager on my Nexus 7, im wondering what apps people are using for tethering, etc?
Used to swear by Barnacle but it's now useless and doesn't work at all.
Running Liquid Smooth ROM on both Tablet and Phone

I couldnt get foxfi or barnacle tether to work, i just used the portable hotspot in the stock samsung firmware and it worked fine for the exact same thing.
Im currently connected to Wi-Fi from my Evo 4G LTE using Fox-Fi.
Is weird how I can barely load pages on my 3G connection using my phone but have no problems connecting to pages through tether on my Nexus.

CleanRom 5.0 on sgs3....built in WiFi tether. It gets bypassed thanks to the ROM. Works great.

For Blutooth tether this is what i use.
Sprint GS3:
foxfi
N7
PDAnet for tablets
Setup bt tether on foxi then use PDAnet. So far this works for me on browsing sites. Some apps will fail though since they actually check the wifi status of the tablet. Since you will be using bt for internet connection, it will fail. I hope this helps.
