Only the 1.5 version of the HTC_IME keyboard works with the 2.2 ROM. Unfortunately, the voice input does not work since it is only the 1.5 version. This is the version that works.

There are two .apk to install and both are in the zip file... with the time spent posting that question you could have just opened it and found out what was inside
I use ShapeWriter and it works perfectly.

@derekwilkinson - i dont think it was necessary for you to get smart all i did was ask a simple question b/c i didnt know. being the smart ass you seem to be you should have realized i didnt know i was supposed to unzip it until i realized the flash failed and said it wasnt working !
Use a file explorer like Astro to open the .zip. You should get an option to open with app manager (or something along those lines ha ha) and you should be able to install.

pushing necessary lib files will enable farther versions of the IME keyboard to work, you still dont get voice recognition to work but the keyboard is there.

Don't know why it some times says that but I've had that happen to me before but just go ahead and download it anyways. U shouldn't have a problem. I never have.
It will not download. It automatically stops the download and on my notifications bar it says download unsuccessful??

Anyone? Im still facing this issues.
Sounds like it's trying to open the file, rather than just save it, and it can't find an associate program to open it with... try a different browser, like Dolphin HD instead of stock, and see if that will let you download the file and actually save it rather than trying to open it.
Ok tried searching for the Mobile Ap apk but no luck. Can someone please post a link or a apk. And installing info too please. My Vibrant is running stock Rom with JI6 Update. And Lag Fix v2. Thanks a million!

Thanks. Stupid question how do you flash using rom manager?
Sent from my SGH-T959 using XDA App
First you need to be rooted, second go to the market and download Rom Manager then in Rom Manager select Install ROM and browse for the file. Do not unzip the file
Ok thanks.any issues with flashing it with my rooted stock rom with lag fix v2.

What are you trying to play exactly? A flash vid or a flash website (such as HBO.com)? If its just a vid I'd suggest checking out skyfire browser i think it's called
