Zeemote for Atrix 4G - Atrix 4G General

Hey guys, I was wondering if the Zeemote works with Atrix 4G.
http://www.zeemote.com/
Can anyone confirm?

No mention of Motorola on their site.... so i don't see why it would. Then again, i don't really see why anyone would want that for their phone.

For emu gaming it would be pretty usefull, specially considering multitouch is restricted to two fingers on the Atrix.
I've seen a N1 working with the zeemote, and there are some generic IME drivers out there. I was just wondering if those drivers would make it work with the Atrix.

don't bother
Hi guys I'm working on setting up a full n64, roms, and wiimote app package for xda, don't bother with ziimote, buy a 15 dollar knockoff wiimote and then get the wiimote controller app fo free. Im putting all these together in a package fr xda users, should be done before tomorrow

Bluetooth Gamepro Gamepad - Does it work?

I read here
androidforums.com/htc-incredible/88993-gamepad-microusb-bluetooth-incredible.html
that the gamepro gamepad works with HTC incredible using their latest drivers.
Can anyone verify??
GamePro - Android Trial is the app and such
He said he used this
MSI BGP100 bluetooth gamepad.
Thanks!
Yes it works, I think he is charging a bit much though, ten dollars for a cheap ass driver?
Really? Ive been looking all over for a bluetooth gamepad solution and several other Incredible owners have told me directly the msi-bgp pad and that app do not work. We simply dont have the right bluetooth stack on our phones.
Well, mymobilegear.com/showthread.php?t=18203&page=2
The guy says he got it to work on incredible using their new beta software. Someone try it out for me? They are giving away beta keys for testing.

Bluetooth game controllers

Got a few questions here. I am on rooted android 2.2. Has anyone used the zeemote or msi bgp100 gamepad with the dell streak? There are zeemote drivers on the android market and also something called gamepro drivers for android for both of those controllers but I wanted to c if anyone had them up and running on dell streak b4 I order one off the inet. Also if u have tried the zeemote or used one before will the streak fit in the middle of it? It has a clamp thing.
Next question. Ive got the wiimote connected to my streak and it is awesome to say the least but I was borrowing my roommates. I went out and got a nyko wand but it is not connecting. Has anyone tried one of these and got it working? Can u plug the classic controller into the wiimote and use that also? Can u use the wireless classic controller and does this also have to b nintendo brand? Asking cause the wiimote doesnt have enough buttons to play a lot of snes games. Asking about wireless cause it seems like a hassle to have a controller connected to a controller to play on dell streak that is also why im looking into the zeemote and msi gamepad.

Any answers? Bump

I'm still waiting on my Streak. I guess I shouldn't have ordered the red one but anyway when I get it I plan on getting this:
youtube.com/watch?v=Hd-bw5UxxsA&feature=related
Datel wireless wiimote.
At first I was trying to get the bgp100 msi pad but it is impossible to get as it was produced in 2005 and is apparently out of production.
But the Datel wiimote is better anyway. 20 bucks on ebay last I checked
Glad I'm not the only person thinking about using the Streak for games.
I use the wiimote with the classic attached (all original nintendo), works magic, kick ass on Street Fighter 2

[Q] Xoom DLNA certified or something similar?

Hi guys, I currently have a Droid X which I like very much specifically the DLNA and Xbox 360 sharing features, both of which allow me to wirelessly access my music, photos, and videos from my phone and computer on my Xbox Does the Xoom have this feature or at least does Gingerbread 3.x support it/plan on supporting it?
Also I read in one of the reviews that the miniHDMI out doesn't work directly from the device, rather it needs the dock and then from the dock you go miniHDMI to HDMI on the TV, is this true? (That wouldn't make much sense to me...)
All in all, I have to say I'm excited to be a consumer now-a-days, I'm leaning towards the Xoom, but I do miss certain apps from my Ipad of which there are no GOOD substitutes on android. Specifically, AirVideo which worked like a charm both over wi-fi and 3G and GoodReader, both of which I used religiously. I also hope that Netflix will have an android app soon. Besides that though, I must say if I don't get the xoom, I'm excited to finally start customizing the looks and basic UI, like I have with LP and Desktop Widgets on my Droid X.
Currently the xoom doesn't support dlna. Possibly in the future?
The HD dock is not needed to use HDMI out. Just hook up any micro HDMI cable and it works fine.

Edit: I was wrong. I found an app that works! I'm using 2Player. Give that a try.
Yes it has DLNA ... look for Skifta in the market ... and if you run into any issues use their tech support like i did in this thread http://forums.skifta.com/topic/tablet-support?replies=12#post-1164

[looking for dev] An App that emulates touch input to physical buttons!

Hi guys
So I'm a proud owner of the iControlPad (http://www.icontrolpad.com/) and its a totally awesome device already working very good through an App called BluezIME.
Anyway in the ICP forums there is this Thread about an iphone App called Blutrol.
Here's a link with some info about it:
http://www.ringwald.ch/cydia/blutrol/
Now what this app does, is simulating touch input. So if you hit a button on the gamepad, it's like you would hit the touchscreen in a specific place (configurable). Thus making real Gamepad controls compatible with many many games in the market (there are still some limitations).
I think this would be great on Android. There are lots of different gamepads out already, and many companies are advertising the Gamepad compatibility of their devices like the Asus Transformer Prime.
Sadly i have no idea how to port/develop something like that but I'd definately pay for it!
Sixaxis controller.

yeah, sixaxis controler is what you are looking for. you can also download mappings for many popular gamer here on xda ready to play
Thx for your replies. I checked out the app, but as i understand it its strictly for use with the sixaxis controller. I was looking for something a bit more "universal" so i can map buttons from any bluetooth controller including the ICP.
It would be cool to be able to map android keyboard input to the touchscreen. Because then its automatically possible to use several devices that use keyboard input. Not sure if this is possible with the sixaxis app.
And i'm not really prepared to buy a ps3 controller because i dont own a ps3
Lol yeah u should try contacting them. See how they did it etc
Sent from my good old Galaxy S II. Hit thx if u think i helped and may the force be with u.
Still looking
I agree that this would be great! Sorry to dig up an old thread, but anybody seen anything like this yet? I'm hoping to use it with the Impulse Controller I just backed on Kickstarter...
There is an app now for this, its universal and supports keyboard mouse and virtually anything else, its called USB/BT joystick center 7 it is 5 bucks and slightly confusing to use, but it does work.

PhoneJoy Play (new bluetooth game controller on Kick

Just saw this and thought some of the rest of you may be interested:
http://www.slashgear.com/phonejoy-play-smartphone-game-controller-hits-kickstarter-05259565/
I'm thinking about going in on it, but not entirely decided yet...
I've still been holding out hope that someday a new phone with game controls will be available, but the longer I wait the more I start to consider these game control accessories. The MOGA almost had me convinced, except I don't like that they didn't implement it as a standard HID controller. This solution looks pretty good to me, though it is just trying to get off the ground and still a ways away which doesn't exactly solve the waiting problem...
What do you guys think? Anyone else interested? Still holding out for a new phone with game controls?

Wrong section. This belongs in accessories.

Yeah, I wasn't sure where to put it... it's a silly accessory for the Xperia Play because it would be completely redundant!
I saw there was a previous thread under General about the MOGA controller, so I figured this was the most appropriate place.

PhoneJoy Play + hTC DNA = the AWESOMENESS itself
But unfortunately that DNA is only exclusive to Verizon.
They are getting close to their funding goal and still have until Jan 3rd to go! ( $48,131 / $50,000 as of now)
They've also got some stretch goals, but not sure if they will make it that far.
But yeah, I'm thinking this is the best controller accessory solution for anyone wanting to upgrade to a new phone (without integrated gaming controls).
And they're saying they've managed to get enough stretch into it now to fit a Galaxy Note II. That could bump mobile android gaming up to a 5.5" screen!

The project is now funded! But I think you can still pledge for one through their PayPal webstore, if anyone else is interested!
http://www.kickstarter.com/projects...y-turn-your-phone-into-a-console/posts/374918
Just wanted to update one last time in case anyone else is interested in this accessory. I did get in on the kickstarter, but I still plan to stick with my Xperia Play for a while. I do hope a new Sony gaming phone comes out soon, or I might even consider an X-Box phone if Microsoft would make one. But now if not, I'll have this to slap onto a more modern phone in the future. And I should also be able to use it on my computer/other devices as a regular controller.
