Why is the deductible so expensive? I broke my mytouch screen today and its suppose to cost 130.

I thought if you have insurance, they replace it free of charge without any deductibles or you don't have insurance?
Warranty doesn't include broken screens. For the you still have to pay.

Yeah just make sure you don't confuse insurance with warranty. Warranty covers things like manufacturing defects. Your insurance is what covers your loss or physical damage. The $130 you are paying is your insurance deductible.

It's because they send you a new in box retail mytouch 4g and th 130 is the deductible and to prevent abuse. It sucks agreed but better then $400 or whatever it is w/o a 2yr.

Tpu fusion is the best one I've used. Have 2 of them.

Anytime (in most cases) you have insurance, you have to pay a deductible. If the phone is still under warranty, then tmobile will send you a replacement for free if it's defective.
If you file a claim, and you have a higher end tmobile phone, then the deductible is always 130.00. 130.00 is a hell of a lot better than full retail.

Tpu fusion is the best. I also have 2. Transperant blue and black. You can find them on ebay. Just type tpu fusion. They are cheap too. My black one cost me around 6 dollars and some change. My blue one not even 6 bucks.

I just received my second mytouch 4g. But with my uber luck, it has a tiny little lint under glass straight out of the box.
Does it mean that other lints can get Tere? If so, will HTC repair it under warranty?
This time I got a good screen, a good chip, and a camera in the middle of its space. I do not want to gamble again and willing to keep it.
The lint is barely noticeable,would you suggest me try exchange again?

Im afraid after that there would be dozens of lints more.
I probably will call htc and mail it for waranty repair. Do they have there a clean room for that?

Water damage has messed with my mother board and parts of the touch have stopped working and I have to rely on prediction to type or turn my phone back and forth should I wait for my tep or buy one on Cl with a cracked screen and switch mbs?

If you make a claim through asurion you have the option to pay now or bill it to your Sprint account which will usually show up on the next billing cycle.
Ok yea that's who I had to go through and was hoping I could do that but they wouldn't tell me until they got the affidavit

If possible you should save your money up, there are a lot of good phones under 200 you can find on ebay. This phone is frustrating to use, with anything newer than donut, and this is coming from someone who has owned 3 generation of android phones(G1/MT3GS/MT4G). If you're interested in things like Ice Cream Sandwich you'll be better off with a newer device, you may not like android as much when you use a phone that's not capable.

Same here, they replaced the whole top part. A few hours later I realized my headset speaker didn't work, so I took it back and they replaced my phone with a refurb. I was happy

It took me 4 days and calling 16 different sprint repair locations before I found a place that had a screen but once I got over there it took them 45 minutes and my phone was back in action.
So your luck may very on finding a shop that can do the repairs.

Was able to repair sisters screen
My sister had the same issue with her Epic, she accidentally cracked the screen leaving her purse in the car on a hot day. We took it to a sprint store and they said they'd repair it if we started a subscription to the phone insurance. All in all cost us about $5 which we could've stopped the following month but my sister wanted to keep it on for future repairs.

Fnont you can find it in ebay for around 100 bucks, back for around 30, if u wanna fix it, for selling, i doubt anybody would give you more than 50 bucks since the only good parts are the battery and the motherboard
