Are there any rom's that can be flashed without using a computer?

You can flash any if them without a computer.
I want to flash the miui rom but I'm currently on gingerbread, rooted, stock. I have a Nandroid backup from when i was on froyo with liberty. Can i revert back to that and then be safe flashing the miui rom or is the only way to sbf then reroot? I'm looking for an alternative to sbf.

I searched in the "bible" for some kernels and they all seem incompatible to the Cyanogenmod 7.1.0 release. Anyone know of a kernel that will work with this release... First time Mytouch4g user. I came from the Vibrant world. This phone seems a little more dead than over there.

Its for all GB AOSP ROMS as far as I know. That includes CM7 and Variants as well as MIUI.

Sounds good! Would you say this is better over the kernel that comes with cm7.1.0?
Sent from my HTC Glacier using xda premium
Yes. Its an improved version with a wider range of frequencies and more governors.

What is the proper way to flash a kernel? Boot into recovery, wipe dalvik, then flash?

Does it hurt to wipe dalvik and cache for kernel flashing?
Two problems, android.process.media keeps force closing even after fix permissions. After fix permissions I lose functionality of my search and home keys. This happened on my razr as well. Any suggesions on how to restoore these buttons? I don't want to factory reset because obviously that will work. I'm running on a clean install of liquid smooth 3.0. R2D2 Droid 2

Have you tried wiping cache? Or just re-flashing the rom?
