Brother I had the same problem yesterday and the pc didnt even detect the lg g2.... The thing is just do like I did listen carefully.
1 / Download LGMobile Support tool and install it quickly
2/ Open that program and click on install drivers ( when drivers are installed just go to the right top corner you will find an " OPTION ' click on it >>> And then click on upgrade recovery and do the process it says until it downloads and finishes )
3/ Go to the phone and enter Dload mode by pressing one the volume UP button and plug the usb cable directly to your device
4/ When the process will be finished you will have your phone healthy ))) and please do not unplug the lg g2 during the process
Hi guys, is the download mode available on this mobile (X240AR)? If so, what would be the button combination? I have tried with Volume up and plug the USB but it enters a state where it gives me to choose if I want to boot recovery, fastboot or normal boot.
Maybe X240AR is the same as X240H to enter download mode.
Thank you very much.

I need the same I have tried all the combinations that have occurred to me but I can not enter the download mode and the Flash Tool marks me error (5054 and 2004) which program are you using?
What do you want to do, your friend? In some forums they say it's with Volume - and connect to USB.

I answered you on the other thread. In my case it "would be possible" to do dumps or flashes with SP Flash Tool but what I was trying to do was do the same but with LGUp to compare the dumps, I think "would have" the files that I need to test, I just have to put the phone in download mode to try.
I purchased the sm-t397u from ebay, but the seller did not tell me the Tablet is MDM locked. There was no return warning and I am trying to ship it back but so far it's a no go.
The tablet get's to a screen to enter a PIN with a message "this devices is managed by your organization". So obviously MDM is enabled.
I can boot into recovery mode via home+volume up + power but can't do factory reset - MDM prevents that.
Download mode is "disabled as well" - volume down + power only gets me to the Enter PIN screen again. So I was not able to try Odin + combination file
Is there anyway to recovery this or is it a brick? Seems I should be able to put files on microSD and read from recovery and/or possibly ADB (so far the USB connection has not worked, but I had Huawei drivers installed and need to try on a different laptop with clean Windows and Samsung USB only)
Thank you
OK, no money back but made some progress. I can now boot into the kiosk mode and can get ADB working. But still unable to remove the KNOX MDM enrollment - I can boot, do the setup it will kick in and I end up in kiosk mode.
Factory reset from the recovery mode is now possible, but it did not help.
Need some additional ideas please.
Thank you!
Hi.I have the same situation for a while.I saw a solution by rewriting the bootloader via jtag pins but seems too complicated and i lack the tools for that. How did you manage to enable kiosk mode ? did you manage to do something beyond that ?
As the title suggests, I can't find a way to check my bootloader status.
I have an I9100 that I bought a couple days ago, used.
I tried the number dial one, where you dial *#*#7378423#*#* but that doesn't work.
I want to try the one where you use adb, but the down button doesn't work, thus I can't boot into fastboot mode.
I found some sites saying typing "adb reboot-bootloader/adb reboot bootloader" does that, but it just boots me back into the normal OS.
I have used Framaroot with the bottom option if that helps.
If stock then download Samsung info app from playstore. The icon is a green android
You don't need to check the status of the bootloader, or unlock it, it's "already unlocked". Fastboot is also not a thing on this device. We have download mode instead. Just install whatever you need to using download mode and Odin or Heimdall.
Edit: I see you've mentioned that the volume down button doesn't work. No idea how to boot into download mode otherwise.
Hello, I would like to unlock the bootloader of my a40 but the volume button (-) doesn't work well anymore, so I can't enter the unlock mode. Is there any other way to enter this mode or to unlock it ? (I can enter in download mode)
Thank you.
Sorry, no, get it repaired, well i dont think its possible, maybe some adb commands can work but idk

Of course you can with adb tools, and your phone conected to computer with usb cable, and usb debugging activated in settings. Most of adb tools have reset to recovery, reset to bootloader, and more options, you can do the same mannually with adb console, included if you instal a terminal in your phone i think is possible to restart to bootloader.
