I am looking for an app/widget to change the:
Settings/Call Settings/Additional Settings/Caller ID/Hide-Show My number.
I do that a lot and want to see if there is a better way to do this.
Thanks
Wow. Responses are overwhelming....

I use "ANY CUT" from the Market .. lets you make a shortcut to pretty much anything.
Cheers!
Purchased the app. I can not find a shorcut to do what I am trying to do. AM I missing something???
Thanks for your reply...I am very close...

Don't know if you found the answer yet ---
Have you looked in the ACTIVITY section? It has pre-defined ones, tons of them, what you are looking for likely in there
The predefined ones are very limited but there is a way to make your own, I couldn't tell you how but it is on the any cut menu...

Thought I would show this to you all, maybe someone would be up to the challenge of making an app similar to this for our WM phones. Quick vid here at YouTube. If I even knew where to begin I would attempt to create it, but it's not something I'm able to do yet. Anyways, thought it would match well with A_C's apps and all of the launchers.
Thanks!
Anyone at all?

No I meant the actual app for SMS, not a launcher.
Sorry, misunderstanding... Try PocketCM, not quite the same but closest there is...
I'm working witht he Diamond 2 Gsensor sdk on my Diamond and I have been able to successfully add string values to the whitlist section in the gsensors registry. (HKCU\Software\HTC\HTCSENSOR\Whitelist)
The whitelist values enable rotation. My question is how can I create a "Blacklist" so to speak that would contain values for apps I dont want rotated? Is it possible? If so is it as easy as crating the said paths?
Anybody?...

I have not tried this yet myself but i would guess, and tell me if im wrong, that the only time it will rotate is if the app is in the white list if its not in the white list then it will not rotate.

Well this is true, however, the whitelist uses class names to determine what apps to rotate. The class name "dialog" refers to multiple apps like the phone dialer, call status, sms composer, and more. So when I add "dialog" in the whitelist it rotates all of these. I would like to try and make an exception list that uses the process name or window name as the identifyer. That way I could have dialog in the whitelist and cprog.exe in the exceptions or blacklist key. It may not be possible but thats what I'm asking I guess.
bump... c'mon guys theres gotta be an answer to this.

Thanks, I have that much so far but I'm still looking for a way to specify between cprog and tmail in the whitelist because they both use Dialog as a class name. Thanks for the effort though
can someone make it cab file?

Did you try:
HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\HTC\HTCSENSOR\GSensor\M oduleName]
"Album"="\\Windows\\HTCAlbum.exe"
"Calculator"="\\Windows\\htcCalculator.exe"
"SMS"="\\Windows\\tmail.exe"
[HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\HTC\HTCSENSOR\GSensor\W hiteList]
"TestHTCSensorDemoAP"="TESTHTCSENSORDEMOAP"
"Album"="HTCAlbumClass"
"Calculator"="CalculatorMain"
"Opera"="Opera_MainWndClass"
"SMS"="Dialog"
Seems logical to me. But as always the logical thing isn't the right choice by definition.
One tip though, if you want to know something, just try! That's the way other people get their knowledge about these things....
And afterwards, please share your results with the rest of the world ofcourse!

Same here. I still havent figured out a way around this.
I remember reading about some sort of program, script or setting to change to enable this:
From the home screen, start typing the name of a contact and/or the name of an application or program, and you'll be able to launch the program or call/txt the contact.
Yes, I'm aware that starting to type the name of the contact while on the home screen will search through the contacts and enable you to find your contact and place a call...
The difference with this script or program being it adds additional searching/functionality to also include being able to launch programs as well just the contacts.
I cannot remember where I read about this (possibly on another blog, in the signature of someone here on XDA, on Cyrket, as an added feature of one of the cooked ROMS, etc).
If anyone knows of the name of the program, the GScript, or whatever it could possibly be, I sure would appreciate your help. I know it's available (edit: maybe not, see post below), I just don't know what it is or where to find it.
Thanks.
Isn't this supposed to be a feature of Android 2.0?
Maybe that's what I read about.
No amount of searching the Market or Cyrket or anywhere else has turned up any results, so I bet that's it.
Look for "moov" in market. Sounds like what your looking for.

I knew I had read about it.
Got it. It's a little flaky, but it does the trick.

Does the Ozone (Maple/Willow) utilize ClearType?
And does anyone know how to tweak the settings? I cannot find a place to do it in the settings folder.

Thanks Pri (my personal search assistant),
I found that and the control panel addon. What I'm wondering is it used as default in the Maple/Willow?
Specifically I wonder because I've noticed the rendered type in some programs (Skyfire, IE, etc) is not as clear as others. I'm curious - if ClearType is on, would this be an issue with the various apps or if it's not active, would it be an issue that ClearType could resolve.

Hey guys,
When I try to add the ClearType key, I get a "Access Is Denied" prompt. Is there anyway around this? I'm using the Snap unlocked international version btw...
Thanks.

i think it came with a user manual.....
Yes, I am aware of that. Unfortunately this information is not given in the manual.
So again, if anyone figured it out, I would really appreciate it!
