Hi guys, I'm not the kind of person who roots his phones but I like a lot reading topics in this forum, it's just great.
Anyway, I own an HTC Legend from about six months, and I'm happy with the update that htc realease is faster, it has less bugs, they do not fix the issue with the exchange account saddly, but I have notice that after the update for some reason the wifi stops working, it appears to be connected according the notification bar, but not working, then I realized that if I turn off and on the wifi, this just starts working normally again.
Any idea of why I have this issue? Do this happens to you too?
At the beginning I use to think that the reason was that the wifi was on all the time, but then I started to use Auto Wifi toggle, but the issue still there so now I think that its the update.
What do you think?

and what do you mean: check the folders?
The same problem with Samsung Galaxy S. Sometimes works, sometimes does not. Sometimes clearing cash helps, sometimes not. Sometimes restart of the phone helps, sometimes not.
I think this is the general problem of Android 2.2 devices.
For me, it has actually turned data off. I have had to go to settings and turn it back on.
Today, I had to set WCDMA only for it to work. On GSM or WCDMA it showed a 3G connection, but no data would actually pass... how can that be?
I read other devices and ROM's are facing similar issues currently so I really think the Market is just unstable right now
I have try everything as well and no luck at all? It is the system problem or the market is down??
I've tried all that and still can't download. Was working fine earlier this morning, and yesterday
One app got installed a few hours back. However, just tried another app which does not get installed.
Glad to hear more people have market issues, that makes a general market problem more likely...

I've tried WiFi on and WiFi off some days and I really can't see any difference. With my hero I could see a definite difference.
As far as GPS goes, i thought it was only used when called upon by certain programs?

I'm not being to download apps from the market, some I can download, but its very slow downloading. I get a status in the notification saying its downloading, then it suddenly disappears!??
Anyone else having this problem??

Thread closed....I thought the " Known issues on HTC Desire HD....post your problems or issues here" was created for these type of concerns.
My phone has been doing this for 2 or 3 days now. When I accept an incoming call, the phone automatically enters speakerphone mode.
When a BT headset is connected, it is fine.
Anyone got a clue why it is doing this? I havenet installed any apps which should have this effect.

Been looking into this all night, with no luck. Has anyone seen this before?
Not had any calls come in on mine yet so can't comment on whether I am affected. I would have thought it would be well known about though if it was widespread.
Are you using stock rom? Tried re-flashing the RUU?
Had this to you need to make someone call you and keep trying with the button to switch between speaker or ear and eventually i got it right! Hold it against your ear then remove it and try button again thats how i did it!

Mine too but it hardly ever does it now. A sensor tries to detect how your phone is positioned and switches to speaker. It seems to go away on the stock rom, so persevere on the stock rom. It all worked out for me eventually. Word of advice though, DISABLE SENSE until it's ready. It makes your contact icons in messages disappear. Htc always releases questionable software which should be described as beta. If you use bluetooth for music, stick with stock for now. Yadda yadda. All in all, the dhd. Rules. Oh ya, anyone know how the htc hd2 rund witb android 2.2. I saw lots of great deals on ebay to buy a broken one and fix tbe software to run android. I just want a new toy really.

I had this for a while - turned out to be an iffy setting in my profile manager/switcher (phoneweaver). Are you using anything like that?
FIXED: Oh my word, how simple was this...
Should have said, I'm on stock everything as I have a poor track record with having to send stuff back to manufacturers to be fixed.
After spending all night looking for a solution, and trying a couple of things found on other forums (install phonespeaker app and turn it off in that - doesn't work BTW), I decided this morning to remove the possibility that the phone had simply got its panties in a bunch, switched it off properly and removed the battery. 10 minutes of being denied a power source has cured it. Most bizarre.

I was wondering if everyone still experiences the same. My account on sense was working ok on the first week when I received my phone in Noember, especially in detecting location but after hard-resetting, it stopped working. Ever since, my location is always detected in the sea as it was reported by most users in the past. The strange thing is that it was correctly detected before reset.
The ringer works ok now but I tried to test the lock phone feature. What happened is that my phone wasn't locked at all but on HTC sense web site it always shows the phone as locked. No way to unlock it from there.
HTC support has told me 3 months ago that sense is still in development. I wonder if it is still in development and if it will be forever.
Can anyone detect location correctly and use the lock phone feature?

I wonder why can't HTC make something similar. Those guys give it for £1 and HTC earns so much money and can't do it.
HTC are good at making packaged phone OS from another OEM OS provider, but having a client/server feature they are still learning. What is worst is that they continue to advertise the HTC Sense as a major feature, but they can't get it to work and keep saying it is in development.
HTC better clean up their act on this as this could be cause for owners to jump to another hardware manufacturer.

Hi all,
I do have an quite a big problem with thrusting. The phone starts to tether and mostly it works for few minutes and then it freezes stopping the connection... Afterwards I have to reboot the phone because the touch screen doesn't react and I can't unlock out weather do any thin else...
Sometimes it even doesn't start to tether... Th ose issues are with wifi as well as with usb...
It is really annoying... My SGSOne works perfect with that...
Im on lightening rom currentley, how ever it was the case on every rom I tried with stock included...
Any ideas?

Hello All Aria/Liberty Users,
We are in a new year. Will our little phone be continued to be supported? I suspect that it will be because of all the users and the great support we have had in the past.
Yes - I would like to see Sense 3.5 or even 4.0. Is that first on my list? No - but a well functioning phone is. I do hope the GPS issue, slow lockups, can be resolved, but as we all know, there is a work-a-round for that.
I suggest that all that are having issues, do a search of your problem before listing, the responsible people here work hard to resolve problems and I see many duplicate issues queried - a little more searching may find your solution.
Just my thoughts.
Hopefully support continues. Most peoples contracts are probably running up (mine is in a month). But hopefully this little phone wont be forgotten. And as similar it is to newer phones I say support will be there

What's currently not working: Bluetooth, camera, gps, home button, headphones, 3d graphics, videos, browser... sdcard isn't auto mounting right now but it works if I manually mount it.
What is currently working: Wifi, phone radio(calling, SMS, 3g data) is fully working without any fiddling with it.. sound(apart from headphones), vibration, notification and button lights, orientation sensors, touchscreen and Google apps(with market downloads)... that's all I can think of right now.

For anyone interested, I fixed the sdcard and browser last night
Edit: And home button today
I am patiently waiting on a daily driver for ICS. I flashed one from another post in the dev section and it runs good with the hints and tricks he lists with it, The only issue i have with it is the apps to sd part. Most of my apps wont move like they would with cm7. And by the way i have another year left on my contract as well so dont feel bad dude.
