Hi all,
I'm trying to configurate a Samsung Galaxy Tab of Verizon to work with another carrier, but when QPST writes the paramenters of connection, my parameters are change by another parameters of Verizon.
Is there a solution for these problem? I have been searching a solution since November 2010. Please help me. Thanks in advance.
Who is your carrier and do they provide via CDMA?

probably cricket
I think cricket will do it for you on some devices.
Mi carrier is IUSACELL in Mexico. When the GT restars, overwrite the IUSACELL parameter by another of Verizon. The GT is no damaged, this has hapend in two devices.
Please, please, ..., help me.

Wasn't sure where to post this as there wasn't an option for Cricket S4. I am however trying to switch this to Bell so i thought this may be best.
Hello folks, I recently purchased a Samsung S4 from Cricket Wireless. I need to unlock this unit to work on Bell Canada which runs CDMA and GSM technologies. After alot of discussion with Cricket they did end up giving me a 8 digit unlock code. The problem is it runs on CDMA and when I take the Cricket sim out to install the Bell sim it doesn't give me the option to enter an unlock code. I did the dialer option and that didn't work either. All the phone says is invalid sim.Thank you all in advance.
Any luck unlocking S4
HI, I know its been a while since you posted this thread but I just came across it. I am trying to get a Cricket S4 onto the bell network and need to unlock it. Did you ever have any luck unlocking yours? I would greatly appreciate it if you have any advice for me. Thank you very much.
I just got my new S5 from a local carrier called Appalachian Wireless and the model is SM-G900R6 (CDMA), If anyone can help me with a root method for it I would greatly appreciate it..

Yours should be a variant of Verizon/US Cellular.
You'll need to request a test build of CF Auto Root for it. You can in this thread.
When you make the request just mention requesting for SM-G900R6, close relative to SM-G900R4. Should hopefully speed up the process.
And for reference, your closest variant is Verizon.
Thx for the advice & help..
Hello all, can someone try and point me in the right direction. I bought a telcel sim card to use with my verzion note 3, by it wont call nor will texting work. I have tried the APN on the telcel website and set it to global for my setting. Any help will be appreciated

Sorry for not answering your question. How did you convert your device to G935F?

hi:
I converted the phone by flashing a special ROM then I rooted the phone, then there was a special file which worked on converting the phone from V to F.
Could you describe your steps and provide download links?
Not really possible considering the 935F uses a entirely different chipset, the G935V uses Snapdragon 820 and the G935F uses a Exynos 8890, that would never work. Perhaps you are thinking of the G935U firmware?

do ya have the links where can download special ROM
G935V to G935U
I would like to know if this can be done on my Verizon Galaxy S7 Edge G935V (Android 8.0) except
I want to convert it to the G935U to be more compatible with AT&T.
I read somewhere the hardware is the same for all U.S. versions of the S7 Edge, regardless of Verizon, AT&T, etc.
I have the phone working on Straight Talk using their AT&T sim.
Changed it from CDMA to GSM and added the APN info for Straight Talk.
The phone works but is missing LTE band 17, the one used in my area.
It uses another tower but the signal is really weak. Band 17 is really popular
LTE and in my area and the phone is sort of crippled without it.
I have read the G935U firmware for AT&T solves that problem. I am
assuming the phone would be unlocked too after flashing.
The phone currently is unlocked on the GSM side.
I have downloaded ODIN, Samsung S7 Edge drivers, and the G935U for AT&T w/ Android 8.0
Any tips or pointers would be appreciated.
Thanks, Ken

You need to contact verizon support and make them to explain what is the problem exactly, ask for supervisor if needed. "There is an error" is not an acceptable answer.
Probably they need to whitelist your IMEI somewhere b/c it's not from verizon or unlocked phone originally - I'm just guessing here.

Verizon uses CDMA, Sprint uses CDMA but both of them are on different CDMA network, uses different hardware for it so in your case it wont help.
