Hi guys. First sorry for my bad English. Now my problem. I have installed this ROM and I want to install theme that is posted in that theme (Gingerbread Theme by Manny). I just don't know how to install it. Do i use "install update.zip from sdcard" option or "install custom zip"?
Tnx
install custom zip if you will use install update.zip it won't find it. Only if you will rename it to update.zip and than put to root of sd card
Tnx it is working

i am trying to get the circle battery for Frankinstine's Droid S v1.2 port for eu version HD2. I've read around the forum and it said to flash via CWR so am i supposed to choose "install zip from sdcard" or "choose update from sdcard?"
Go to :
http://uot.dakra.lt/
and make your own framework-res.apk
Then "install zip from sdcard"
if that fails look at LittleH79 post in :
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?p=12165271&highlight=kitchen#post12165271

thanks but frankinstine already has the mod for download with two folders, META-INF and sd-ext which has framework-res.apk in it so do i just install zip from sd?
In which case yes .If the framework-res.apk is for a new % taskbar battery, then
Install the zip from :
"install zip from sdcard"

Hi
Two days ago I installed Aura Rom, and it is fine because it supports my language (Arabic) and it works well. The problem with messaging (SMS) (MMS not tested) when I receive sms message, it comes twice as you see attachment please.
Can any body help me to solve this issue
Thanks
Responded to your PM. Also, I forgot to mention, if you have Root Explorer you can go into the system folder and delete either conversations.apk or mms.apk (conversations is blur, mms is aosp) to get rid of one. I am fixing this problem in 1.1.3.
Thank you so much
Sorry I don't have Root Explorer. but I see Rom Manager!!
Here is how I install your rom:
1- download your rom to my sdcard
2- entering to the recovery
3-Install zip from sdcard
4- select Aura zip file
5- yes
6- reboot
that all, is it correct method?????

Yes. Though, versions other than tenfar's or romracer's recovery will not actually perform a wipe.
I've done root with srs root-root and install cwm-recovery via update.zip, after that I tried most costum rom from version 2.3 to 4.0, but all I'm trying to costum rom can not boot up normally in my device, what causes all costum rom can not boot in galaxy-y,
I also do a partition on sd-card via cwm, and also pay attention to exactly how to install the costum rom to flash the kernel, but still all the costume rom will not boot
either you are a using the wrong kernel eg stock based roms require a stock based kernel and cm roms require a cm kernel and for you to format your system to ext
also make sure you mount system before flashing a rom
if you use the cm common kernel you need to unmount system and remount system before flashing the zip

Try to flash via odin before you flash the rom . And remmember to mount everything before flashing and wipe anything THX
i have installed kernel CM7 totoro, from this forum, and install CM7 stable for my device, not boot,i think for permanent CWM or other costum Recovery for this device

like I said for cm7 you need to format your system to ext either using percys kernel or the ext converter tool
you also need to unmount system in cwm and remount system twice before flashing the rom zip
you can follow my instructions

use winrar or another unzip prog to open the rom zip
you will notice a folder there called meta.inf
delete it
copy the meta.inf from the attachment in the other post and place it in the rom zip
you can do it on your phone if you dont have a pc
just use zarchiver app to unzip the rom zip and replace the meta.inf folder then use the app again to rezip it
