INSTALL:
to install you just have to use adb to replace your current files with these ones (/system/framework/) then change the permissions to 644 (chmod 644 [location])
id suggest doing them one at a time and rebooting each time. start with lge-res, then services, then the other two. i know it takes longer but at least if something goes wrong youll know what file it is.
most of it is based off of this http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=952432. i changed some images and did a few other things to get it working with 2.2.2. ive tried it with LOL v1.4, lightv2, and nessy#c (it seems to be a little buggy on lightv2)
if you already have a power-menu you dont need to replace android.policy.jar as far as i know.

for megatron and void i used the GDD theme and flashed that (link is in first post), then i just replaced the framework-res with an altered one i put together for 2.2 (ill upload it later if you want)

when i fix the last problem im having (which ive been too lazy to get around to)
does android version 2.2.2 same as 2.2 ? or 2.2 is 2.2.2
it didn't work on Nessy#Fennice ROM ... i replaced files one by one and android.policy.jar file caused stuck on LG logo. also without using android.policy.jar after booting the phone multiple force closes occuered from programs such as clock, email and even shutdown!
does it work on void? love the theme

Works on the desire however you need to uninstall the other google news and weather app first (if you have that installed). Only problem is that the text is white and I have a white background...

sorry no adb setup for screenshotting, it only takes 2 secs to install, just make sure you uninstall the old one (if applic) first.

What's the best way to install this widget over the existing one? I've tried installing using estrongs file manager as mentioned earlier, but this won't work.
I'm using a 2.1 Rom with sense (pay87s ROM)
doesn't want to work (installed ok though) on OpenDesire 4.0.10 and up (an AOSP + Cyanogenmod ROM)

If you have time, would appreciate if you mod it to make the weather icon just sprightly bigger (like 2% bigger in size) when it shows next to the news flash. I mean when I put a widget and opt "News & Weather".

Numbers stay silver until you get low on juice, then they will turn red. The circle bar changes from blue-green-yellow-orange-red.

Thanks for this. I pushed it with root explorer, but before I did that I made a copy of the original and put it in a folder in the sd. Reboot and now I have super circle battery!
I pushed it in with root explorer. It seems like it works fine, much better then the stock one.
I does seem a little wierd that it goes counter clockwise.

No Google Talk? Can't download from the market either. That is a must have. I like the simplicity of it though. Issues with browser and search. Need to clean those up before i will use for long.
Try flashing the file added to the first post, it should add back Google Talk and the Search Box...
You can add some apps that missing or deleted.

the rom is dead. same with the other threads for this guy's roms that you bumped for no reason. do you have a reason to want 3.2 over 3.2.1? go with a rom thats supported by its dev, not a dead rom that hasnt been bumped in MONTHS.

Has anyone tried modern combat 3 on desire. cuz i have limited space left in my SD so it would be a waste to delect files than i see the game lags
I downloaded a cracked version of it, and it told me it wasn't compatible with my device (mind you im running ics).
it works well on oxygen 2.3.2

i just edited my build.prob and made them think its a HTC desire HD

I try all the ways, but worthless!!!! Spend 2 days trying to work, bought root explorer, and still nothing..... When i edit a build.prop, it says saved, but then i can t find it in system folder.... so i was thinking to do some changes in ICS rom.zip.... open a rom who is on my laptop and go to system and change there build.prop.... and then flashed again my ICS rom!!!! There it is, went to abote phone and it says Desire HD ))))))))
So i download a game and played... but then i try to open camera, torch,and some other app, but they didn t work...don t know why???? (((( Bad!!!!
So i flash again orginal ICS rom with org build rom, and the apps were fine, but MC3 didn t started(stuck at cheaking the licence)
Still i didn t know why i coludn t make changes in root explorer(set to R/W), and finally figure that out by rebooting my phone in recovery.... i saw that i have S-ON(safety ON).... that must be it....
There is a way to move it )))))
I m at work now, but when i get home, i ll try to make S-OFF and try again!!!

This is a job for Xposed!
Check out the "wisdomSky exploit" which will set color, clock fonts, etc., at run time. Might combine your mod with his.
One note relevant to both approaches. I use Xposed to reduce the height of the status bar so more (,smaller) items can be seen when opened. Android still reserves the whole height so the color, transparancy will apply to reduced height leaving a black bar underneath.
