This is from Facebook. Motorola XOOM users on the Verizon Wireless network: starting tonight, a maintenance release is rolling out to you in phases, so watch for a notification on your device that will tell you when it’s ready for download. The update includes required enhancements to support Adobe® Flash® Player 10.2 (coming soon); it also includes a fix for a bug we identified with Daylight Savings time, so be sure to install it!

Data connection, no matter WiFi or 3G.
WiFi should be fine.

Hey guys,
Not sure if everyone has seen the news, but one of the Galaxy SIII's signature features (not a big deal, nor something I even care about, IMHO) S Voice has been leaked.
You can install it now if you're running rooted ICS, see http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?p=26300180#post26300180
I've been running it for a few hours now, been working decently. Not that I'll ever use it, but pretty cool too see.
Note: It's just a skinned vlingo as far as I can tell...
Good find, but shouldn't this be in the Apps section?

Whoops! I had no idea we had an Apps section - my bad for the double post!
I am notifying you others because it did not auto update, I had to manually update it after pulling the app up in the market. It looks a lot like the Google plus app now.

Yep. New Youtube, New Maps as well. They pushed out a few updates with their apps after their I/O event today.
Indeed I noticed the whole Google suite updated, I looked because I was on the laptop YouTube looking at the nexus 7.

im diggin the new Youplus is kind of nice :fingers-crossed:
It looks nice and all, but I can't seem to find a way to view the "Most Viewed" for the day/week, etc. Is there any way to do that?
Looks great. I love the preloading option. YouTube had been so slow for me lately.

No need to wait haha! Unless your waiting for custom device support for unsupported devices. Kind of like how the shift is not supported on the jellybean branch right now. Gingerbread is good to go!

Always updating this tool. Decided that the next release isn't going to be themed. Trying to keep the application as lean as possible. Also adding in run options instead of just static buttons. This way you can clobber, sync, then build in one command.

i am stuck at the device selection button. when i click it it doesnt respond so i opened with terminal and got this when i click device button
[email protected]:~/android$ cmcompiler

I just wanted to know how Google uses the Wi-Fi optimization to save battery. I ticked the box to save battery.

My guess is that they are setting Wi-Fi to scan less often for available networks. Devs have been making that tweak fire a long time.

Yes
Are you sure? I googled this and so far the conclusion seems to point that it disable Wi-Fi connection and only wake up periodically. This breaks apps that requires constant data connection, like Google voice.
I've just received notification of new apps and update of the weather widget.
Is the patch coming too?

Had updated those the first day i saw them . Meh. At least i know they updated it !
For the weather widget, it fixes the battery drain issue when you set it to use your location. That's all. Don't know what's up with the others because I don't use them.
I find that the Sony widgets are the cause of most of the ui lag and stutters so I use only weather, music, track I'd, and tools. The weather widget causes lag, don't notice lag anywhere else apart from sweeping either side of the screen that holds that widget. I still use it though lol
