Kernel help - G2 and Desire Z General

I just downloaded CM7 and have attempted to flash several kernels to fix the rapid batt drain. Every kernel that I have flashed, when its time to reboot, the HTC screen loads and just stops. PLZ help

If you want camera, yes.
Please flash the kernel from the recover any not with an sbf! The battery fixes are also different.

This is just what title says... Testimony to Master Tytungs work.
As you guys can see from the attachments, my secondary/backup phone HD2 was and still is working for 30 days non stop without restarting.

Is this considered normal lollipop battery life?

I'm using Alexander stock rooted lollipop rom and ael kernel and I don't know if it's just me but ever since updating to lollipop it really does seem like my battery has gone to ****
