Is there any chance to get the camera in this rom working???
--> I´ve tried to replace the Camera lib´s with the working Cyanogen Camera lib´s, but the result is the same, as before!
Cyanogen is Android 2.3 and TatFroyoSense is 2.2!
Should i replace the Camera.apk as well or what must i do, to get this working?

Let me answer this thread too, it might help someone coming through a search engine You can find the solution in the below threads. You can use the Camera.app and libs from Fyodor's AOSP v0.33, since it's also Android 2.2.

Yay! Dexter has actually released a patch for his ROM, so you can use the original TatFroyoSense v0.4 now This ROM has a full Sense UI and uses the original HTC Camera app:

I post it here, because unfortunately i can not post in the developers-section!
The "official" patch from Dexter is not fully working!!! When i try to make a pic, the screen turns black, nothing happens and no image is saved.
When i start the camcorder app extra, it´s shows preview and i can record everything, but when is stop the record, it´s the same as above!
Now, i try another Camera app or the "unofficial"-patch from tolgainci and test it out....
I tried Dexter's Camera fix and the Still Camera worked fine with the original HTC camera app. But you can try my alternative method as well, that also works. Here's my post in Dexter's thread:

Because I cannot see any post from "guru" ABC. from whom the original Screen Rotate Service Idea came from.
And for the sake of others who may want to try this on their XDA 2.
Im posting the files for download, this was the 10/29 update.

1. SRS will display under your settings, if installed properly, it will run correctly, if not, it will ask you to reinstall.
2. For those who have trouble running their camera after installing the SRS, i suggest you upgrade your camera version to 2.5 from 2.01.
posted is the camera2.5 upgrade.
Are you running SRS on ROM 1.60 ? Does it work?

I have try to replace the Camera.apk and libcamera.so、libcamera_client.so、libcameraservice.so、liboemcamera.so、libOmxCore.so、libOmxVdec.so、libOmxVidEnc.so.
but,it doesn't work.

Stock camera drivers from CM6.1 cannot work with HD2.
You may try the camera driver from any working builds.

The drivers in HD2ONE can make the Camera.apk from MIUI work in MIUI ROM,
but can't make the Camera.apk from CM6.1 work !

Probably because that Camera relies on some CM6.1-specific frameworks.

FM radio on Tattoo is not supported. There is no custom ROM based on Android 2.x with FM radio functionality. The only possibility is to stay with the stock ROM (on Android 1.6) but this is not your case.
The same with Camera app which is not fully working as well. We have a solution which is nearlly finished but still there is missing functionality (Picture preview).
Somebody was working on it (pisaro), but the thread is not in the devs forum...so no many people can help, but he did a great progress.

Do you want Stock Android with working camera/camcorder. Then download this Chinese rom. You need to install Nova launcher (market app) and twiddle with a few settings to make any remaining Chinese txt English. Works well, do a nand backup and try for yourself.

I have installed a gsi ROM ( PixelDust ) but a major problem is that it doesn't have a camera pre- installed or have Gcam support... So I currently have a nokia camera port installed but wanted to have the normal stock camera installed if possible...
So if somebody knows how to please tell....

gcam is not working with full functionality in any gsi roms right now. night sight is crashing in all roms, few doesn't even support hdr or post blurring adjustment etc.
KK...I switched back to colorOS for now cause I use camera alot so...but will keep a eye out for a room with camera working...Thank you?
