What you need
A Rooted Droid, (i used my A855 with CM7, not sure if others will work)
Launcher Pro Plus (Regular Launcher Pro may work)
Also, there is no framework change, this is just a launcher theme and boot animation
Download The themepack and extract to the Root of your SD card
http://www.multiupload.com/SW5EGWV6VZ
The folder is self-explanatory
Wallpapers can be set from the Home Screen
Dock and Launcher
Go into Launcher Pro's settings via Prefrences button in the home screen
Select Appearance Settings
Select Dock Background
Use custom background
Go into gallery and find atrixdock.png
Go back and Restart LauncherPro
Now you should see the Dock
Because LauncherPro uses 4 Icon Docks we will have to use the following setup
{Phone}{Phone}{Drawer}{Contacts}{Contacts}
So, hold down each icon and set those apps
The icons will look a bit cluttered.
Hold down each icon and set the icon that can be found in the Theme_Atrix folder (the blank icon)
All you should see is the dock.
The dock is set
Boot Animation
Go and get SuperManager from the Market
Go into Settings and "Enable Root Function"
Open the File Explorer
Go up Back up level folder until the titlebar says "/"
Go into system
Choose R/W!!
Go into media
Press and hold bootanimation.zip and choose Delete
Confirm and "Back up level folder" to "/"
Open the Link, "sdcard"
Find the "Theme_Atrix" folder
Hold down and copy "bootanimation.zip"
Paste into /system/media/
Reboot.
If something didnt work, email me([email protected]).
i'm always here and i usually reply within 3 hours
Good Luck!
The dock and blank icon included in Theme_Atrix.zip were made by Tyler Watthanaphand. You are free to Redistribute and Modify.

it works for me thank you

will it work on my milestone running the 2.2 25/2/2011 leack?

same question. does it work for milestone?

It would work as dont see any framework change. Its all based on images being applied thru launcher pro... and a change of the bootanimation.

Is this just a theme for LauncherPro?
Definitely does not look like GingerBlur from the screen shot.
Is it more than Gingerbread with a Blur LP dock?
Thank you

As far as I can tell, this is supposed to be a theme based on the stock Atrix theme. If that's the case, then it shouldn't look anything like gingerblur as that's simply a different rom/theme for the atrix.
Since it is based off the Atrix stock theme, it shouldn't have gingerbread elements as the Atrix only comes with 2.2 for now.

The Dock can be used for GSM Milestone.Right?

Works for me as well, love it.

Works for me too.. thx

I downloaded this yesterday and I revisited the thread just to say thanks, it looks really good and I love how the boot animation says 'dual core' then my phone goes all laggy because of its underpowered processor I hope you make mroe themes like this

[Q] MIUI icon background

Launchers of like Touchwiz, iPhone, MIUI and DELL android tablet use those squared backgrounds for the icons on their home screen.
I've searched XDA for a themer/dev who has done this but no luck.
People seem to rather remove the iPhone's icon style but I think it looks nice.
Now I want to achieve this effect on a Sense or non-Sense based ROM without photo shopping every icon.
So is there a way to mod a Standalone Launcher like LauncherPro or ADW to have this icon style?
I'd love to help if any dev wants to give this a shot.
Thanks.
I know there are roms with those iphone-style backgrounds... here is one http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=688687
*note this rom is only compatible with the eris* *it has been ported to other htc phones though*
Also the mytouch slide has bubbles behind each icon,
Also if you install touchwiz3.0 launcher (ripped from a galaxy s phone) it puts a random coloured sqaure behind each icon, im sure you can edit those square to have what you want
Edit: Those bubbles are what is featured above
Thanks for the replies, the thing is I want this effect on the HTC Desire which I have installed a Sense ROM (Froyo) on.
I would rather not which to another ROM just to have squared backgrounds.
This is why a Launcher would be the perfect solution.
I think the touchwiz3.0 launcher wouldn't work on my ROM but I'll try!
EDIT: I tried the touchwiz and it works! But the "bubbles" only show in the app drawer.
Here's a *.png of a square I made.

download bettercut from the market, then download an iphone icon set from market and apply icons to whatever you want through bettercut.

That would leave me making icons for apps who don't have an iPhone icon.
I'm not looking for that kind of solution.
I want it to have a square behind every icon automatically so to speak.
The DELL tablet ROM and the MIUI ROM does exactly what I want but.
I looked to port it over but that wouldn't work as the whole thing is different.
I've been searching for the same thing, with no luck. The Touchwiz launcher only puts the icon backgrounds on the dock, like you said, and I can't find the modified launcher that the MyTouch 4G uses to put on my EVO.
I'm currently running MIUI, which is awesome, except my battery life is pretty terrible compared with the stock (or modified stock) Sense ROM.
I guess I'll keep searching, and if anyone has any more suggestions, please post them here.
ADWLauncher EX can do this. It's not free though. I am sure it is possible to code it into any Launcher, but how you do that is beyond my capabilities.

Cool. Thanks!
Awesome! Just bought it, now I'm downloading the latest EViO ROM and dumping MIUI- the random restarts (although seldom), the wifi drops, and the terrible battery life unfortunately outweigh the really nice UI.

Great work do you fancy doing this to a keypad key board ?
Such beautiful keyboards..However integration into Rom package fails..On copying into /system/app of the rom and flashing it leads to force close on boot
What exactly are you trying to do, integrate it as stock keyboard for a rom? Is the rom starburst?
if your looking for a particular colour combo for your rom id be happy to make it. problem is im no dev so i wouldnt know how to help integrate

Hi!
Thanks for your work! Could you also try to make a "Gingerbread style" keyboard? Maybe you can use the same graphics and colors? That would be awesome
Thanks dude!
what exactly do you mean? a themed gingerbread keyboard, or a sense themed keyboard that looks like gingerbread?

How to change launcher icons?

I hate the icons that motoblur uses for the stock apps on the phone (camera, dialer, browser, etc.). I have been searching all over for a solution but cant find anything. I'm using Launcher Pro Plus and want to know how I can change the icons that show up in the app drawer to the stock Froyo icons. Thanks!
you can probably download a theme icon pack for lp+
at least on adw that's what i can do..
Go Launcher let u change it with ease

root your phone, download ninjamorph, load up blur-res.apk, find ic_launcher_(app you want to replace).png from an AOSP rom and use it to replace the one in blur-res.apk in ninjamorph. finish project. done.

it's real simple. find some icons you like and place them on your sdcard. On your homescreen (if you are using Launcher Pro), long press a blank area, and choose "Shortcuts". then, at the top of that screen, choose "Applications". Once you find your application (say Maps), then click the old icon above the app name and you can browser your gallery app for a replacement icon. click the icon you want to use as a replacement then click ok. now you have a different icon for that app on your homescreen. This is the easiest way to do it without editing your framework-res files, etc. NOTE: this only changes the icon on the homescreen, it will still be the original icon in the app drawer. It takes a bit of time to do this, but well worth it IMO.
EDIT: I just re-read your OP, this won't change the icon in the app drawer, only the homescreen... [/facepalm]

[Q] Change the Graphics from the Dock Icons [SOLVED]

Hi at all,
first, sorry for my englisch.
I have a problem.
I have an galaxy s2 i9100 since 4 days. An the dock icons (at the bottom) look like this (it's a screenshot from my phone):
{
"lightbox_close": "Close",
"lightbox_next": "Next",
"lightbox_previous": "Previous",
"lightbox_error": "The requested content cannot be loaded. Please try again later.",
"lightbox_start_slideshow": "Start slideshow",

"lightbox_download": "Download",
"lightbox_share": "Share",
"lightbox_zoom": "Zoom",
"lightbox_new_window": "New window",
"lightbox_toggle_sidebar": "Toggle sidebar"
}
BUT WHY? i mean, for example, on this official screenshot the dock icons are different and much cooler:
or look at this video on youtube:
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VUowqvuG_BQ
i have the official KIES-Firmware: i9100XXKE7 / GINGERBREAD.XWKF3
so please, can somebody tell me why i dont have those nice "new" icons on my phone. are they coming with offical 2.3.4 or what?
im looking forward to your feedback
The video is showing a Test-UI, so actually I think you have the new 'cooler' icons, and the guy in the video doesn't.. It just the way Samsung made it in the end I guess
so that means those icons were "not retail"? that sucks -.-
I wondered the exact same thing when I got mine. The shipped icons are the same as the i9000's Touchwiz 3 set, and considering I upgraded 'from' an i9000 (And hated those icons on that too) it sort of soured the upgrade feeling a tad.
Turns out that, indeed, despite being on all the stock images, that icon set was from pre-release software (There's actually another set of rounded icons from even earlier software, but I haven't been able to find those). The good news is that the pre-release ROMs did leak, and so did the icons. All you need to do is root the phone and use ninjamorph or similar to replace the icons in the Contacts, MMS, and Touchwiz30launcher apks. It's a breeze once you've done it the first time.

thanks for the information. is there maybe alredy somone who did this, with the icons?
Search for the i9000 Touchwiz 4 themes, that's where I found my icons.
Sent from my GT-I9100 using XDA Premium App
ok i found those "new" icons. but i dont realy get it. i installed ninja morpg but he is saying that i dont have installed busy box. phone is rootet.
is there an easy way to change the graphics of the doc-icons?
One thing seems strange to me: on the screenshot, the battery icon does not seem to be the "classical" one (at least not the one I saw with every stock firmware i had - KE1, KE2 and now KE7), since it indicates a counter rather than a simple (and not too informative) "filling-up icon". i read on the market (in the description of one battery application, don't know remember which) that it was not possible, by using markets apps, to replace the basic android battery icon, in the status bar.
Therefore, I imagined that battery icons with embedded counters always came from non-stcok (and rooted) roms.
So, I am wondering: is this battery icon with an embedded counter the standard battery on KF3? Does it come from a market app (I searched *many* market battery apps such like that, with no luck)? Is the said phone rooted with a non-stock rom?
i'm sorry! the battery icon is not the original one. i've replaced it. please ignore this.

ok, i got it. i just downloaded the .apk's (for example: Contacts.apk, Mms.apk, Phone.apk, TouchWiz30Launcher.apk) to my computer and open it with the programm 7-zip (DONT EXTRACT!). than i replaced the png's (just drag and drop the png into the 7-zip window) and copied the apk's back to the system -> app folder with root explorer.
and it works!
as you can see on this screenshot. i replaced the icon for contacts:

[THEME] Go Locker Four Key => Redux2 / Go Launcher Transparency style

Hi all,
Modded the Go Locker Four Key a bit... First time I do this so hopefully you like it and I didn't mess anything up
Background is like the background of the Redux2 notification/multitasking bar (very dark grey), highlight color changed from blue to orange which also goes well with the Go Launcher Transparency Skin for widgets
1) uninstall the Go Locker Four Key if you have it installed
2) install GoLockerRedux.apk
3) Enable "Go Locker Four Key" again
Note: you need to have Go Launcher and Go Locker installed off course.

Awesome! Would it be possible to change the action of the SMS to go to email instead? And the phone go browser? I am on a non-phone device and that would be awesome. Love the theme! Very good work on it.
I'm only a noob at this, so I'm afraid my knowledge doesn't reach that far, sorry
maybe someone else can help out with that...
Ok, thanks. Yours is still the best theme out there. And go locker released changeable wallpapers, so its even better!
nice bro.
thanks
Thanks, I really like this lock screen!
One question though, do you know by any chance how to make it into a 24h clock? I thought that maybe if there was an .xml file it could be modified, but I have no idea where it installs and I'm not sure it would work.
Any idea how to get it to run on a Samsung Galaxy S2? The easy way, uninstall stock Fourkey, copy GoLockerRedux.apk to sd-card, install via clicking, doesn't work. Installer stops without error message but 'Application not installed'.
Needless to say that I like your work. That's why I'm trying to get it installed.
Installed this no problem at all. Nice colour change.

hi,
I'm sorry, no idea what might be wrong... a couple of my colleagues installed it on different devices without any issue... no galaxy s2 though.
Have you disabled the lockscreen before uninstall?

I finally got it to work. Really nice theme, I'm quite happy with it. I just changed the clock's font to a one more fitting to my other screens.

how about using the theme wallpaper as locker background?
I like this theme very much, except it seems to be flashed when I touch the circle. Can you fix it?
nice
thanks
Hi. I'm using a GO Locker Theme called Mango. And I can set a custom wallpaper but when I slide to unlock a lock image appears. So where are the themes files (the path to them) so I can look and try to change it? Because I want my custom wallpaper all along...
