I use Hyperdroid, currently running his CM 7 1.0.1 as I like the cyanogen full best. His other hyperdroid gbx v8 is a fantastic rom very clean light and fast. I don't like sense Rome your on your own there.

Hi Friends,
I am looking forward to install Android Froyo 2.2 build on my HD2.
But i have concerns about which HSPL,ROM and RADIO to use as per the current configuration of my phone.
I am using stock 1.66 WWE ROM
Radio ver is 2.06.51.07
Manila ver is 2.5
I have heard issues in flashing ROMS on radio with .51.
I don't want to brick my phone with a wrong ROM version!
Please advise the HSPL,ROM and RADIO that works for Android Froyo 2.2 customization.
Thanks!
Looking at your spec on your HD2 all is ok except you will need 2.12**** radio the offset of this is of course a hard HSPL. Look at the forum for flashing roms and hspl as you will have to first change your stock hspl and then flash the new radio. I run the standard WWE build 1.66.
Can you let me know the compatable ROMS with Radio 2.12 and if it should be HSPL2 or HSPL3?
Anyone with any pointers the query above? I am not able to find the relevant listing anywhere in forum
Can someone please let me know if HSPL2 or HSPL3 has to be used as per the configuration of my phone.
SPL in my phone is 1.42.0000
stock 1.66 WWE ROM
Radio ver is 2.06.51.07
Manila ver is 2.5
I am planning to move on to 2.12.50.02 Radio.
Please let me know which HSPL to use, if that makes a difference!
Bingo.....................!!
I have succesfully ported Android on the stock 1.66 WWE ROM.
Awesome to have it on my phone..i have been playing around with it since I did it...Kewl!!

Nice to hear, have fun. (i am sure you will) just in case there is a sticky wich explain step by step how installing android so I am not sure why you created this one...
My HD2 is as I got it from Best Buy and therefore has everything from stock
OS 5.2.21889
ROM 2.10.531.1 (82076) WWE
Radio 2.08.50.08_2
I would like to know if android build "darkstone HD2Froyo V3" would work on my HD2 or do i need a newer ROM and Radio. If so then which is recommended.
Thanks

It should work. The newer ROM/Radio is just for less bugs/better performance.
Radio 2.14.50.04 or 2.15.50.14 and Omega or Energy ROM's are pretty good.
Thanks, worked first time. still testing but so far no robotic voice, wifi works, camera is fine.
thanks again
Hey there...
a few days i updated to Artemis v40 rom... todo this i updateded first Stock RUU 3.14, with new SPL (because of Problemens with 3.14Based Roms when n ot using SPL 3.03) and also there comes a new Radio Version!
then i tried different Android Builds...
mdeejays Desire HD
MartyLK MIUIs
and mccm Miui Build
the interersting thing is that in the above two builds i have the RoboVoice issue...
But with mccms Build not!?
Why? What can i do now??
all 3 Builds are running on Hastrin r8 Kernel...
sofar i know the RoboVoice Problem depends on the Radio... but with SSPL you can't flash any Radio...
and i think theres no HSPL with SPL3.03 possible?
Greetings guys,
I have a HTC Magic 32A, right now running on the 6.35 Radio and would like to now what should be better: keep that radio or try the 3.22 radio with froyo roms. I don't know if there are such a straight choice, so sorry if it is a stupid doubt. But I just would like to use my divice as fast as it can be.
Today I'm using 6.35 Radio with the lattest RCMagic ROM and want to test the Froyo ROMs. This could be a better configuration?
Thank you,
The 6.35 radio is not compatible with the kernel used in custom Froyo roms for the HTC Magic.
So, if you want to use Froyo on the HTC Magic you'll need to flash the 3.22 radio.
Some say that new radio is better reception and ect.
In my experience, it's absolutely the same... so it's kinda up to you to chose what to use!

Better than downgrade, you just flash a cm 6.1 rom, then do not reboot Continue flash a port package for radio 6.35 !
thanks
Hi,
I decided to try the froyorider rom. The only problem is the camera.
But I can live that. The good thing are: 420 points at quadrant benchmark and more then 4k mflops.
Thank you,
currently running 3.14 official rom on my tmobile branded hd2.
what hspl version supports this Rom inorder to install win7 or android
thanks all
Use hspl4, and choose 2.08.hspl
thanks SamSamuel..much appreciated .
sry forgot to ask, what radio would be compatible?
Take a 2.12 or 2.15 version, sometimes you have to test yourself which one is best.
anything above 2.08.50 is fine (make sure it does not have a .51 in it).
Most people seem to like 2.12.50, 2.14.50, or 2.15.50
