Uk hd2 with extended battery

A little help please. Currently running darkstone froyo with michyprimas kernal. Everything's fine but a little dated.
After a more current build with a stable kernal for extended battery. Everything i've tried either crashes or reboots due to battery.
Could somebody please point me in direction of a current build/kernal that works with extended battery.
Happy to frig about with wifi drivers etc but found searching was getting cluttered results and as it takes an hour to download, build and test each time hoped somebody would be kind enough to offer a workable solution.
If i stumble across any info will share!.
Thanks

I´m waiting for my extended battery I´ve just bought in Ebay, doing a little investigation of which kernel should work with this type of battery, found that there are at least two known kernels that support: hastarin 7.7 and michyprima r11. I´ve downloaded these three for testing:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=812465&highlight=extended
and
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=769026&highlight=Mdeejay+eVo+Sense
and

If you can test, please tell me how it was.
My ext batt will be in my hands in 15 days

hi chaps,
sorry for delay in replying. Have returned back to problem and am happy to report that MDJ_FroYo_HD_v._4.0_MDJ_S7.3HD works like a treat with extended battery.

It's usually the kernel not the build itself that support/doesn't support extended battery. You should read the change log for the kernels to see if extended battery support has been added. So before you change your builds, take a look at the changelogs for the kernels to make sure your extended battery is supported

[ Q ] Desire HD ROM for HD2 with *best* Battery Life ?

Thx,
Ben
i use this build:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=908528

As far as I am concerned, I removed this rom because I had excessive battery drain with it (empty battery during the night without any use) and changed to this rom :
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=926507
and I am particularly pleased with this one

Strange, i have max 5% overnight. Really can't understand how the same phone with the same build has so different results. Maybe radio version or sd card?
@OP
As the above 3 posts prove, there is no *best*. You have try a few for yourself and find out which works best for you. Besides, it's good practice at flashing new ROMs and gives you more exposure to what's available.
Good luck

Some words should never be used here (and in real life)
best : depends on conditions, on what to expect, etc etc
fast : as equal as 'best' but even worse, the need for comparison.
normally : that word should not even exist in the first place! If one uses it in a sentence I become very suspecious on why someone uses it in the first place.

Fixed battery problem for almost every roms

Nothing
Don't mad at me if I said wrong ................
Why battery life so fast?
- Because all of we are installing( flashing ) every roms that we like......
- The first time when you change your phone's version , that time is not much for your battery....
- But when you flash one after one , it effects on battery life...... you know why?
- Because All of we want to try every rom ( the main problem is we want stable rom for daily use )
-If this rom not stable or get FC want to change another rom... some they don't want to fix that problem including me
-How to fix battery problem?
It's simple
If you have stable rom for daily use , buy New battery (original battery)
and if you want to use for changing rom u use old battery , and you think it's stable rom, put new battery ,,,,,,,
I think I solved battery drain problem
Hit Thanks If I help you
I will 8plain why I say for some almost every roms ..... After I cameback from my work
I can't see the text behind the smiles...
I have a better solution... don't flash a new rom every week, flash one and stick with it.
Also let me be the first ass to say WRONG SECTION!

Or just stick to it for a couple months then update it. ;D
Also, remove to general section of X10.
This is the most stupid thread i have seen.

Interesting use of Smiley faces here...
well man, i don't know if you tried this but... in market there's an app called, battery calibrator, is obvious what it does, isnt it? ok, if you follow its directions you're gonna have a good battery life, sometimes removing battery stats from xrec manually does not work very well, but, if you do it through this app, it works very good, just charge your phone until it gets 100%, click on calibrate (into the app, it removes battery stats), then unplug phone, use it until it drains the whole charge of the battery, i mean until it turns off, if you really needed that calibration, you're gonna realize that the last 10% lasts, foreveeeeeeer, what does it mean? that our phones, never get the true 100%, maybe it gets about, don't know, 90% but, the OS thinks it is fully charged, so it begins to stop charging. When the phone is turned off, charge it (i dont know if turned on or off, i do it off, the app does not say it) until it gets 100%, then turn it on, enjoy.

Do you think is it the most stupid thread in XDA?
I didn't say this is the best thread in XDA
Even you know how to do this .... Some of our developers are ( new members )
still don't know this problem
Is there something wrong with my 8plaination?
If I'm wrong plz 4give me .......
I want to request forgiveness from you
I just intend for new members who are still don't know about battery life
Do you know why?
Some of deps are thinking that Example: Wolf's rom .... they flash wolf rom
and they feel rom is so fast but battery life very fast finish....
then they think this rom we cannot use because battery life no good
then they changed another rom like Achotjan's rom again....
So ...... battery life is slowly and slowly down after rom and rom......
But they didn't think that because of flashing roms......
Thanks Bro for yours
cool story bro
Troll story bro

The x10 only has a heat probe and the driving circuits for the cell.
The Chargemon handles the battery statistics by checking current flow and voltage.

Stick to GB (probably CM7/MIUI) as I've found that ICS has very random and unpredictable spikes in battery drain. Other than that though, it depends entirely on how you use your phone, there will never be a 'best ROM for battery' so never ask that question.
