I want ROM - Click General

Hi, I'm looking for a rom for my tattoo. Gingerbread I had 2.3, but the camera and radio work. I'm looking for a rom that will have different programs than 1.6 Original Donut, and faster. Gingerbread something like 2.3 but with a functioning camera. The environment is not necessary to sense
Thank

Try CyanogenMod 7.0.0-RC2.7005 2.3.3 Gingerbread (WITH CAMERA PREVIEW) or nFinityGB v0.9 - Gingerbread 2.3.3 (CM7 based) Now with camera preview!. They both have working camera. Not yet with all apps, but some. But developers are working real fast and fixing bugs...

And now with Improved camera stability/compatibility and Camera is now also able to shoot videos !!!

best eclair/hero port for mt3g?

anyone have any suggestions... i need one thats kinda stable with not a whole lot of lag with primo features... =]
thanks in advance.
moved from development
MLIGN 3.2b is really fast and pretty stable in my opinion.
Hero ROM= MLIGN 3.2B but you need to flash twisted deport 1.0 right after flashing the ROM. no wiping in between. You can find the twisted deport in the MLIGN 3.3 thread.
Eclair ROM = KingKlick's latest 2.1 ROM or OpenEclair's latest 2.1 ROM. Very fast and stable and they both got a 99% working nexus launcher (all it is missing is the 3D roll effect) but they both have all the problems of an eclair ROM for the MT3G/g1. no camcorder or video playback since the drivers aren't released.

[Q] what is more stable 2.2 /2.3

Is there reason to use froyo?
I don't think so. I'm using 2.3 CM7 http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=939122 and it is so good. Everything works ok. Including FM radio and camera.
There is only two problems:
camera preview and video recording. But it is same in 2.2.
Definetely, 2.3 is better than 2.2.
For me it's nFinityGB v0.9 with FM working and Camera preview !
Many update and Kernel optimizations !

[Q] Stable Sense ROM

I want to use something different on my phone.
Now I have "TyphooN CyanogenMod 7 Nightly v3.3.9".
Tomorrow I will try WindowsPhone7 but for me Android is better (and I can't live without "sms backup +")
What is the most stable rom with HTC Sense?
I don't mind about 2.0 or 3.0. I want something stable and fast and possibly without too much customizations.
Sorry for my bad english and thanks to all of you for your passion.
I'm praying a chef is reading this section and decides to make a proper stable Sense version again cause there is none left, period. It's terrible...
Your sign tells everything.
So I will try MIUI (which I already tried but is too slow) and then I will return to TyphooN.
i think Rafdroid Rom is really stable and fast.

+1 for Rafdroid Rom.
I'm using the SD version 4.2 in my EU HD2 for 2 week without ANY problem till now.

I am using this now, but have not been able to get anywhere near the speed that is shown in the OP of that thread, not sure if I am doing something wrong.
I'm trying to dualboot windows phone7 (720p :-Q________ ) and rafdroid on sd.
Finger crossed
Rafdroid is the most stable but major speed improvements have been made since, notably by imilka. Unfortunately he never finished his work...
its sems they are unstable if you play certain games on them, ive never had any issues with them so you cannot say every version has issues
Rafpigna's Sense ROM from sdcard is very very slow :-( but it's stable.
I will try Sense ROM and then I will switch back to a cyanogen.
can you tell me a fast and stable sd rom? Now i don't mind if it has sense or cyanogen. I need a usable rom because I want keep WindowsPhone7 and android
EDIT:
I followed this video
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=N-cUdB4_5f4
to dual boot
But Android says to insert a sd card!
Well, ALL imilka's builds are FC the same apps. I tried them all. So to me, it's a buggy work. A rom is to be considered stable when every function of the phone is working with decent speed and with all apps working. I would say that 75 % of my games are FC when they all run fine on other ROMS. Even Earth is FC !
The problem is that most of the 3.0 Sense Roms are using imilka's method as a base so they do have those persistent FC on top of their usual bugs.
Let's face it : development for the HD2 is dying and Sense Roms are the best example to prove it.
We still have CM and MIUI fortunately.

Are CM and MIUI fast from sdcard? Or I must install them in nand and say goodbye to windows's 720p camera? (TyphooN CyanogenMod in nand is perfect except for the camera, like all others android rom)
I hope you can understand my english
Well WP7 does have 720p recording but the Camera makes greenish pictures with the flash. To me, good pictures are always better than 720p...
Sure, good colors are better than just more pixel. But for me, the camera seems do a excellent job

ICS Camera ported to froyo and gingerbread

https://market.android.com/details?...1bGwsMSwxLDEsImNvbS5tb2JseW54LmNhbWVyYWljcyJd
Those who liked it, here's ICS camera ported to our beloved froyo and gingerbread ROMS.
I've tested it with Ezet's latest CM 7.2 .32 ROM and it works great.

Request to devs- HWA gingerbread

Is it possible to integrate HWA to gingerbread.... may be Walter's MS2GINGER...
Why they should do that? You can use on of the latest cm9 builds with full hwa
It is my understanding that HWA (Hardware Acceleration) was only introduced after Android 3.0 Honeycomb, so 2.3 will never be supported by HWA. Use Quarx's ICS roms, they are great (even better use JB!)
Cheers! :highfive:
