First there is no need for you to post twice.
Second this is the T959 section the T959v section is HERE you will likely have better luck finding your answer there.
Third. in general if you want help you need to be much more descriptive on how you lost your IMEI or what exactly is wrong with it.
Fourth http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=879189&highlight=IMEI 2 seconds of searching found this.

+1 If you want help please provide the narrative on how you got the phone in the condition it is now.
Also, try googling how to restore an imei and try different variants of the query. Just supposing we will ALL be psychic and totally understand you problem..... is foolish..........

Bricked Wing(Files to Unbrick)

Ok I don't have the files but I thought it would be a good thread for all the "Wing" users. So if you have the Unbricking files and maybe a guide either post it here and maybe they will sticky it or make your own thread. if you think it's a good Idea then vote....Oh and I know I call no shots here but I figured this was a best way to let people know about this"gulp" I hope I don't get flamed for this oh btw I myself am not requesting help *Yet* But I read a few posts....I mean alot of posts about Bricking and help me do this or help me unbrick that and I also think that itje and alot of other members would Enjoy not being harassed to help some random person out. But these are just my thoughts
bricking your phone is too easy to fix. I personally did not know what i was doing when i tried a different rom, and bricked my phone but it was a fool proof way to unbrick it.. all you have to do if put your phone in bootleger mode and run the original rom from your computer... unbricking for dummies is all it is
I understand that lol it is easier then the psp but I mean for a person that doesn't know anything about this they would ask "Where do I go to Get that file?" This is a site I found on this board and sorry I don't remember who posted it if not I would give credit CLICK HERE FOR OFFICIAL RUU UPGRADES and if your on vista this can help...Oh btw I also don't know who posted it or else I would give credit IF YOU ARE USING VISTA CHECK HERE FOR HELP
also THANKS to whoever posted those links and I am just posting them here to help
With all due respect, the unbricking process is explained in the "Newbs guide to modding" thread stickied to this forum, and there is a link provided to the stock RUU.
Cheers!

Yes and that is where I looked for my information but I can imagine that if somebody bricks their phone they would panic and wouldn't think straight so they wouldn't look into modding it more hence they wouldn't search "Newbs guide to modding" they would search "Brick","Unbrick" but since it is mentioned in here now *Thanks to you* they will be redirected to that thread and find their answer so YAY for all ,,,,No more harrasment to senior members and no more bricked phones to ....Noobs

Do a member search for BTDAG,..... then check his threads. It is called something like Noob guide to rooting and will also be in the development section.

Want to install Darky's ROM but i have NO idea how to do it. Please HELP?!?!?!

Hi guys, i have a Galaxy S i9000M(canada) and i want to install Darky's ROM on my phone but i have NO IDEA to where even start. My phone is totally in stock condition right now and i want to get the ROM so can you please give me a link to any step by step tutorial or tell me how to do it please?
thanks in advance.
nobody? oh cmon please help i wanna do it so badly
Go to darky's thread and the instructions are there in the first post. Check the REF in the general section. There are so many guides. You should search before asking as you need to learn a lot before you can flash the rom.

I'm assuming this is the thread you've read?

Go back and read the entire first post again. Then click on about every link in that post and read or watch them. Now I'm not trying to sound rude here, but if you're not sure what you're doing after all that then I suggest not doing it. But everything you need is in there, as it's where I started and I followed the directions in that thread very carefully, and to the letter.
Dont know how to search cannot find a post in a rush not going to bother reading the FAQS .
1/100 on he bricks his phone .

Hope this helps
First make sure your phone is rooted with superoneclick.

heres a link with everything else you'll need.
A Good tip is always do a lot reading before flashing roms and make sure you have everything you need i case you get stuck. i have had to get help a couple of times myself. And one other thing i would suggest is always have a stock firmware saved to your pc in case you encounter any problems. you can get stck firmwares from here:

I've been using darkys rom 9.3 with steel blue theme for the past week now and its amazing.
Best of luck.

Maybe you should read the Noob Guide sticker in the Q&A section. That would be the best place to start.

Odin file request

I have searched the forums and cant seem to find a faster link to the MDL Odin software for the AT&T Samsung Galaxy S4 . I found one link but its taking an estimated 5 hours to complete . Does anyone have the actual MDL Odin zip for the S4 they can send that might be faster . Thanks in advanced for any help . Or would checking for a software update from MDB update me to MDL ?

Currently downloading from Sammobile
There should be a link or two in the Odin Firmware thread created by Adam Outler, located in the Development or original development sections.

Unless Adam Outler's file names are incorrect they all say MDB

scroll down to the bottom where you enter the required code (in order to ensure you're not a robot) and start the download. not sure if it will download faster but its worth a shot. cheers
The problem is that its a huge file...and most download servers seem to cap download speeds pretty low now a days :/ even if you have fast internet. I miss the days when an odin file/stock rom was only 200-300mbs...I used to have TONS of roms sitting on my phone

For future reference, you might want to actually start reading threads in their entirety and not just skimming over the OP. Especially when you are looking for help with issues. Often, people will post the information you need within the thread and not just in the OP.
Using the "search" function within individual threads works well also.

I spend a better part of the day doing various searches utilizing "Odin" and "MDL" as well as other keyword searches on XDA as well as outside this site . I appreciate the "Advice" but I generally don't ask for help unless I can't find it on my own .

That's all good, but I told you "exactly" which thread to look in to find the file you needed. Basically, you responded back to me that the file was not there or was named wrong (though not in those exact words). In fact, the links to the file were there and were named and identified correctly. It's your choice to only take the time to look in the OP of a thread when help is offered, but others might want that file as well, and saying it isn't there when it was needed to be corrected. That is one reason I responded back to you.
I don't ask for help often either. I use the search function and look through threads for answers all of the time as well. However, when I do ask for help and someone responds, I always make sure to take extra time to research the help and advice they give me before responding that they are wrong. That was another reason for the response to your response.
Anyway, hopefully you got what you needed.
