Hello!
Previously (on stock 2.1.1.A.0.6 russian ROM) my market updated by itself to the 2.3 version when I downloaded something from it (2.2 is the green one, 2.3 - same but with smaller font in descriptions etc.). I've destroyed my stock rom today and installed new and fresh ROM from here: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=941458
But now my market didn't updated automatically for 5 hours (still looks like as the old one) even when I downloaded all the apps I wanted.
Is there a way to force-update it?

Sent from my E15i using XDA App
So what did you do to prevent the update?
edit: OK solved - found 2.3.2 .apk for HVGA devices, works on x8 perfectly.
Hallo
I bought the official WolframAlpha App about 3 weeks ago and yesterday after I installed Oxygen 2.0 final (was using RC before) it's not available anymore.
If I scan the code from appbrain it just tells me that the elment couldn't be found.
Is it rom related? As far as I see it's the only app I always used which is gone.
I'm guessing rom related, since it shows up for me (CM7, latest nightly).
Bought it today with CM7 from Germany - so it seems to be not a general problem.
Installed Oxygen 2.0 also... and can admit that it's missing in my market also.
So might really be rom-related.
Hello everyone!
Yesterday I made some tests with some roms, CM 7 and MIUI 2.5.25 and went to stock (2.3.6 GB) sometimes.
After going to MIUI again, after CM7, I started to have some issues with some apps from the market.
The ones I saw 'till now is: Eternity Warriors and Contract Killer
Is there a way to solve this? It says that my mobile isn't compatible... but it works flawless on CM7.
Thanks!
You can solve it by find the apk of the game somewhere and install it by yourself, it works. I hope it will be fixed in the rom itself soon.
Hello!
I tryed using ALL .apk versions of Eternity Warriors lol
None of them worked, dunno why. The incompatibility came from no where.
One it was working flawless and the other day not.

Ill be straight to the point.. most of us have been using cm9 which is ics 4.0.0 since august 2012,each week, well sometimes every two weeks, since they are missing weeks. Cm9 is a nightly, which means there are bugs and issues, since teh rom is not stable. However, most of the problems have been fix and I have had not had any real issues with it, I do use it day to day, till a new custom rom (based off a previous cm9 nightly release) comes out that I want to try. but the roms has come a long way since build 1.
If something went wrong? like you bricked your phone. There is two ways.. create a back up in cwm before you flash cm9... or you can used kdz, which is used to recovery your phone if your brick it or you want to upgrade or download your firmware.
Also please give me more info about your phone. Like what baseband you are using, what country etc.
Also there are some stock custom roms, which are modified version of stock (2.3.6). With features like 1000 GHz overclock, new launcher, file manager and other useful tweaks/mods

Upgrade to the latest firmware using the Lg firmware site. Also make sure you do a back up when you install cmw, before you flash cm9. Also you might want to download the 1GHz Kernel, even if you dont plan to overclock, it will get rid of the battery bug on start up.

Hey!
New to the XDA forum, not new to Android!
I will cut to the chase and explain really fast what I need help with.
I have been using the Imperium ROM 4.4.2 KK for a few weeks now and I love it.
But as of a few days ago, Update 4.0 (up from 3.6) was released, and my phone just won't stop spamming me with "upgrade to the latest version 4.0!" . However, as far as I can tell, I have to re-download the 4.0 ROM and flash my phone entirely over again.
So, TL;DR:
I am using the Galaxy S4 Imperium 4.4.2 ROM 3.6 and I want to;
a)Upgrade to 4.0 without re-flashing my and having to re-install all apps, backup photos etc.
b)Turn off the spam notifications about updating.
Thanks in advance, sincerely

I have the same problem i was using 6.0 and now 7.0 is out can i just perform ota update or do i have to donwload the rom and flash it.....what about my apps installed in 6.0 can i just apply update from sd in recovery...i dont want to reinstall all those apps again.plz help
Guys come on. These are really basic questions.
- If you are not prepared to wipe everything from time to time, then you should stay away from custom roms.
- You can just try it yourself if it works. Make a backup and flash away. If you got problems, fully wipe and restore your backup.
