Quick question:
It's possible to unlock landscape mode in rosie(sense) launcher? You can see it:
1. Install GO sms.
2. Enable popup
3. Send sms to yourself
4. Quickly go to home screen(of course first enable HTC sense as default launcher if you using any other launcher)
5. If popup is displayed rotate phone to horizontal position(of course first enable autorotate if it is disabled)
6. You should see rosie in beautiful, landscape mode
Do you have any idea how to unlock this mode in rosie? I can't decompile rosie.apk in apk manager....

Can homescreen autorotation only be done in a full custom rom?
Or would an upgrade (e.g. cyan's making bacon) be able to enable this function?
Cyanogens Makin' bacon doesn't support landscape right now. The only I see to enable it would be to download a homescreen replacement such as Home++ that's what I'm using right now and it works fine.
What happens to your icon/widget layout when you switch to landscape view?
Does Android 2.1 not support auto-rotate by default?
It supports auto-rotate for everything but the home screens, which kinda sucks cause when I get Handcent pop ups if I wanna use the landscape keyboard I have to go into the handcent app. Can only do portrait for pop up quick reply if it comes up while youre on home or lock screen.
I tried open home, it wouldn't let me put widgets on the screens so I got rid of it.
but to my question:
Does native landscape mode for the home screen require a COMPLETELY new rom?
Or just a addition to the stock?
I can't change the launcherpro message button default. I want to use handcent sms but I don't know how to set it up. I have check the default messaging app and the clear default button is greyed out as well as the hendcent. help me.
First off, you want to hold the message icon on your screen for a few seconds, a prompt should pop up asking what you want to do. Tap change shortcut, then applications and scroll down to the messaging app you want to use and select it. It should then ask you what icon you want to use, default, Launcher Pro icon or custom. Depending on what you want you can change it. Tada, you're done.
On a side note, if you want more launcher pro icons, download launcher pri icons format the market or google launcher pro custom icons.
1. Is it possible to set a lockscreen wallpaper?
2. Is it possible to rotate the homescreen to portrait. That is about the only way to use it with a stand?
3. The calendar widget is there anyway to make it display the month instead of just the day?
1. Not in the default options. Yes with a lockscreen app.
2. Not in the default options. Yes with a different launcher or rooting and changing dpi. (Assuming you mean 'landscape', portrait is the default)
3. Not in the default options. Yes with Android Pro Widgets.
Hi,
I'm using Nova launcher on sense4A ROM (sabsa 4.0 but its the same for all sense 4), and every time I reboot my device the lockscreen icons disapear (I'm left with only ring for opening).
The reason for that as I discovered is because the HTC Sense doesn't boot up.
If I uncheck the Nova as default and choose HTC Sense (to load it once), the icons return.
But because I'm using Nova, I want to make it default and not run the HTC Sense every reboot (I reboot alot - atleast twice aday)
So my question is, is there a way to make the HTC Sense boot up in the background automatically with out my touch?
Thanks,
Yarden.
The reason for this is to simplify for G2 users that miss the double tap turn off screen in other than the default launcher.
Lock Screen
It's tiny 21KB and has no ads.
For Apex Launcher
1. Install Lock Screen
2. Go to Apex Settings\Behavior Settings\Desktop double tap
3. Choose "Launch app" and choose Lock Screen.
It's about the same with other launchers that are like Apex Launcher.
There are many other apps out there that do the same thing but i found that many are little slow with turning off the screen.
Note: If you can't install it with Play Store there are alternative ways but that one should be available for everyone.
To disable the turn of animation:
The only app I know is the Xposed Framework module XBlast Tools.
I'm using it with CloudyFlex 1.4 and it's working perfectly.
