Absolutely minimilistic ROM?

Does anyone know any ROM for Galaxy S that contains the default experience? I want no Samsung crap apart from the e-book reader(I might be interested in it). Would it be possible to achieve this? It will be great if its based on Froyo.

Have fun and remember that this kitchen is based on JPC and some ppl have problems with this ROM version.

Lol, spoken too early! Thought this had stock android launcher and apps (like stock calendar, clock, etc.)...I was wrong!

Yeah I did see that... unfortunately it doesn't provide basic info like what firmware is required for flashing it (I'm currently on jm7) and there are no screenshots to see it running

JM7 seems to work from what I can tell from the posts there, but you are right of course. He should update the first post with some basic information...

Well that would explain why we did not see a GPS fix. Froyo at last. I have been missing it moving from the nexus one to the captivate.

EDIT: I initially posted this in the android general section, but now realize it was a stupid idea.
EDIT 2: Just to avoid confusion, this is not a rom, this is just the sdk dump. I merely got the sdk, then used unyaffs to extract the system.img
EDIT 3: If any developer uses this and makes a rom for us, it would be nice if I could see my name somewhere in the credits for extracting this. But its just a wish. You dont have to if you dont want to.

They are all system apps, like certinstaller, contactsprovider, customlocale, etc...

I've seen some of the features of Gingerbread, and honestly I think Froyo packed a much bigger impact. I'll give it a test run, but I'm honestly not that hyped for it. Especially after the strides that's being made on ACE (DesireHD).

If coming from CM7/MIUI then just reboot into recovery and go to mounts&storage, wipe system, data, datadata, and cache, and flash GalaxyComb.zip !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! If not follow instructions after download section.
Download the following Files-

5. Reboot into recovery, go to mounts and storages, format system and data and datadata and cache.
6. Flash GalaxyComb.zip and enjoy!
7. Fix I9000 Issues by flashing Glitch v12b3 Captivate kernel!

There are the regular problems with a ROM ported from an I900 phone w/ out reoriented kernel. The volume only has one level, data, doesnt work, not reccomened for daily use right now, but if you want a taste of Honeycomb on ur Cappy, here yahh go!

You say in the instructions you can come straight from CM/MIUI, which is what he is asking.
Honestly, it would be a lot easier for them to just download the latest (or just any) CM nightly, and then install this over it. Less downloads, no Odin, just 2 installs and you're set.

i have boost mms working on black ice rom

i have mms working for boos mobile on black ice rom i did not create it but after long serches i found a mms fix zip for cm9 aokp that worked on the black ice rom i am able to send mms pictures now credit goes to the developer who i dont remember but thanks

it is actually a zip for the epic 4g that someone created and all i did was flash it in recovery and mms worked i take no credit for the zip just the time spent trying many different things

BUT I won't say how I fixed it or anything except that I flashed a zip and it worked.....I got it over in the epic 4g section
YOU SEE.....anyone can say this, doesn't make it true! This dude hasn't provided any proof that he's fixed the MMS on boost mobile YET he wanted to make a thread about it.....completely pointless!
Is a cheap attempt at getting attention and possibly get people to flash that themed ROM
