Does anyone know where I could find a library that would allow me to integrate with my app that shows D6 being rolled on the screen??? Right now my app only has static D6 but it would be better with an animation.

hey
i thought about an app or widget that could be programmed.
i would do the graphics for it.
i thought we could implement a new text message into one of the 7 home screens. that means that you maybe slide left and there is a full screen app where you can directly start writings a text message.
it would be nice if the bottom bar slides out and the app slides in while you are sliding to the screen.
anyone interested in developing this with me?

Hi everyone, just had a Google nexus 10 for a couple of days now....first ever tablet PC / Android OS device - pretty experienced with PCs and Window but this is very different!
Getting on fine customising the setup and installing Apps etc, finding the solution most the time I get stuck here or elsewhere on the Interweb but there's a few minor things I just can't sort out.
I'll start with just a couple of questions and keep working on the other 'issues' myself for a while....
1) Music Player
I've added a bunch of MP3 albums to the GN10 - originally the album artwork appeared in screen you could scroll through but in finding my way around the App changed the view to a static tiled view of the album covers - no way can I switch back or between any view options now!
By the way.....stick with the standard music player or other Apps recommended? (would be nice to have a graphic equaliser.......I've set up a nice set of external speakers with Logitech Bluetooth audio adapter)
2) My Library...
My Music.......the icons on the 'Desktop' are just grey squares with the album title etc......surely the album covers/artwork should show?
........that's it for now
Thanks
Andy
Your are talking about the play music app, yes? If so the view you were talking about where you could scroll through is the "recent music" view. The static tiles is the "album" view. The view can be changed in the upper left side of the app next to the app icon. The app does have a built in graphic equalizer which is accessed by touch the menu button (3 dots) in the upper right.
As far as the widget, you may want to try removing the widget and then putting it back. A reboot may help afterwards as well. Hope this answers your questions.
Spot on re the 'recent music' view....thanks - strange that that view is not available for the full music selection
Removed and added the Library widget again but no change.........not fussed though as removed again as on second thoughts can't see the need anyway, how often would one of the few albums shown be what you wanted to listen too anyway?.......just hit the Media Player icon...
Something else strange (to me anyway lol).....
The photo gallery has imported all the artwork/album covers from the Music folder ......can't see a setting to change this?
That is strange indeed. Is the music mp3's that are physically stored on the tablet memory?
Yes all on the tablet, fully tagged etc via dBpoweramp

Click to collapse
...anyone any ideas?
very nice,its worked fully!
Unfortunately I don't believe there is a way to remove them from the gallery. It is a quirk of android. You will notice that some apps will even create folders in the gallery to store cached images.

When I add a new app using Google Play, the app icon appears off the screen as in the screenshot. I tried to adjust the settings but changing the grid size didn't work, and neither did anything else. Is there a way to fix this? It's a minor issue but sorta annoying.
Same issue
I have the same issue and posted about it earlier and no one has responded. I have tried every setting I can think of with no luck.

I want to have a fixed image on the side of tabs like this image.
Im using FragmentTabHost.
My Layout:
this way the image is superimposed with the tabs.
how can I achieve this?
do you just want one app icon and the tabs, or are you trying to get an image on all the tabs?
your pastebin link isnt working

one icon and the tabs like image.
here pastebin is ok...
Maybe you can do that in a RelativeLayout.
Put the image into the upper-left corner. Then use android:layout_toRightOf for the TabHost.
However, it is recommended to put tabs into the ActionBar. (If you are worried about compatibility: They release a supportv7 library for that.)
Is there a lock screen I can install which shows fullscreen album art when playing from Spotify? Actually I am looking for something like the Cyanogenmod lock screen which also had a nice graphic equalizer. I know that Good Lock from Samsung can show album art, but it also brings with it a lot of changes that I do not want.
Can someone tip me about a lock screen that does this? I suppose the CM lock with AudioFX equalizer is not possible
I know Google Music will show full album art when playing and the screen is locked but I'm not sure about it showing a graphic EQ on the lock screen.
