[Q] HD2 Android, Media Sound Problem - HD2 Android Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting and Genera

Hello everyone,
It's been a while that i'm using android on my hd2, and i saw a really nice game on my friend's android phone called Asphalt 5, however, i downloaded it and installed it n it worked so well for me, but the problem is, sometimes when i open the game it comes with no sound and when i want to turn up media volume it doesn't let me do that and the media volume is stuck at mute, but some times it works and the sound comes too, and after that the media sound stays in mute and doesn't come up it's not only inside the game, after i exit the game, i can't listen to music or have media sound again and for having it i have to restart phone and boot android again,
can somebody tell me whats the problem with it ?

Windiows Media Player Mute

Hi,
windows media player seems to permanently mute its output whenever I press pause. When I press play again no sound is produced until the current track has finished playing and a new one loaded or the present one is repeated. Is this a known bug, does anyone else have the same problem?
Seen the same thing lots. Annoying when you are halfway through a movie.
Same problem for me. You are not alone!

Windows Media Player - No Turn Off while phone phone turned off

Hello
i need to know if there is any possibility to continue the playing of the windows media player when i turn off my mobile phone (so that the touchscreen can not be used, but phone still on)
the problem is that im going to work every morning and plugin my earphones to turn on the music for the way. i leave the phone in my jacket and because it is not turned off so you can use the touchscreen it happens very often that the touchscreen is touched and that the song turns louder, the next song comes, aso..... i do not like this, this is why i ask for a configuration that i save the screen so it cant be touched and i can hear music at the same time.
is there anything out?
You can set a key to disable the screen by using the "Menu" "Options..." "Keys" menu.
The last item (not sure, I'm using a french WM) is about Activating/Deactivating the screen.
Hope this will help you.
Another option is to use a bluetooth headset, which will keep the music playing even when you hit the power button. Another thing to consider would be a program such as Slide 2 Unlock, which can turn off the lcd according to a preset delay, but I'm not sure if media player would keep playing or not. Good luck!
I just use the audioprogram from htc with batterystatus, when I turn my phone off. the music keeps playing and my screen is off and keys locked
yea, the new HTC audio manager plugin (touchflo cab) allows you to turn off the screen while still playing the music. its a plus as a really nice audio player also.
Just assign a button in WMP to "Toggle Screen" this will do what youre looking for. No need for an entirely new media player.

Sorry to Bump this up but can someone tell me how to listen to music in audio manager while screen is off please, i searched and searched and the only answers i see are use another player (which I dont wantm I orefer audio manager) and "mine works when my screen is off" (thanks for the help???) Did anyone have the same problem as me and fix it? Thanks in advance
Play Media Player while phone is (otherwise) off.
I had a ROM loaded on my phone that allowed MS Mediaplayer to stay active while my Tilt was 'off'. In fact, it was listed as a feature of that ROM. So I know that it's possible. Someone knows how to do it.

Windows media player changes song after 30 seconds

Hey guys,
I have this really weird problem with windows media player. (I also have the lag as most of U, but that's not the bigest problem for me)
Everytime I startup windows media player to listen to music, I select a song and it starts playing. No problems so far. But after a little while, sometimes 20 or 30 seconds, the player skips to the next song, plays the first 30 seconds or so and skips to the next song, on and on. It's not always 30seconds, sometimes it skips to the next song after a few minutes. (but it rarely plays a song till the end)
I really hope u can help me!
ROM: SkippyCentraal SCv3.5 HD (also with other ROMs)
Radio: 1.09.25.23
Ive never really used it on my phone, but it sounds like its set just to play the intros of the song. Its happened to me on a couple of media players before, you just get the first few seconds of the song then it moves onto the next one.
Try looking in the settings and see if you can change it.
Hope that helps!
I had the same problem when using raphael volume control. the problem was solved when installed diamond volume control. if you use raphael volume control, try this
Hey
I do have the same problem. Dis you solve this problem?
Edwin.

If you open the “start” menu in the upper bar (while listening to the music) find the lock button and and lock the phone, does it stop playing? It should continue.
I seldom lock the phone, but I’ve just tried to see if it works and right now I’m listening to MP3’s and looking at locked screen… Well, it seems I can not use the volume buttons now it is locked, have to unlock it first… OK, this is inconvenient for me as I listen to the music only at work or at home, but I suppose you want to listen to the music while you are outside.

Actually you can use volume keys while device is locked or screen off. Just use this little app
I found a thing that when you are listening to music with your headphones plugged in and lock the device it gets locked.
But if you play it on the speaker and lock the device then it doesn't.
any solutions to it?
And my devices' volume control works even after i lock the device( only with headphones plugged in) and I didnt even install any extra file. It was pre-built.

Windows Media Player problems...TMobile HD2

I like to use Windows Media Player to play the music files, because...
. I used it in WM6.1 system, and feel pretty good about it
. You have some control using headset controls
. It automatically stops while you are in a call then resumes when call ends
. The HTC music player in my HD2 doesn't work well and I have looked for help here but not much improved.
But... the WMP in my HD2 seems also having some issues which the previous WM6.1 one doesn't have:
. Fast forward/backward is very hard to use on touch screen, and from headset controls, it only can go 5 seconds each click, which is very slow...
. The playlist can disappear for no reason, if I don't use it for a while
. Why the heck WMP will stop completely when using some applications? During call period is desired but resumes when call is ended. However, if I turn on the camera, WMP also stops, even worse, the whole playlist is gone too! That's very annoy.
Any suggestions on how to fix these problems? Thanks...
