hi at all,
is it possible to add sense to typhoon´s rom?
would all work like before?
i´m asking because i saw in ilmikas gingerbread rom with sense the camera wouldn´t work und video playback event crashes phone.
No not possible
Sense is a framework that requires alot of work to be ported into a rom, it's unlike other launchers which is in apk form and can be installed. So the only way to have a sense rom is to make a sense rom available to your device not make sense available on a rom...
i´ve read that ilmika portedt a rom with sense for hd2 based on gingerbread, but there is a bug that camera doesn´t work.
is it possible to take the kernel from typhoons rom and would this fix the cam issue?

What is the difference between a Cyanogenmod Rom and a normal one though?
How to install HTC sense to Froyo 2.2.1 ?!
Help me please !
Thankssssssss
Not sure I understand entirely...
If you already have an android build that is Stock (ie: non-Sense), you can't just install Sense, it's not an application. It's deeply embedded in the framework of Android itself. If you have a stock build there's not much you can do but switch the whole build over to a Sense version.

Thanks
help you more? he answered the question, the same question that is answered weekly... the same question that is answered in the stickies...
but, incase you still dont understand...
if you are running an asop build, the only way you will get sence running on your phone is to flash a diferent build.
asop vs sence use completely diferent framworks or file structures...
its like vhs vs betamax...
I want to know if it is worth a try? What do you think? I sounds like a good idea

I dont know what Roms you have available for your device but it may be worth adding a section with what Roms (stock or custom) work with Android and what ones arent working correctly. While Android is emulated, there are still some WinMo drivers that affect the operation of your Android port and certain Roms may not work.
It may be worth trying to flash a different Rom and then try Android again.

I currently use:
ROM-Version (Vodafone)Switzerland German: 1.41.166.1, (10904) Radio:0.63.05.41
the next one I will try is:
[ROM][25.06.2011][WWE-ITA-FRA-ELL-GER-RUS-SPA-NLD-DAN] ver 3.10 nsourm -build 29022
ver.5 - RUU_Signed_????no_sense_clean.nbh is without sense and cookies home tab and without extra apps.
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=801481
The nsourm rom is highly recommended and very stable (version 3.1) I also run this base WM6.5 ROM too (without sense and without cookies home tab). It seems to be quite compatible with the Android port as it mostly follows stock rom philosophy.
The other optional cab that has been installed is the stock icons.cab located here as without it, my SPB shell doesn't show all the icons properly. I have no problems with the Android Loader 1.0 dual boot application (set to autoboot after 10 seconds). I'd first flash the stock ROM then this one if wanting to change from another custom ROM.
you tried over nsourm 3.1 and Android works well, but have you tried over your stock ROM? and have you noticed any difference? such as. that something works better, or that something is not working at all?
I have not tried Android with my stock ROM and don't want to go back to stock ROM either as I still need to use WM6.5 from time to time - because there is no Garmin for Android! Stock ROM used to crash often whereas with nsourm 3.1 it is definitely much more stable given it incorporates more recent builds. I would assume that given nsourm is close to stock ROM philosophy (but with much more recent builds) that there would not be much difference to anything that ran in Android. Maybe someone has already tested for the differences.. and can let us know the results!
Hi, 15Ma1l,
I tried four different of HTC Official ROMs for my htc mini, and I can say: There isn't any Difference and all of them were same when booting android. and I knew this idea for months.
but I didn't tried nsourm ROM, because of arabic persian unicode support?
thank you for answers !
iPlasm could you please write a list with these ROMs you already tried?

For T-Mobile (US) HD2. I'm looking for GingerBread (not Froyo) SENSE (2 or 3 or 3.5) ROM which has everything working, including camcorder. No lags, no glitches and fast/smooth. Does it exist ? I tried some of them
My problem is that some 3.5 ROMS are great (Energy, carl1961), but very slow for me. AOSP ROMs (e.g tytung's) are speedy, but not having ability to link accounts together sucks and overall UI is not as nice. ICS ROMs are full of bugs yet.
So I'm looking for GB Sense ROM now. Any ideas ?
i tried every sense rom on this forum..and the only one that work's everything is rcmix3d but not the latest version..for me it's version 4.0.2

No, there is no good GB Sense ROM. Only things that work are CM7 and MIUI.
All Sense ginger roms have camcorder issue.
edit- actually Arkatis 2.1 ginger rom works great.
also dungphps sense 2.1 roms work great as well.
hope that helps
Thanks, will try both of them
Hy, I have the eu version of HD2. I see a lot of roms with sense 3.5
if I never use the camera i Have some other problems? like hotspot,wifi,3G,battery drain?
Actually i use a CM 7.2 dorimanx based rom. There isn't a rom with sense 3.5 that work greatly like this?
They're all laggy
Team Blue Droid ROM is the best!
Team Blackout released a update to their Blackout ROM to version 4.0. It is a sense 3.6 ICS ROM. You can find the ROM here http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1531218.
I've tested the ROM and everything seems to work great except the voice in app. I know this was a problem on other ROMs but I don't know enough to fix it my self.
I'm hoping anyone that sees this knows how this can be fixed or help to fix it. This is a great ROM and runs much faster then any sense 4+ ROMs for our phone.
I'm using the MIUI ROM for the glacier that uses a sense 3.6 ROM as a base and the voice works fine so I know it can be fixed.
TIA for any help with this.
