I've been trying to get SPB Mobile Shell Beta 5 to work on the cell for a while now. I've been through around 7 different ROMs and none of them seem to solve the problem. I can tell it is possible because someone is running it here: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=EydKXankMW0 and it looks like android. I know I cant (and you cant) post links of the program because it is illegal, but it IS legal to talk about it.
So basically, has anyone gotten SPB Mobile Shell 5 to work on their HTC HD2?

Currently, SPB Mobile Shell 3 is developping well, a thread is about all tricks is available HERE
But, as you can see, there is still some lack of usefull things... like Album viewer, Music player incorporated... I remarked there were an easy way to go back to the TODAY place...
That's why i am asking you this question:
What program is for the best to run with SPB Mobile Shell 3?
#1 Win 6.5 Titanium, which ROM and why?
#2 Win 6.5 Titanium, using WM 7 project
#3 Win 6.1, new start menu, which rom and why ?
#4 Win 6.1, old start menu, which rom and why?
#5 ROM isn't important, just configure well the today, explain it to us!
#6 SPB Mobile Shell is perfect for me.
Sorry if this is a dumb question but you can't really use the titanium plugin with Mobile Shell 3 since they both take over the today screen so I'm not sure I follow the poll..
Personally I use Mobile Shell with WM6.5 and have mobile shell overwrite start menu.
I still think Manilla2d is better but am still testing out mobile shell for the time being.
I tested SPB MS 3 on my Diamond with:
new Startmenu(Topaz)
TF3D
TodayAgenda on today
TFDetacher
I found it quite good to have all these three things running, but due to the LARGE memory footprint i banned SPB MS.
If there was an option to disable several pages to free up some ram (e.g. favourites carousel is quite redundant and just to show off, not to use), I might get back.
Also the lack of the former lock screen (Password lock overlay) was quite frustrating.
i'm curious about all the different gui mods. i think there should be a thread dedicated to that but can't find one. the gui mods i'm talking about are ones such as spb mobile shell. what other ones are out there. i've tried a few but there's bound to be more
SPB mobile shell really is amazing. I have a cracked version of the latest one if anyone wants it. The pocket plus is also very handy but its really nothing that a few registry hacks and tweaks can't solve.
SPB Shell tries to eliminate the use of having to use the stylus - a problem with windows mobiles.
i just installed it earlier today and its pretty cool. though at some parts its kinda laggy but it is still great. i noticed that i cant get to the 3d message viewer from the home screen... i have to go through launcher and all that to get to it. is there away to set it to where i can i get it from the homescreen? also is there any other features to use on spb mobile shell?? trying to learn more about it . thanks in advance!

I have always used the SPB UI. I love it. I can change everything it. I would sugest you try it.

People who know of me would trust my opinion, because I am a huge supporter and deeply involved with SPB and their software, however, I think you should stick with the trial only. I have rights to the software, but I don't have it installed anymore. I first tried it out, but I just didn't find that it was able to replace everything that Flo3D had to offer. Definitely use the trial for the full time period before purchasing.

does anyone know how to get RAS mobile software to work on a htc leo with spb shell installed?
the software runs fine with the defalt htc browser but when i try to use it on the sbp shell i get an error message
this software is for viewing cctv cameras remotely on a mobile phone.
I know it's a long shot that anyone can answer this.

Latest version on WM is 3.5
when you lock youtube
SPB Mobile Shell 5.0 on Windows Mobile
you can see it give SPB 5.0 on WM
On youtube is a lot of things Latest version on WM is 3.5

Looks like they're mostly trying to shop it around to the device vendors / cell providers, rather than direct sales to end-users.
