Does anyone know if the Nodo update will disable the tethering hack?
Still works for me.
It does not. Not a hack either.

Hello,
I like to hear music very often on my LG.
But sometimes the date/hour on the lockscreen jumps forward (approx 1 day and half) and audio become mute: need to restart device to back audio and correct the date. My setting on date/hour is manual, but also on auto is the same. Seems that issue is connected with marketplace synchronization.
Anyone has the same problems? Anyone have found solutions?
I have the pre NoDo update installed but the problem was present also before the update.

If I don't listen to music the phone is perfect, the issue never happen...

I tried to reproduce your problem, but everything is working fine here.
Maybe a factory reset will help?
I will try with factory reset. Every time happen when update available is coming on marketplace tiles during I'm playing mp3.

I also experienced this random time change two or three times since last November, both on auto or manual time setting. Didnt happen yet on NoDo, but thats only 2 weeks...
Well, NoDo was release yesterday for me. Update installed (Vodafone Italy). I'll testing this issue and report here. ;-)

Well, after a week I never seen again the date change issue (yet). It seems that NoDo solved the problem.
I'll report after another week.

Hi everyone,
Does anyone have heard about a fix for the N7 to be able to recognize adhoc networks ?
I can't even see the signal tethered from my android phone through barnacle.
Thanks in advance.

Just tried using barnacle after reading your post and it won't work from phone either. Haven't looked into this yet but I'm sure we just need to change the WPA supplement, possibly some custom Roms have this "fixed" but being this is the first time I've tried I haven't looked into it
when I get some free time I'll see what I can do and post back, otherwise hopefully someone else can chime in and let us know what's up

I can't get tethering to work on my Nexus 4 at all, not with USB, Bluetooth, or WiFi hotspot. When using the WiFi hotspot option my computer--Windows 7--hard crashes after logging into the Nexus 4. Very strange.
I am on T-Mobile as well but I get nothing, just a crash. USB and Bluetooth tethering do nothing at all.

call your service provider and ask them to activate tethering. my provider (orange UK) doesn't charge for this so it was no problem but yours may be different.
i used to tether with my old phone on the same account without issues. i think that something about the N4 alerts them to tethering so that they can block it.

I had the same problem but I figured it out. Here is a link to my post:

As per title really. Completley stock phone using a Tmobile uk sim.
Sim creates valid hotspots on other phones and other sim cards also are unable to share internet. Hotspot is created but any connecting devices report no internet.
The phone is a grey import, apparently from korea if that helps.
Everything else is working fine.
Really need to get it sorted as i use a tablet and qpair. Ive tried both qpair and standalone hotspots to no avail.
Any ideas? Ideally i dont want to root, or need to unroot after as i use apps like sky go that wont run if rooted.
Thanks
Anyone? Any suggestions?

Sounds like a hardware fault to me. Have you tried s factory reset? Other than that not sure there is much you can try.

Umm i sometimes have the same problem with my G2. If I don't have any security (as in no password and encryption) there's never a problem.

Seems like every hotspot app I download doesn't work. I'm rooted. On crickets network, so powered by at&t.

I use standard app embedded in my phone by default. I noticed, that for some mobile operators it does not work. I live in Europe and when I try Lycamobile it does not work or work very bad with many delays and interruption. When I insert to the same phone Vodafone simcard, it works perfect. In your case if you can try to use another sim card you can try. At Least you will know, if problem in your phone/software or at&t.
