I need your help please! I'm very worried about this and can't figure out any solution.
I opened a threat in "Questions" section but got no responses so I repost here to see if I have better luck.
HERE IS THE ORIGINAL THREAT WITH THE EXPLANATION OF MY PROBLEM
Thanks in advance for taking your time at least reading
We need more info mate..
Also, this isn't the correct part of the forum, so I suggest you edit your original thread with the correct and necessary info as:
what happens when you try to make a call?
what message or sound do the other people hear when try to call you?
can you send/receive texts?
Have you got signal at all?
What about 3g/2g connection? Wifi?
Please update your original thread with necessary info and leave this one behind...
Then a mod can close it...

OK, post updated with more info. Thanks!

Hi,
I have the I-mate Jam.
I got this problem when sending text messages.
Each time I send one the message : Message send.
comes in my screen twice.
First I tought it was just a second warning but then my friends told me they got 2 messages each time with the same content.
And yes I get billed twice aswel :-(
I didn't try to hard-reset my I-mate yet couse I wasn't sure if this was just a technical problem or a setting in the messaging system.
Do you guys have had any probleems that looks simalair like this one?
or have any idea on how to fix it?

Is it not a general rule that before posting one should;
1. read the Stickies
2. browse through
3. search
In fact here's a nice link for everyone which I believe it was initially posted by "nonentity" http://www.albinoblacksheep.com/flash/posting.php
Some people are just so dumb lazy and don't bother to do any of the above.
Why not just stay out of the post.... instead of replying with foolishness.
Just makes you look like you got your head up your arse..
It's the guys who post stupidly who have their heads up their asses.
Infact I did use the search function but didn't found what I was looking for.
But thanks anyway.
I have pocket plus installed so think it is solved now.
Thank you Zerimar you really know how to help people you should work at a helpdesk

Guys,
I know I sounded harsh but my point is that by doing some search with the proper words (i.e. sms sent twice, or sms sent 2 times) for sure you will easily find your answers:
Just to prove to you guys, I just now did a search using the parameters mentioned and found over 15 posts in a couple of minutes. In the third link, which is from Oct 2005 "elyl" already mentioned that this same question was already posted.

Hello,
I wonder if someone knows how to disable the button on the headset. Everytime I use the headset to listen to some music, the stupid button gets pressed accidently and calls the last person I called. Its verry annoying (especially if you call someone at 5 o'clock at night when ging back home after a party )
I don't see any option to turn this off, but maybe there's a register value that can be set or is there a program to disable it.
Can someone please help me.
Grtz
does it require a long press or a short one?
A short one.
The button is so sensitive it needs no pressure at all to get activated. That is the reason it happens so often.

Can't remember exactly, but I think its in HKLM/Software/Oem/VoiceCommand
By the way, this is definitely in the wrong section, next time use q&a.
Bump.... anyone got a solution to this?
I would love to disable the call function on the button as well.
there's a thread for this on the Q&A section which i already answered.
search for it.

You clearly haven't read my question.
Read better next time.
Solution?
Hey people!
yay, my first post on this fantastic forum.
Has any one found a solution to this problem? It's really annoying this "auto-call" function.
I've tried this regedit suggestion, but with no luck.
Thanks for the help!
I download andorid on my hd2 but if some one call or i call someone i the sound real tiny can someone please help.

This is my first post on this forum. I have recently installed NexusHD2-ICS-4.0.3-CM9-SD V1.0. Everything is working great except one problem. I am unable to mute the phone during the call. Even though the icon shows as mute, the others can still hear my voice. Please help me in resolving this. I have searched the entire forum but no solution found.
As always keep up the great work.
Does anyone else have this problem on that rom? Did you told chef of that rom about it?
Maybe it's only oversight which requires little fix from chef.
I believe it's not the only problem. ics is still new to hd2 and therefore many things need to be fixed. but he is right, report to chef
This is a known issue, it was discussed under the NAND thread.
Search before you ask

Thanks for your response. I have almost spent 5 hours in searching a fix. Nobody has a proper solution. If you know one, please let me know. I'd really appreciate that. Thanks again.

Experiencing the same exact issue here.
Searched and searched and could not find a viable solution.
I am wits end on this issue.
If anyone knows a solution, please post it...
Thanks guys...

Not being able to mute a call is a known issue listed in the thread where the rom is available for download.
If you can't live with bugs on your phone, then I suggest you go back to your official rom from HTC.
These known issues will be fixed when the chef gets around to it...
Cheers,
ck
ck16 - No, it is not listed in the thread at all <http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1441462>. Like I said I've searched and searched and cannot find an answer all over the place!
Thanks for your help!
Cheers

PLEASE don't spam for 10 posts. As tempting as it may be, that isn't how you go about it. You help people or if you really are a noob and know nothing, you go to the off-topic forums (and be off-topic) but you most certainly DO NOT spam in a thread for 10 posts. Bumping your thread after literally 6 minutes is not going to encourage people to help you. It in fact puts me off replying to you because you seem like a bit of a twat for doing so.
However, even if I wanted to help you I couldn't. You haven't provided much useful information at all, just that your data doesn't work on NexusHD2 and it does in the AOKP ROM. Which radio do you have? What bootloader are you using? Have you read the FAQs and read through some of the last few pages of the thread at the very least? What have you tried so far to solve it?
and yeah apn settings are same except names, and tried same names , didnt work
OK so , I wont. Been looking for last post for hours.
magldr 1.13
radio 2.15.50.14 /eu
aokp's kernel is hwa_r1 , other's hwa_r2 , so looks like a kernel issue ?
I can see "H" icon and my ip at settings/phone info , but no connection. tried direct ip connection in case of DNS errors , didnt work.
