Best place to buy transformer

So i want to buy the transformer today, and i was wondering where is the best place to buy? I am in the US, in IL, but because of the quality control issues, I want to be able to take it back if I have to. Also, price is an issue, as it seems to vary. A lot of places have it online, but do any stores carry it yet? As for online companies, they are ok, but it would be nice to at least have a store to return to if i need to..I guess another issue would be getting one of the newer models that might have fixed the power cord issues and some QC issues. I searched for an answer, but I didn't find anything really giving advice on where to buy, now that it is actually in stock in some places...thanks!

lol i hear ya...especially cook county...but amazon only has them for 453 right now? seems like the price keeps moving around...i have prime too so i would do it, but the extra 50 bucks kills it

Amazon charges sales tax here. Newegg does not.

I bought mine from Toys R Us on Wednesday for 399.99, plus they gave me a $25 dollar gift card that I used towards the purchase. I'm loving my Transformer so far! I just wish I could figure out how to Tether it with my Blackberry

I got mine in Fry's Burbank, CA. Have not run into any problems with it so far and have not seen and noticeable bleeding either.

Got mine at Newegg for $389 with no tax and free shipping by registering a new accounts and using the "newcustomer10" coupon. Not much of a savings but it was the best deal I could find until the TD one yesterday.
Newegg was also was willing to cross ship when I had to exchange my first Transformer due to some defects.

I bought my 32GB from Amazon. The 16GB was $50 more than the original price. I would recommend Best Buy.

Amazon always sell at retail price. The over-retail must have been a 3rd-party seller.
And yes, Amazon are definitely the best place to buy from now that the shortage is over. Amazing customer service and 30-day hassle-free return.

Psugtooq, are you saying that Newegg sent you a replacement before they received the damaged one back???

I ended up going with newegg...good call on the new customer code...i used it also...amazon had the 16gb 50 over and it was direct through them...i know its not normal but it was so....newegg has been good in the past and I heard alot of crap about td and their shipping...plus it was through ebay too and that can get interesting...great price though

Yep. After I sent back the defective one, I went into live chat and politely asked that Newegg send out a replacement immediately as I didn't want to have to wait 2 weeks for them to process the RMA and issue an exchange. The rep told me to call their customer service 1-800 number and ask for an "advanced replacement." I did so and a replacement was sent out the next day with their standard 3 day shipping (arrived in 2). Their was no additional charge, just the stipulation that my CC will be charged if the original isn't received within 30 days.

Do galaxy tabs go on sale?

I've already asked a similar question concerning the Asus transformer tablet and now I'm wondering if the same applies to the galaxy tab. Basically, what are the chances of a decent discount price in the next few weeks before I return home to NZ? I'm located in Manhattan at the moment.

In Canada, Either Best Buy or Futureshop had $100 off the Galaxy Tab 10.1 as well as many other tablets.

I guess nobody has purchased the $32Gb version? Am I the only one?

100$ for 16gigs of space? Rip off. They purposefully left the sdcard slot out to lure us into this cash cow just like apple. Samsung should know better. My phone has more gigs...and a faster, better processor at that! The tab still is the best honeycomb out there tho.

Consider it a "ripoff" if you want. For my thinking the only way to get the space is to buy it with the tablet. I'd rather spend $100 now than run short of space later.

My phone has 40GB of space. But, it doesn't have a Tegra2, and I doubt yours does as well.
However, the GTab 10.1 rocks, with Task's ROM. Who cares how much storage is local? Storage comes and goes. I have servers with 32GB of RAM and terabytes of disk. Yet 16GB onboard is more than sufficient for my tablet.

For even more savings the standard dock is $9.99 at Verizon Wireless corporate stores. The HD speaker dock is $19.99 but I haven't been able to locate one.

Lucky. None of the Staples near me carry the HD speaker dock. Only the standard dock.

The Canadian Staples stores also seem to be selling the accessories on sale but not as cheap.
The Charge dock, normally 49.99, I picked up for 14.97
I did find the car travel charger for 5 dollars in a clearance bin too.

I'm somewhat new to the "tablet" world. I bought a Xoom when it came out, needed the money so I sold it off. I'm an android fan (of course) and have the GSIII. Anyhoo, I have a chance to purchase a TF300T 32GB model today for $180. Is that a good deal? Is it worth me doing it?
I would appreciate any review/advice.

Go get it! And consider buying a key docking as well
Using this device for few weeks now and I really appreciate having it. Replaced my netbook and offers me so much more features to it. And as far as I know it's the only tablet that offers a key docking as well - which is really useful

Thanks for the input! Looking at keydocks now. Know of any good case/portfolio for it? I'm about to start browsing.

This one is a really good case for the TF300T, It can either be used with just the tablet or the tablet and dock. Nice and interchangeable

For that price, you need to get it ASAP! I paid $299 for my 32gb tf300t and $49.99 for a blue dock. I thought that was a very good price. $180 is a steal for a 32gb.

I bought it from Office Depot the day after Black Friday. I originally bought the 16gb from Best Buy for $279 but after reading here, I found that Office Depot had the 32gb for only $20 more so I took it back and went to Office Depot.

I was using a Tab S1 that I recently sold on ebay. I am now using a 8" Galaxy Tab A till I get my S3. I wish the Tab S3 came with an 8" size.
I ordered mine on 7/6/17 with the same more shipping 7-14 days message. When did you order yours? I think you and I got the same deal since yours cost $2 more. That deal was gone and came back as 497.99.

Ordered same, 7/6. Have heard nothing yet. Was using a Remix OS Tablet, just a little too large for my liking and travel. Sold mine on ebay as well.

I did the same and since they reduced the tab price 129 and charged full price on keyboard, I simply returned the keyboard and got the tab for 370.

I tried, but they wouldn't match it for me because B&H did not have it in stock. Apparently, they would only match items that are in atock at the time of the price match. Fortunately, it still works in my favor 'cause I gotnit with no tax or shipping fee.
