Hi there, Ive just been trying to get root on the phone. I flashed CWM 3.0.2.4 onto my NS (2.3.4) and now it only boots into CWM, wont boot into android. How do I get it to boot to android! No idea what to do, Ive googled the **** out of this and just get loads of conflicting stuff, none of which works!
Thanks for the help!
What is the command you used to flash CWM onto your phone?
hi i have the same problem. i have i9023 and i made:
oem unlock command and the flash recovery command.
everything was ok.
then i used superroot-user-install.bat or something like that (which was mistake on 9023 i think)
after this i can start phone with volume up+power and can go into recovery.
but if i want to reboot into system i had just google logo and litlle logo of lock down on the screen and thats all.
Stupid question: did you try yanking the battery?
I have the same problem! I'm stuck in the ClockworkMod Recovery. Rebooted the phone multiple times, no change :S
EDIT: Panic is over, fixed it
I got that problem too when i tried to root my NS, then I downloaded the stock image > extract to get the original bootimage > flash it > reboot CWM recovery > problem solved.
i have been flashing for a while and out of the blue trying to put a new rom i go to magdlr menu then ad recovery and i get no boot sources how can i fix this and get recovery back
flash recovery again that should fix it
got it to work turns out i needed to re flash magdlr apparently i had clk... learned something new lol
I can't boot to recover from the boot loader. Choosing boot to recovery in ROM Manager works just fine, but it would be nice to have it work from the boot loader.
same here
Should you be getting stuck on the google login screen from cold boot (power and volume down button) to recovery i have found that if you plug it into the pc then boot to recovery it works Dont know why it wont work as stand alone but this is a work around until they figure it out. the rom manager is no good if you crash and need to re-install.
I have a big problem at the moment... I wanted to boot into recovery mode, then an android icon with a red exclamation mark appeared. After I tried to boot into the recovery again using Power + Volume Up, it appears again. Since then I can't reboot my Nexus 10 normally. Bootloader says:
Reboot Mode Flag: Recovery
I think my Nexus 10 is always trying to boot into recovery, but this is no longer working... what can I do to get it work again?
Hope someone can help me with this
Edit: I could finally solve my problem I used fastboot to flash a new recovery that is working, after this I rebooted into recovery and restarted the system. Because this wasn't working, I had to get back to factory settings, but it is working
I have an MB525 running Slimbean. I took the battery out mid boot the other day and now it won't progress beyond the boot animation.
The system is responsive, and when connected via ADB I can make changes. Tailing logcat just shows frequent garbage collection.
What is the best way to recover this? I've booted into recovery (vol down when blue LED), and if I select Team Win Recovery - nothing happens, selecting CWM recovery just causes it to boot as 'normal' (ie stuck at boot animation).
I'm not familiar enough with the boot process on this to know where to start adb pushing files to fix this. I'm aware that I could bring it back to stock with RSDLite and start again, but considering I have root access via ADB, I was hoping that there'd be a better way to do this.
Ultimate goal is to install CM11 or Slimkat.
