I could do that.. but id like to hear what the general public says before adventuring into the world of sense roms. I'm running virtuous Rom right now. It's okay. Seems little laggy. Should be faster on the g2 then the evo which i have in front of me as we speak. Id like to say the G2 is much faster than the evo.

I use GingerSense 2.3 but thats just me

Are you using the standard or advanced kernel, and if the latter what are you OC'ing your phone to? I'm using the standard kernel, and my phone doesn't seem laggy at all. There are the occasional moments of slowness, but nothing to the point where I would consider it troublesome to me.

I'm using the advanced kernel, overclocked to 1.0ghz. I like the TeamVillian Sense rom, cant stand the bugy landscape mode..
Does anyone know of a Sense-based ROM which has the Bluetooth A2DP bitpool size problem fixed?

Virtuous ROM 1.0.1 with Standard Kernel @ 1GHz for me. No lag what-so-ever and working great! lovin' it
The best Sense ROM is the one that uninstalls itself and loads CM7 or some AOSP variant

Id wait a few days as now Sense and Gingerbread work together so there are going to be alot of releases based on that.
does anyone know if there is word of a stock update to Gingerbread 2.3 for the Desire Z. and if there are going to be roms made with Sense and Gbread, will they be available in ROM Manager. I am very interested in this GingerSense. where is it available.

HTC said that the Desire family of devices would be getting an official update to v2.3 in June or July.
Is there a fully working rom on this forum? I see tons of roms but I see that many have issues like mms not working..
I'm looking for a rom where all the features work just as the stock 2.2.1 rom...

Team royals 1.6 rom doesn't have mms problems..Well at least not for me anyways but i haven't found any problems with it so far since it first came out...I think its the most stable rom in here...

I have tried Evil and Gorilla's Desire HD Rom's, Ice Glacier, CM 7, Royal Thunderbolt...have never ran into any issues on either of those. Each phone is unique and will not give you the same results. My advice is to decide what you like stock or sense and then try the different roms out and go from there.

I agree CM7 is the bomb, no issues, tried sense again, but just couldn't stay with it back to CM

Once your "rooted" and your no longer running stock there is no such thing of "100% FULLY working"..
But try CM7 nightlies there awesome.
You can give my AOSP 1.0.1 a shot... It is functional... I don't believe it has any visible bugs...
My vote is on Orange sense, such a great Rom haven't found much, if anything at all, wrong with it

Yes it should be in Q&A.
But, with any AOSP Rom you are going to have data slowdown. After a while of the phone being in standby the data will drop to about 1mb downloads. WiFi will cap at about the same.
Once you toggle airplane mode it wakes something up and you will have your usual speed back.
No one has been able to solve this yet, and is the only drawback to aosp.

I been runnin royalginger v1.4.1 for the longest & never had an issue,internet speeds never slowed dwn & wifi was just plain fast,as for 2.2 royalglacier has been the most stable,Team Royal's rom are smooth,fast & stable but again once rooted no rom is 100%,**** no phone is 100%.....
Roylalthunder is a great and fast Rom too and your speeds increase as well

Royal glacier is the most stable build I've ever had on a phone. It's so good that I have a brand new g2x that isn't being used at the moment.

i believe nothing, but I desire a better camera app for one...
i dont know about anybody else but i bought my mytouch 4g because of the ffc and ability to video chat (or i would have stuck with my g2) and i hate the standard ui and battery life sucks with stock rom..

Qik is supposeably working on cm7 now on the latests builds.I can't confirm it because I have not tried it yet. I never liked qik either way.
Yahoo video chat only works on stock mt4g roms. I have not found a rom that it works in yet. I've tried almost all roms.
Tango and oovoo should be working on every rom. I know tango does, its what I use. Oovoo I have not tried. I've heard of others confirming is does though.

Try eVil's 4G-HD ROM. I use tango all the time and I don't see why qik wouldn't work either.

don't know if your sure about that but I used the Thunderbolt and evil 4g HD roms and they both supports FFC. OOvOO works on both i used them with my girlfriend and quality is good to be on mobile. So those two roms are great the only thing is you DO NOT get HTC Hub on the Thunderbolt but your 4g signal is a lot faster.
Running eViLs 4g HD v.03.3 ext4

I'm sure in small print it says screen images simulated and quality may vary depending on network conditions. these people really get everything on the legal side..

Fellow mytouch 4g users,
I am currently on CM 7.2 and experience the following issues:
1. When connected to both Bluetooth and wifi, I intermittently get dropped from wifi.
2. Mute function does not work with wifi calling.
Can anyone suggest a stable ROM that doesn't experience these issues?

Umm, I'm not sure if I would call it stable, i mean, it is still in beta, I think.
For OP, try CM7.1, it seems like the most stable ROM for this device out there (for now anyways). Or try fixing permissions, that always does wonders when I run into bugs
I can't explain it, but I can't seem to like full cm7. I've used a couple roms with cm7 base that are OK. And trust me, I'm not insulting the work, its more of a visual thing. But actually in regards to the stability of creamed glacier, its pretty straight right now. It really depends on what you use your phone for. Although its fixed now, I never cared about the camera issue, bcause I rarely use my camera. But again, it really depends if you are a heavy, mid, to light user, to determine how many bugs you will notice...

If those are your main concerns, i suggest a gingerbread rom, NOT an ics rom. Try RoyalGinger (CM with stock overlay) or you can try an number of sense roms. Most of them have no issues regarding bluetooth and wifi calling. Again, stay away from ics roms if those are your main concerns.

It has a couple of bugs but the fixes are already available. Its really smooth and it has full stock feel if you are into that kind of thing.
Just get mytouch 4g today. seems many ROMs have camera problem. Can someone advice for some ROMs w/ everything works?

Almost any Sense 3.0 and Sense 3.5 ROM will have everything functional.
Currently, no Sense 4 ROM will have camera.
LeeDroid is a Sense 3 ROM that is perfect in my eyes. Virtuous Affinity is good too.

Most of the cam problems are from the ics roms I'm running a miui rom port from wp7 runs just fine all apps working with front cam n every thang

Flashing unity camera will fix the camcorder. At least that's what in says in the OP of the ARHD thread.

I remember I've tried amaze camera and Doubleshot Camera and get FC on video recording (maybe amaze camera zip file ruined camera librarys, don't know). So I tried Virtuous Affinity.
Virtuous Affinity have a section for tweaking notifications which I really like. However its front camera is upside down. So I flashed Doubleshot Camera and this time it worked!

I'm running ice cold sandwich at the moment. Everything works beautifully except camera and occasional fc with stock browser. Fixed camera/camcorder issue by downloading absocamera and browser by switching to opera. Current operation = flawless
