Seeking skilled android application developer who is interested in partnering with a pilot to create an android based aviation test preperation app to be sold on the android market. Our target consumers would be the over 26,000 student pilots who test to become private pilots each year. Additionally, this project could expand into multiple apps covering other aviation subject areas. I'd provide the aviation expertise and you'd provide the programming expertise with a 50/50 revenue sharing basis. As a pilot, I know this idea will definitely sell apps and there is currently nothing on the Android Market that meets this need. Please contact me if you are interested in this idea and I will provide more details.

Calling all developers...
I first want to thank you guys for all you do. I and my phone certainly appreciate the work you have put into developing for these smart devices.
I have a request...
I work for a non-profit organization that provides services for the mentally and physically disabled segment of the population. I provide IT support and have been tasked with finding talented programmers who can write applications for Android and iOS devices. The applications are not expected to be particularly elaborate, but definitely esthetically appealing. They will need to be simple and easy to use. We are looking to provide these apps for the people we support. We want to provide for them a way to find helpful information easily and quickly (like branch location information, local state/county resource listings, etc.).
I'm asking for your help because though I provide IT support, I'm definitely no coder (hardware, help desk, and server support are in my wheel house).
If anyone here is interested in lending your talents to a good cause you can reply to this thread or pm me.
We are in the very early stages of this project, so questions regarding details like compensation or even the detailed nature of the desired app(s) cannot be answered at this time.
Nevertheless, I can assure you that your help will be greatly appreciated.
P.S. If this is the wrong place to inquire, or the wrong thread to post, please steer me in the right direction.
Thanks!
Andre (aka perknite)
A static page with links to the appropriate county agency(s) resource(s) web page(s) is all you need. Especially considering your clientele.
Hi,
I am creating a core team of three for a concept for which the initial corporate funding of $350000 (not much, I agree) is committed. I (even the investor) strongly believe this concept could make a difference and is inviting two more rockstar android developers to join me..
the location of the startup will be Bangalore, India. Pls ping me on [email protected] if you are interested.. thanks
It would probably help if you said what the project even is
I agree, maybe you dont have to tell us exactly what the concept is but just what skills are required etc.
Thanks for the reply,
The broad concept I was pitching in is on the Mobile protection, but the approach to this is different from the current crop of antiviruses or Data backup solutions.. the funding entity is a leader in providing enterprise security and they will provide the expertise in that field.. The one that I am looking forward would have exceptional android app development experience/skills who could drive the on device app vision. Hope this helps..
I would offer my services up (and actually wouldn't mind working for very little or no money just to get more experience), but I am still learning. I can develop apps on the computer in Java pretty well, so I guess that helps, but I still am getting used to the different style and classes offered by the Android API/SDK. If you need a hand and seriously dont have money to waste, I can try my hand at it, but I would rather practice coding lots of smaller apps first and then maybe offer it again.
Should i PM you if I feel like I've gotten my hand wrapped around this SDK/API?
Thanks Johnson, we could explore your proposition once we have a core team in place

I was contacted by a recruiter through my LinkedIn profile and have no affiliation and gain nothing from posting this. My hope is that good Android developers are placed in good positions that help grow the platform.
Please see the description below if you are interested.

I am not familiar with Facebook app development, but my company is sorely in need of it, I believe. My company is fairly small and I don’t have anyone on staff that is skilled in development, so I need a company that can complete an application project without huge fees. Does anyone know of a reliable company I could hire for a project?
No matter the size of your company
No matter the size of your company, Facebook application development can help your company grow exponentially in terms of customer size, as well as sales and revenue. Sometimes it is better to outsource application development projects rather than assigning the project to someone on staff - if you even have anything on staff! When you outsource this kind of work, it is completed more thoroughly and more quickly. I know that a company like ConvoSpark, which is based in San Francisco, is able to complete projects both large and small in a short amount of time. They are definitely one of the best out there and can help you reduce the costs associated with application development.
Hello everyone, I'd like to present developers with an opportunity to make money with ease on android. I have been a developer myself for 4 years now, and after uploading thousands of apps I have decided to launch my own ad network along side with a semi-automated app deployment service.
I'm not going to sit here and tell you our eCPMs are better then everyone and what not, But what I am going to tell you what seperates my network from others is we focus on the developer. How can developers deploy more quality apps? Which in turn means more high quality traffic for advertisers and more conversions.
We've spent years developing popular apps and now they are free for any developer to use and upload to the google play store. Instead of worrying about how to monetize or how to integrate an SDK, We've done it for you, You can still use your private apps with our SDK via standard implementation methods, but we are also offering developers another route also.
We believe in always developing which is why we are looking for testers to test our platform and tell us what needs to be improved, added or taken out. We'll be offering developers $100 ad credit, along side with offering developers $100 ad credit to run campaigns for their apps. Our Payment terms are bi-weekly for developers.
If you are interested in being a beta tester or looking to run campaigns please send me an e-mail @ [email protected][dot]com or visit www[dot]fingertise[dot]com for our ad network and www[dot]appslabmarket[dot]com for our app deployment service.
Thank you,
