The t959 is the Vibe. Is this official support from China or did one of our great devs join the team?
Sent from my SGH-T959 using XDA App
It looks like it's officially being supported. This means we may get a fully functional MIUI.
oh wow. didnt see this coming. might try it out once its released to see what all the fuss is about MIUI.
MIUI is definitely worth a shot. very fast and has a ton of cool features built in.

I've heard a lot of good things about it. Now all I have to do is wait until a stable build in released with possibly everything working (it would be HEAVENLY), and then we've got a permanent ROM.
I've been itching to try this, this news just makes it whole lot better. guess I'll wait for a final stable build before I jump ship.
wow, thanks for the info bro!
This is good news!
Been running MIUI preview release and it is Sexy. Really smooth and you just got to love the gingerbread animations. So this is Great News to see that our phone is on their Supported List.
This is GREAT! Well I'm already using miui, but still
very good news indeed !!!

I enjoy the fact that you guys go against the grain. Everyone was on the ginger kick and you guys came out with a solid, yet different roms.
I think your team proved that sometimes less is more.

And guess what? Even before these suggestions, his EDT release in the works was..
A KA6 Aosp / Vanilla!
From what I understand, we should have it tested and he will be releasing it probably late tonight or tomorrow!

Hello everyone, I was just wondering about how long, if ever, the sense 3.0 port will be fully operational without bugs. I know it has just begun but I love it so much, I want to know what I can look forward to. Thanks in advance for any response.

Tomorrow, it will be totally operational tomorrow.
Or, it'll be ready when it's ready. These things take time. You'd need to ask a developer who's working on one. If you want to help out, it could be operational sooner vs later.
First rule of Development, don't ask for an ETA.

That's pretty much it, the lockscreen is the "big deal". Personally I think HTC could have upped their game a bit more with sense 3.0, but I'm not really a fan of their UI anyway. For such a big player in the phone game I guess its just seems a bit underwhelming, mainly cosmetic things without adding any real (new) functionality.

I like what Samsung is doing. Hopefully they'll do it with SG3s next summer or whenever they come out. That's when I'll be able to upgrade.
If they start to have CM come stock on their phones, itll be pretty beast and fast. Cm is far better then any bloated stock rom on a phone. Them lucky devs!

At the very least, it'll be a good holdover until CM9.

dead development? Sam Cripp is uploading some updated fruit cakes, CM7 just got fingerprint scanner working, Starrwarrior just got HDMI Mirroring working in landscape mode, Diviance is constantly updating Aura, Nottach is constantly updating Darkside, and Faux is working on getting bugs out of his kernel before releasing a new version of it.
we may not have a huge development community like other phones, but it's certainly not dead.

Actually TDJ and RK have resumed development of that port. Not sure why since Capy is now developing his original ROM for the MT4G.
CM9 will be brought to the MT4G and I highly doubt we'll see any decent ICS ROMs before then.
Yea i saw that. The only thing making that rom perfect is the ffc being upside down, which is an issue in all 3.5 roms ive ran across at least in my experience. But im sure ics will be awesome once it comes, cyan expects it being about 2 months before we see anything cm9 released.

I am working on Sense 3.5 Rom, ICS Rom (built from source), and a CM7-Hybrid Rom. Besides that I am hanging in there. Thanks for the Mod. What are you up to?
