[Rom] Liquid E Mod v1.6 [06/27/2010]

This Rom is based on the Acer_LiquidE_1.100.15 AAP
also the theme is custom - by me - using icons from other HDPI roms to match my MDPI theme
also many of the rooted and busybox is based piter and/or vache
Now this is my first rom for liquid - I wanted to make a rom that looked and felt similiar to my own build for 32a and 32b HTC magics - and thanks to vaches theme I have succeeded pretty well I think
Instructions (should you need these?) : Flash .zip using malez recovery - make sure to wipe data
edit : the clock in my screenshots is paid app beautiful widgets

Hi alan... i've finally got my liquid... i had 1.6 donut as i suspected but... is rooted now I've installed the lcr 1.6 rom I've tried to install usb and wireless tether and I get something like "your kernel does not support this". Is there any update zip for doing this so I could use things properly as I used to do on my old Magic?
I'ts a cool device... the Snapdragon does the job I've read one of your earlier posts and you said that your Liquid E has 512 ram mem? :O On gsmarena.com specs says it has only half of that and the only difference between Liquid & Liquid E is the "E"... the Eclair
Looking fw to using a Cyanogen mod rom on this device... untill then lcr 1.6 (soon 1.7 that looks pretty cool).

Nice to see new active member in Liquid community, maybe you can share your mod on modaco, so more people will enjoy it?

Regarding tethering.... Need to wait for kernel sources first before that can be possible. At the moment the leaked acer kernel should work for most things. With source we will see both oc + tethering

musicmod 1.6 is included with this rom

Thanks. Your rom looks great but I wish you used an Acer Stream port to put it over.
Once you go Dolby Mobile equalizer, you can't go back. Sound quality for audio without it is not very good.

im not a fan of having the status bar at the bottom or stream in general...
will include audio boost files in next release though...

Yeah I don't like that UI either but it can be turned off (at least it can in Vache's Stream port. Settings-->Applications-->User Interface)

mine is pretty fast compared to anything ive had on an htc magic

gps does not work it seems on the liquid E
will rebase off the rogers version when i get a nandroid of that rom

Ladies and Gentlemen. I present you to the labor of weeks of tweaking and research. Froyo 2.2.1 for the HD2 in as perfect as can be working order. It is based of "stock" Defrost by RichardTrip.
You likely voided your warranty long ago. So if your phone explodes.... not it.
No i'm not a "dev", yes this is easy, sharing is caring.

Other folks have confirmed this working with the latest VBN ROM - found HERE and the 2.15 radio. Please be sure you delete you android folder entirely and don't try to use a data.img from an old build.
*POST BOOT SETUP:
*If after syncing with your google account reboot (other wise root apps won't work)
*Some folks have reported corruption on this build from using titanium backup.
*Download spare parts from the market and install spare parts. Set all transition animations to FAST
*To achieve the "theme" use the builtin file manager to install LauncherPro-Biffmod.apk in the APK folder on your sd card.
*To get the gray bar got to settings > cyanogenmod settings > user interface > tweaks extras and select cmthemebiff
Recommend SetCpu settings. 806mhz Max / 245mhz Min. One profile - screen off 245/245

[Q] Can't download SleeperROM file! Any help?

On the SleeperROM thread in the Development Forum when I click the link to download "Full Featured 1.0.11 - CLEAN SLATE" or "Slim Essentials 1.0.11 - CLEAN SLATE" it opens a new page that just says "invalid file". I currently have the old SleeperROM and would really like to update to this new one. Any fixes? Or could someone address this in the SleeperROM thread since I don't have enough posts to bring it up there.

2.For who has prob with responsive touchscreen (thank to amrith.28)
Ask: too bad the touchscreen is too responsive just like other custom roms... any solution?
Solution: touchscreen is probably related to kernel use CF-Root b82-ex and there is no touchscreen problems. (PS - i had same issue on Ketut's BlackHawk DXKT5 and he told me to use b82-ex)
after that whenever a rom gives me touchscreen issues, i flash cf-root b82ex and its all fine!

one of the best rom for longest battery life, i think
i've used myth ICS beta 2 (previous version of themyth rom) for more than 2 days if turned off auto sync, gps, background data, used 2g instead of 3g, minimize brightness

no need, flash it via CWM if you're using gingerbread 2.3.* after wipe data/factory reset
but recommend you go back to clean stock for stability and avoiding unexpected errors

in my opinion, i think battery life of myth rom absolutely better than cm7 roms
of course using 3g can make battery drains quickly :-s
