Emulators - Desire HD General

What ones work well on dhd
Sent from my Desire HD using XDA App

All of them lol
Nesoid
Snesoid
Gameboid
Gearoid
Gensoid
Psx4droid
N64oid
FPse
All of thoes work great on the DHD
Sent from my Desire HD using Tapatalk

GameBoid, GBCoid, SNESoid. Some games on PSX4droid can run alright but will undoubtedly be a bit framey at graphically intensive points. N64oid works but it's crappy having to use the on-screen controls and I find that most games get quite a poor frame rate.

Aha cool

Bios's are defo warez unless you extract the bios from you own psx, roms are warez unless you own an original copy of the game

There is also an emulator for scumm old games, like monkey island!

Also there are Texas Instruments emulators (TIEmulator) and old computers emulators (Marvin -> Z80)
Regards

If you use a rom such as CM7 you can use a Wiimote and classic controller to play those games with

I think keyboard phones have the advantage though, because of the portability. It would be a pain to carry a wiimote everywhere you go, maybe a bluetooth mini-keyboard would do better.
I only play turnbased RPGs, as quick reflexes aren't needed, and neither is a 2 button combination with the thumb(it doesn't work that well)

You can play any game for PSX. Well I tried MGS and it didn't want to boot into the game. But I have not tried FF8
I have the bios file. And the rom I'm using has the .bin extension. However the bin files also come with .cue extension files. I'm guessing I just have incompatible rom.
Sent from my SGH-T959 using XDA App
You can try a bin to iso converter.
is FF7 any good??

Emulator is probably your best bet. It should be a lightweight game so anything from SNES, GBA, and possibly PS1 should run perfectly.
Did you try Krakoid game already?

Best emulators from their category:
Nesoid - nintendo emulator (bt/wifi multiplayer option)
Snesoid - super nintendo emulator (bt/wifi multiplayer option)
N64oid - nintendo 64 emulator
Fpse - playstation emulator
Gameboid - gameboy advance emulator
Gensoid - sega genesis emulator (bt/wifi multiplayer option)
The better device u've got, the better chances for fluid multiplayer game because it requires more cpu power to emulate game and sync connection at the same time.

Gaming

Hey guys, I'm getting a tablet soon... I'm kinda confused with the Nexus 7 vs iPad Mini.... I'm really sorry that I had to make this thread because I really wanna confirm few things before choosing a tablet...
Can the Nexus 7 play high end games and :
- Modern Combat 4
- Modern Combat 3
- NOVA 3
- Shadowgun : Deadzone
The following games can be smoothly and lag-less?? Sorry guys, but anyone can help me I'm really happy...

Real Racing 3 lagless. Modern Combat 4 sometimes but not for too long.
I don't have mc4, but I can vouch for real racing 3 being smooth. Though on my nexus 7 nova 3 plays smooth also.

MC4's frame rate drops to a constant and then remains there form quite some time before speeding up again. It fluctuates. A lot.
Screw the market games. Emulators are the real reason for gaming on an Android tablet. Just get ePSXe and enjoy the plethora of amazing PSone games available. I'm playing through FFIX and Chrono Cross now.

Don't make your decision based on a game that will be deleted in a few months.
I would suggest making your decision based on the Os, not if one or two games lags.
Hell yea. Almost everyone console from the PlayStation 1 and Nintendo 64 down the the NES and Sega Master System is available and all work almost flawlessly. Try them out.

So, i also want to buy this device, and i was wondering cause there where a few people complaining about lag while navigatin in the menu and other things and had to factory reset to get the lag out, is that fixed already? and can i play all thd games smooth? like Horn, Ravensword, Dark meadow, glowball etc? is it easy to configure a ps3 or xbox 360 wireless controller without otg cable, i know it needs root. Oh and, do you guys think it will be able to play the newer Future games, without much lag? like deadtrigger 2, mc5, etc...
well if your this late to the nexus 7 game a new one is going to be announced soon
