I really need a stable gingerbread rom to flash for my samsung galaxy S that hasnt been modded in anyway and can a guide be posted with it? btw currently running DTJP5 2.2 Optus Stock

the most stable rom is probably official stock rom from Samsung with no modifications.
check this thread for untouched stock roms that can be flashed using odin

[Q] How to flash a stock rom?

I downloaded the latest official gb to my computer(b572g). I have an aurora ics custom rom right now and cwm 5.0.27
I just want to play a little with stock gb and maybe try modding it a little. It is in update.app format and I wonder if I can somehow make a flashable .zip file to mod and why not make a custom rom from the stock one....Is there a way?

Which tpt do you have? Did you do a nandroid backup before installing cm?

when i install the last version of omega rom ,, should i flash the stock rom first to get the feature of the new updates ? or the omega rom already have the feature of the stock rom updates ?
