My wife recently got a refurbished evo and I noticed that the screen had a pinkish tint to it. Has anyone had this issue?

Some EVO displays have a blue-ish almost purple-ish tint. You can correct the colors using a app created by someone in the N1 forums but I believe that it only works in CM.

My wife and myself got two arias about a week ago, and her screen is noticeably yellow in tint. Or mine is very white. Bit the point is that they do not have the screen.
Have any of you seen or heard of this? Were taking hers back tomorrow. I know there is a thread about this in the diamond forums. This was an issue for those phones a while back.

I did notice a difference when I have the brightness set at medium and when it is set to high. Kind of an eggwhite color?

If there is noticeable yellowing on the screen, take it back to AT&T for a new one .... this is typically a sign of a loose connection or bad screen.

Compared to the Evo, my Epic hasa really cool color temperature. Screen is really blue. Is this normal for this phone or is mine off? This is driving me baddy.

Does me no good, Voodoo works only at 100% brightness...
Mine is like that too. Slight blueish tint compared to my wife's Evo.
I saw a thread about this about a month ago or so... from the sounds of it not all epics were like this. I never noticed it on mine but again, a lot of others have.

Before the Epic came out, I looked at the Tmobile Galaxy S phone and was mortified at the bluish tint of its screen. A portion of a web page which was supposed to appear white would appear very very pale baby blue. It was definitely noticeable. If you are experiencing that on your Epic. . . . sorry. My Epic does not have that problem.
Long story short....Im in love with this phone.
But my first one had vertical lines that ran down the screen and I thought it was just the color scheme but I found out that it is Screen Burn in =(
I returened it and my second has screen burn in too!!
What's with Samsung giving this phone recycled or defected amoled screens
Should I return it and rebuy it in a month or send it into Samsung??
If there are alternatives please share .......

Have any pics, so we have an idea what you're talking about?
Damn it sucks but I don't have a camera buttttt if you pull your notification bar down look at the grey area.....you should see some sort of grid lines that are light
Mine has that but also there are a couple of dark lines that can be seen on everything including pictures.....

Hey guys so I got my nexus 4 about a week and a half ago and there are some things I love and hate. The screen is what's really getting to me. It has a yellowish tint and the viewing angles are pretty awful. Is this a software or hardware issue? I've heard some kernel updates fix it but I can't find it. I just find the screen not as sharp as it should be. I'm coming from an HTC one x and that display was just absolutely gorgeous. Any help would be appreciated

I know some phones have a yellowish tint until the glue dries. Iphones have had this issue but I am not sure about the N4.

If you are rooted, you might want to give this a try:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2035672
If you are not rooted, I believe there is another app, but it just puts an overlay on the screen. So, some have been running into issues with that.
I've been running Franco's app, and I have to say I am very pleased with it.
there's already a thread for this, you should find some answers there: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1990276
So I got a black s4 and my gf got a white s4.when I compared the screen.hers seems more brighter and more vivid.like her whites are more white and black is black.mine seems darker and washed up..I have no problem with mine.it seems OK but outside in the sun.it isn't very bright.I haven't seen hers yet in the sun.I assume it would be brighter .has anyone else compared theirs with another s4? Are they identical.or would this be normal with manufacturing, that you will never have the exact same results in color and brightness ...
