No, because these should be functionally identical to the nightly builds. It's just a preference of optimized vs non-optimized builds.

No. RA needs to die. CyanogenMod and ClockworkMod recovery moved on to edify scripting a long time ago.

And I have copies of Darch's 1.7 unofficial which is what I have on my phone now. If you want me to attach the file I will.
Thx Jason working real nice .I have not always been much on modifing alot so the odex versions draw my attention. This makes a nice rom really smooth and so far no glitches.
Optimized version of 7.0 final is up now. Going to mirror this in the CM7 dev thread.

This is great! Downloading now
Just installed the stable7.0 and I must say there is a noticeable overall performance increase. I haven't seen that kind of speed since the early aospGB mod.
Thank you much for this.
Jason, I can't install gapps for the life of me. Am I doing something wrong? I wiped everything, did a fresh install, but Google apps never show after I boot.
Setup:
Wipe everything
Firate
Wipe and reboot
ROM
Gapps 2011325
Firate boot
Boot
Any suggestions?
Jason, I'd like to hear your thoughts (or any technically proficient developer's thoughts) on AutoKiller's new "Advanced system tweaks."
Specifically, I was wondering if any would conflict with CM7, do more bad than good, or which one(s) should (theoretically) offer real improvements.
Thanks!
How did you odex it? I found some scripts to manually do it and I'm working on making a script to do the manual work on first boot of rom. But I'm interested in how you did it?

Just trying to verify here... ALL the other ROMs I have tried come in around 150Mb, when I clicked the CM6 link, it only shows 66 Mb. Is the ROM really only half the size of all the other ROMs? Is that difference from dropping Sense?
Yea AOSP rom are that much smaller. And don't forget 14 MB for the Gapps.
Can this be used on the EVO? Or why is it for?

Does Titanium Backup backup the Gapps?
It can, yes.
I understand the ROM part of CM6 and what it entails but can someone explain what Kernel changes have been made to this over the Stock Kernel? thanks.
This is just a captivate kernel for the i9000 sense port.
INSTRUCTIONS:
1.Follow the instructions to flash GalaxySense.
2.Reboot into recovery, and flash the reorient kernel
4. Enjoy!
NOTE: If you can't follow these simple instructions, DO NOT FLASH. THIS IS TOTALLY UNSUPPORTED, AND IM NOT RESPONSIBLE FOR ANY DAMAGE.
PS: I'll probably start supporting it once it reaches a usable level, but for now, this is just a kernel for people who are desperate/want to try it out.

Doesn't matter, it's only to gain access to recovery. Once they release alpha 2, recovery is fixed and you'll be able to just flash straight from the rom, without odin.

Just like king23adrianc's CM7 Kang thread, here's one for CM9 Kangs.
Kangs are unofficial Cyanogen builds built by members of the community. They're not supported by the CM team at all, and in many cases aren't supported by the person who cooked the kang.
Kangs can contain features (cherry picks) that haven't been committed into the official nightlies, so you get some pretty cool cutting-edge features that aren't in the official rom. Sometimes these features get built-in to the official CM roms, sometimes they don't.
If you're not familiar with flashing roms, this probably isn't the place for you. Read up on it a bit, make yourself familiar with what you're doing and ALWAYS make a backup of your rom, in case something goes wrong.
For the latest kangs, start at the end of the thread.
To start, here's a link to the euroskank kangs for CM9:

No Cherry Pick: Download (deleted)
Cherry pick version: Download (deleted)
-Dialer Landscape Mode
-Preferences: initial Preferences Activity, Provider and XML
-v3 RIL: another getDataCallState fix
-Revert "Bug 5003361: No Android Dreams in Settings / Display"
I appreciate those who make them without cherry picks. Thanks a lot
Also don't forget everyone that you need to fix super user after every flash and should also flash gapps everytime for the time being.

Can you guys tell me how is this rom?
I use koushik cm9 11.
Wifi? 3g/2g? mms? calendar sync? data usage? thetering? google talk video?
What else...
Is it smooth? What about cherry picks?
Whats the difference?
Why there is nothing in nexus s android dev forum? (many persons tell this rom is great)
What about the UI? Stock ICS? Launcher? Stock?
Sorry for asking u so many questions but I couldnt find anything
Thanx
what i've noticed about the euroskank builds so far:
CM power button options (screenshot, reboot recovery, ect).
Data usage seems broken, at least with the stock kernel. edit: kernel related, flashed different one and fixed.
I use the latest, seemingly unrleased gapps from http://download.clockworkmod.com/test/gapps-ics-20111128.zip
I delete the Maps.apk from the gapps zip before flashing so I can install latest from market (or else you will be stuck with old version and wont be able to upgrade).
edit: rename or delete superuser.apk in /system/app/ and download from market. the one included in the rom forcecloses. No reboots necessary.

I've honestly lost count of all your posts that offer absolutely nothing helpful or relevant to the discussion.
I understand theres not much of a point to this. The main reason for this thread is cm10 as all the other cm10 roms don't have the stock cm kernel. But since I build the other ones anyways i figured I'd post them. And I'll post install instructions.

So...if you understand there's not much of a point, why post at all? Also, FYI, in regard to your OP: "to" is not the same as "too", and "infact" is not a word. Just sayin'.

Because this is the only cm10 rom with the stock cm kernel. I meant there was not much reason to post any of the other builds

You'll likely receive a lot of flak over re-hosting/posting stuff as you've seen thus far, but if you're offering something you've re-worked in any way(which is what I understand you're doing) then I'd stick with just that and link to other threads in your OP if necessary.
If you compiled from CM10 source here we have CM10 kernel for Captivate (no datadata partition).
This is very interesting.
Thank you very much: if compiling went well this is really an important step for JB on Cappy and now we can run also official Pawitp builds.

Yes this is compiled from source specifically for the captivate.
And compiles with no errors
I'm surprised not to see a link in reference to it yet and I'm sure that the paranoid team will make an official thread soon enough but for now this will do to let everyone know that paranoid android is available finally for our device.
Please not that it is still an alpha release so there may be bugs, don't report them in here as this is just to inform users and has nothing to do with the official team.
Grab the ROM file here.....http://get.aospa.co/
File is located under official supported devices....Happy flashing all!!!!
Sweet! But does it auto encrypt?

Yes it seems to be encrypted going by what the comments on G+ say. downloading atm so i can confirm in a bit (download is real slow though)
Also remember PA is no longer pre rotted

I may be blind, but I'm not seeing the Nexus 6 under official devices.
**UPDATE** Yes, I'm blind, please disregard.
Was wondering where the thread was to this. Saw it on G+ this morning and downloaded but haven't flashed yet. Glad to see PA is an option for N6 users. I'm sure we will see some nice features with this ROM as it develops. Maybe we will get lock screen customization back sooner than we think.

no big download button/bar at the bottom? there is for me.
For those who don't see it, it is because your browser is using a cached copy of the page. Clear your cache and you should be good!
Or, if you don't want to clear the cache, I have the link below.

OK so I installed and it's running good however I see no options besides themes..... Am I taking crazy pills?
Nice one ?

It's an Alpha. PA will need to redo all of their old features to work and follow the Lollipop look so it'll take a while.

Sure I get that.... Just expected something. No disrespect intended, just expected the basics to be there.

Instead of flashing an unencrypted kernel I was wondering if anybody has tried this method:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=3000788
I am running stock, rooted and unencrypted.

I'll admit they launched way after Cyan and Cyan have more stable features but the PA guys always like to make sure things work before they release it since they have no nighties. I was expecting more from the first release but ah well they'll get there eventually. I'm still on stock atm anyway Cyan has a stutter problem with the notification/toggle swipe and animations that annoyed me too much.

Yeah it's running good for sure!
Has anyone tried an unencrypted kernel yet? If so, did you flash it immediately after the rom to stay unencrypted?
