My 2.1 3d gallery was playing up (I had some shortcuts etc to it also) and I uninstalled them all thinking I had a backup in titanium- but it appears I did not and now I cannot install any of the gallery.apk or 3dgallery.ap files - it tells me the application will replace an already installed application i click ok and install and it says installation failed.
Can someone help me re-instate the standard 2.1 3d gallery please?
Sorry If I am a bit of a noob- running 2.1 global rom with jit.
Thanks guys!
**edit after playing around I realised if I deleted com.cooliris (I think that was it) from the sony applications manager I could install the gallery fresh..

Can anyone help me also, I've got a different problem with gallery.
When I want to add a picture frame widget onto one of my home screens, if I select the "use by default" for gallery. Then the widget doesn't load after I select an image, I then have to uninstall gallery wrapper and reinstall so I get the list of programs again. What is the reason for this? Anyone else experience this?

I recently uninstalled the HTC Sync apk on my phone using the Uninstaller App and now I cant mount my phone to any computer and access my sd card. If someone could please post up the APK I would appreciate it. Thanks
Can't you just download a ROM containing it (something stock I guess) and pull it from there?
Only thing im able to find is HTC Sync Widget, but I don't think thats what it is though. The App I removed was not a widget.
I'm facing this problem too ... But I'm on HTC One X though ...
I would like to remove the following built-in application:
- Zinio (it's way outdated and doesn't work - Android Market have newest version but this will note replace the built-in one, so I have TWO Zinio reader)
- Kindle (I can get one from Android Market which is newest)
- PressReader
- Polaris Office
- MyLibrary
- MyCloud
- Layar
- FileManager
Obtain root access and delete it from /system/app/ using ADB/TitaniumBackup/FileManager/etc
use Search on how to root your TF101, I recommend using NVFlash.
As he said above you need root to remove these apps.
Here I will help, I used the root method below and it took 10 mins to do.

Also this video helped a lot too.

Thanks for the help all.
I am now rooted, so the next steps are:
1). Go to /system/apps
2). Delete the offending apps
3). Done.
That's it? Is there any apps that should NOT be moved because of its integration with Asus?
I had bad experiences with my Thunderbolt where I removed the Verizon Backup app and my Thunderbolt croaked.
Don't forget to use the thanks button
The first thing I would do is a backup that way if something does go wrong you not dead in the water.
As far as what apps are safe to remove I haven't tried to remove them but if you plan to install a custom rom most of the bloatware is removed for you.

Not that I know of. Everything should be good, if you have Titanium Backup Pro. Just freeze the app and see what happens If all goes well, uninstall it using Titanium Backup.
Here is a list of bloatware and Google apps that can be safely removed from the stock firmware. Root is required. If you have S-On you will need to boot into recovery and mount the system partition, otherwise changed will not stick. Then use an ADB shell to remove the listed APKs below. Some of these APKs may not be bloatware (such as the Google apps) but I recommend removing them. This will allow you to download and receive the latest version from the play store without having to wait on a system update from htc/at&t.
The following APKs are located in system/app/
amazon kindle - ATT_Amazon_Kindle.apk
at&t Address Book - ATT_AddressBook_SyncMLClient.apk
//Erasing these two sync APKs will break at&t Address Book if it is still installed. I recommend uninstalling address book.
at&t Contacts Sync - ATT_AdressBook_SyncMLProvider.apk
at&t Contacts sync - ATT_AddressBook_SyncMLService.apk
at&t DriveMode - ATT_DriveMode.apk
at&t Family Map - ATT_FamilyMap.apk
at&t Hotspots - ATT_HotSpot.apk
at&t Locker - ATT_Locker.apk
at&t Messages - ATT_Messages.apk
at&t Navigator - ATT_Navigator.apk
at&t Ready 2 Go - ATT_Ready2go.apk
Facebook - Facebook_client.apk
Featured Apps - ATT_PromoWidget.apk
Google Play Books - Books.apk
Google Play Magazines - Magazines.apk
Google Play Music - Music2.apk
Google Search - Velvet.apk
Google Plus - PlusOne.apk
LiveTV - com.mobitv.client.tv.apk
Google Maps - GMS_Maps.apk
My at&t - ATT_myATT.apk
SoundHound - SoundHound_Freemium.apk
Google Talk - Talk.apk
Twitter - Twitter_Client.apk
Youtube -YouTube.apk
YPMobile - ATT_YPmobile.apk
Good work mate

Protip, you can also use Titanium Backup to remove them
Hi,
To complete the list (it seems it's AT&T specific apps), you can take a look here: [SCRIPT] ROM Cleaner v1.6 | Remove Bloatware | Backup Apps | Install Apps/Mods.
And there is also a list of removable apps here with a description off the apps: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=43192414&postcount=30995.

Hi,
Yes, I deleted them without any issues. But don't delete HTC_IME.apk (the keyboard).

I'm having a really strange problem. I'm on stock TMOUS 4.3 (that just came down) with unlocked bootloader and root. I'm using Root Explorer to remove the Kid Mode, LockScreen, IQ, and T-Mobile (Bloat) from the /system/app menu. Everything looks great and the AOSP lockscreen triggers... however... upon reboot... the apps restore themselves! Is there some kind of system protection that I need to delete or disable?
Yes

Remember that this might break the ability to upgrade through OTA. The OTA checks if certain apps are installed before upgrading and will stop if one app is not found.
Hi to everyone! I rooted my phone in order to remove bloatware, including VpnDialogs. Now I found out that it wasn't so useless and I would like to restore just that app without formatting the whole phone. I tried to put the app in system/app but when I try to use Vpn through apps such as OperaVpn, Betternet etc a pop up appears stating that VpnDialogs crashes. Can someone provide the apk and explain how to set it correctly?
Hey! How did you solve your problem?
