XDA upgrade problem

Just wondering whether anyone would have a fix for an XDA (the original) ? The upgrade has failed halfway through the RSU upgrade (Version 4.21). Through loading into the Bootloader (Wallaby Version 6.22) I am receiving a GSM error. Does anyone have any suggestions in how to complete the upgrade? Any ideas would be gratefully received.

If you try reading little bit in the forum, you would see many postings concernig this problem. There are a few solutions, but most of them do not work for the most users. Nornally you have to contact a service center for repairing...

Sobre gps no toi muy puesto,lo mismo con cambiar modem se arregla
Sobre el 1.6 me extraña mucho ya q la rom no esta oc ,instalaste desde 0?

Que tal amigos. Bueno este post esta orientado aquellos compatriotas mexicanos que disfrutan de este maravilloso equipo y que quieren conectarse a GPRS y poder enviar MMS.
Les anexo la liga del CAB que les configura automáticamente el equipo para que no lo tengan que hacer a mano cada que flashean o le dan hard reset al equipo.

Edgar como instalaste el WM 6 si tu tel esta bloqueado?????

En mi 8125 (WM6 TNT4) lo probe para conectar a internet a checar correo (gmail) y funcionó bien, me falta probar enviar MMS pero bueno, de por si nunca envio de esos ... mi numero de telefono lo tengo en prepago y utilice la conexión que dice Telcel HS...

Well the first post says something like:

Configuracion de MMS TELCEL (Amigo)
1. En start presiona messaging y te aparecera la ventana de mensajes.
2. En la pestaña accounts selecciona MMS
3. En la pestaña tools selecciona MMS settings.
4. En connect via: selecciona MY ISP, selecciona Retrieve messages immediately, tambien selecciona Ok to download when roaming, tambien selecciona Save sent messages, en attemps before giving up de preferencia sellecciona 5, y en photo resolution selecciona 320 x 240 si no quieres que se tarde eternidades en enviar mensajes por lo de la red de telcel.
5. En la pestaña Servers selecciona New.
6. En Server name escribe mms telcel
7. En Gateway escribe 148.233.151.240
8. En Port numbre escribe 9201
9. En server address escribe http://mms.itelcel.com/servlets/mms
10. En sending size limitation selecciona 200k y presiona ok y te mostrara el nuevo servidor creado mms telcel, presiona ok en la parte superior y estas listo para enviar y recibir mensajes multimedia

Hola, perdon por no contestar rapido. Se lo instale con la herramienta del Shelltool de volada.. le metes las Roms que quieras.

Just wondering where you got the Destinator 7 with 2008 Mexico maps. I am Austrian living in Mexico (great country btw) and desperately looking for a GPS navigation software for my new HTC Touch HD with street coverage in Puebla and other major cities. It's easy to get lost here as a foreigner.
The results from the web searches are rather confusing.
Hints and suggestion are very much appreciated.

If you look only to find streets in Puebla (no gps navigation) you can use the live maps in microsoft site, those maps are good enough. About the software I'm, not sure if those maps include Puebla (don´t know why but it is not seen as a big city). I was living in Puebla and used those maps sometimes.

tengo un problema. mi htc legend tiene reinicios espontaneos, este no es el problema, el detalle es que al reiniciarse sale la pantalla de htc y de ahi se reinicia una y otra vez, no entra al sistema.
Solo al conectarlo al usb, ya sea a corriente directa o a la laptop este comienza a iniciar.
Pero lo que desero es una solucion, no siempre tengo a la mano la laptop o el cargador para resolver este problema.
Por su atencion muchas gracias y espero una pronta solucion.

It's called a bootloop I think. It occasionally pops up in these forums. Just search for "bootloop" and you'll find a solution. ;-)

Tu nick dice que eres de Honduras, así que debes hablar español...
Prueba a encender tu celular en el BOOTLOADER, esto lo logras manteniendo apretado el botón de la cámara mientras lo prendes, y presiona a fondo el botón de la cámara que éste se puede apretar en dos niveles!
Si logras ver algo diferente a la pantalla que dice G1 al encenderlo con el botón de la cámara presionado, entonces puedes revivir tu celular, si no, es caso perdido!
No intentes nada mas si es que ves algo diferente a la pantalla que dice G1, simplemente apaga el cel (si no te funciona con el botón rojo, simplemente sacale la batería). Postea para más ayuda!

Para que te ayudes un poco mas para encender tu cel en el bootloader:

Ve al minuto 3:30, ahi verás muy claramente como encender al HTC Dream en el bootloader. Si al realizar esto del botón de la cámara y el de encendido a la vez ves algo diferente a la pantalla que dice G1, entonces apaga tu cel (sacale la pila para no realizar algo indebido por apretar botones). Postea acá si tuviste este resultado favorable para que recibas instrucciones para volver a poner en estado operativo tu celular.
Si siempre sigues viendo la pantalla que dice "G1" y no lo logras encender en el bootloader, quiere decir que realmente has dañado a tu HTC Dream de manera irreversible, sólo un JTAG puede repararlo si estás en este punto, y todos los materiales que necesitarás costarán tanto a como comprarte un HTC Dream nuevo.

Only 2G. Why?

Hello my friends.
I have a problem with my L7 705.
The network only detect 2G signal, I dont know why and I dont know what more to do.
I tried installing many ROM's and KDZ, actually I have CM10 but the problem still there.
Have You any idea what is the problem and the solutions for that? It's horrible use it only in 2G (EDGE)

Has tratado de configurar las APN's? Son las configuraciones que tiene cada operadora para que funcione el 3g. Estan en menu/ajustes/conexiones inalambricas y redes - mas opciones/redes moviles/APN. Ahi con el boton menu agregas una nueva si es que no tienes nada, busca como configurar la de tu operadora

yes I did and works but only in 2G. When I select 3G the signal appers with a X.
So, I dont think that be the APN setting.

Si ya lo hice, ya lo configure y funciona pero solo con 2G cuando selecciono 3G es que aparece una X y se van las barras de la señal.
Asi que no creo que sea la configuracion de APN
