[BOOTANIMATION] Sense LWP like! (MUST HAVE) - Desire Themes and Apps

Hello
Some1 made Q-thread about fancy Sense LWP like bootanimation. I was wondering how to extract images from LWP apk. Uncle Google didn't helped . I think it's impossible to get those images from apk. But in some way I get full animation It will be my sweet mystery how I do that. It was quite simple but sneaky.
I've made few versions. The clear one is most smooth coz I could resize images and stretch them in phone without losing sharpness. Also I couldn't make it as slow as LWP because of smooth but it still looks great IMO. You can try to change fps value. So, after long hours of work here it is:
(of course it's moving like original LWP)
v1.0-SenseClear
v1.0-SenseWhiteSimple
v1.0-SenseWhite
v1.0-SenseBlack
v1.0-SenseGlossy
*****************************************************
DOWNLOAD: (rename it to bootanimation.zip and push as you like)
SenseClear
SenseWhiteSimple
SenseWhite
SenseBlack
SenseGlossy
*****************************************************
I'll support it as long as It's necessary...

I did a side by side comparison of the before and after optimization of an AOSP rom. So if you look the total zip file is bigger by about 13-14 kb.... but if you dig into the rom and look at framework-res.apk from the original compared to the optoed one you see that size is:
org = 2,002,965
opto = 1,929,183
diff = 73,782 bytes or 72.05 kb
and if you look at the system/app folder sizes and compare them:
org = 10,184,892
opto = 10,039,213
diff = 145,679 bytes or 142.2 kb
Final difference of .20 megabytes!!!! on a rom that was already optimized.
So I think that the size in the final rom ends up bigger because I also zip align the final rom, I actually don't think this is needed and thats why AOSP rom goes from 47,587 kb to 47,600 kb since the zipalign actually align the zips so that that bytes are in 4 bit blocks.
So the theme/rom optimizer worked so well it inspired LiquidSolstice to do this

Good for you man, hope your donate button gets lots of pushes! Should passify the wife for a bit, why is it they hate XDA so much? You should take a shot at the mego rom with your script, we need something new!

I think I'll download gimp and play around with the desk clock themer. I don't know what I'm doing, but that seems a good place to start on learning to theme on Android. Any suggestions are welcomed. Thanks!

Hey asimmons, thanks for all you've done! The heroc forum is better because you're in it! I use and love your ported r2d2 boot. I have a question/request - there is a dev who posted this app http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=857065 and it only seems to work on some devices, which seem to be mostly hdpi. Since you seem to be a porting wizard for mdpi, can you take a look at this thing and help the dude get it to work, which would in turn help my needy douche-like self Anyway if you never do it of course I'll live, I expect literally nothing of you. Thanks again for the boot, and your various other great works!

[Q] Does your HTC Flipclock actually flips?

I've read some about it and that's way i've taken interest in it and found out that my rooted wildfire stocked 2.1 flipclock doesn't actually flip. But to others they say it flips.
What about your wildfire?
Mine doesn't flip. ):
This is because wildfire don't support animation..
Great
And no lwp too

Still the clock doesn't flip though?
I'd say it has to dow ith the ROM itself. When I first got my Wildfire, it was running the Vodafone 1.25.something. When I started mucking with it and flashed to the stock 1.37.405, the clock no longer flipped.
Clock doesn't flip because htc does not allow in sense ui 2,0 but new htc sense ui (Desire HD) support it again...I hope you undersud me..sorry about my bad english.
Just checked FW 1.37
Animations enabled but it just changes the number, no flipping at all.
Been wondering about this as well, nice with some clarification.
would be nice to see, if someone could make it, port it or however that works.
My desire or wildfires 'flip clocks' don't flip either
Are there any work-around to make it flip?
tried messing around with the zip file from thatdudebutch who ported the htc flipclock from desireHD, and flashed it on my wildfire. The clock actually flipped, but since it's a different resolution, therefore it's too big and messed up. Dunno how to convert it into a lower resolution, anyone interested in porting it into our wildfire?
would love to ... but I cant code!

[Help] Port Honeycomb Wave Lockscreen

I was wondering if someone with a bit more experience could help me out? This may not be possible till source is out but hey no hurt in trying. If so when source is available then I will know where the files I need are located.
Here's what I found in my research so far...
I see a keyguard_screen_tab_unlock.xml and keyguard_screen_tab_unlock_land.xml that are used in framework-res.apk as well as the 4 holo drawable's.
Then I found the WaveView.smali files in framework.jar widget folder.
Also in android.policy.jar impl folder is LockScreen$WaveViewMethods.smali.
Here is a link to the files I pulled out - http://bit.ly/fJpF6V
Any help would be awesome, again I have no clue if this is possible?
If the Honeycomb lockscreen could be ported to phones it would be genuinely amazing!

Galaxy Note Modded To The Max!!!

Hey guys! I think i've customized to the limit here. This is just a quick video building on (or in addition to) my last 3D UI video
The main thing I want to put across is my "dynamic clock" idea. Basically, when you unlock your phone to glance at the time, you're greeted with a live wallpaper but on a fully transparent locksceen that changes with the time of day IN REAL TIME but yea, you'll see what I mean in the video
The rest of the vid is just for FUN.
Enjoy folks

I'll probably explain the clock in greater detail in a tute if people want it.

Certain peeps are having flashing problems due to the size of the system partition. 7-zip that zip and remove unnecessary **** like live wallpapers apks and/or boot animation in system/media. Results may vary
Root Explorer is another way to slowly do it. Extract the zip and remove system apks and BA
It flashed fine for me. But when i change ROMs i a lease format system do a wipe data factory reset and wipe cache's

FYI, gapps are included already in the zip so no need to flash a gapps.zip
What's so unique about it?
I can't seem to get away from Slim
