and FRX03 to FRX06 still having the same problem. once you off the wifi then it'll not on back. need to reboot the phone. it was rectify in Gingerbread GBX0A aka v2.3.x and some other ROM...
if you still wants to use FRX05 or latest FRX06, don't off the wifi but put it to sleep when the screen off. goto wifi and network, wifi setting, press menu and select advance and you set how the wifi sleep. do expect battery will drain a bit faster.

i've tried FRX05 the wifi giving error, now with FRX06 the wifi still giving error. i've change kernels from the autobuild still no luck.

i installed jellyblast ROM and my wifi was wworking great and nothing went wrong..Now i updated the rom to 3.0.4 and the wifi stopped working..When i connect it it ssays connecting and then disconnected it keeps repeating that ! i tried changing the advanced settings in wifi to "never" but that didnt work either...Can some please help me with this and can you explain in detail how to fix cuz im not really an expert on my galaxy y:crying::crying:???

first of all its your wifi router's problem!!!if you are using kuro krenel as default in JBv3 !!!if you are using white kernel then flash the wifi drivers !!!
and its a request stop making useless threads like this search button is provided by XDA not for show off use it ,it really solves all the problems!!!:silly

It's not anyone else's router problem.
It's a kernel problem. So, that kuro posted a fix for it.

Bro, my wifi is connecting with JBv3+ kuro kernel and as the OP of this post stated that his wifi was working with OTA 3 !!he was unable to connect to wifi when he flashed ota 4.1!!! connecting problem sometimes happens try switching on/off your router then try its not kuro kernel prob!!! :silly
I am on your side about the useless threads but still you could say it in a good manner.

router means in simple words which transmits the wifi signal!! are using laptop wifi then switch on/off your wifi of your laptop then try!

I am getting really woried now...none of the networks are even showing up anymore!when i connect it says "turning on" and then it starts scanning for networks but none are showing up!I tried "Add Wifi Network but it seems that ,that is not working either!I really need help , i cant have this phone be messed up cause i cant get another phone....HELP PLEASE!!!:crying::crying:

dont worrie flash back to stock rom via ODIN!!
download stock rom of your region and flash read this thread carefully every post and each word link:---> http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1465800
any problem ask me via message !! now i'am going to sleep, if you don't get it what is stock rom etc search it on XDA !!! don't flash untill you know !!

Thanks for the help ! I kind of did something and the networks are back!Now its just the other problem , Wifi keeps saying "connecting" ..."disconnected"
does anybody know how i could fix it withoout flashing stock rom? it works if i change the settings in no frills cpu ctrl but i have to change a settings a few times and then it works..but its really annoying

try flashing your baseband via odin!

MY SAMSUNG GALAXY Y was turn off automatically while using internet on it ...... and after i turn on the phone battery indicates 0 % battery

After I switch to wifi-mode or deactivate 3g/data access i can't connect anymore to the mobile network. The "H" or "3g" icon appear, but no one app or browser can really connect. If i reboot it work fine again...
Any solution?

Actually, sir if you deactive data access of course you can't connect to internet
And are you sure you're connect to one of the Wi-Fi hotspot??

May be, but i flashed just yesterday and I want to know if there is another solution to this problem...
This is one problem on the rom, i think is on the build.prop because and when bielt give him rom cm7 has the same problem and than him update it again .
Sure, I've just re-flashed and the problem is still there on the "clean" rom. Is there any solution?

Ask the the developers to fix this issue. It may be a bug in the ROM or something else
It is best to back to Stock ROM and Stock kernel

i fixed the problem by turnng the location on !!!

Wish it was that easy for me! Did you notice it again later? Was there something else you noticed that may have gotten it to work/not work? I'm running out of ideas and I like this ROM... I don't want to go back to stock if everything else works just fine.

There is 3 Way To Fix That ! :
Flash The Rio Kernel Then Test it
if It Not Fixed When u Want to connect ! Go To Advance And Set IP To Static ! Then Get This IP 192.168.1.128 !
again it will not fixed reset Your Wifi Modem And Set It Up Again ! :good:
