Currently on SC 2.8 eb16 nonvoodoo. Ever since 2.6 sms has been hit or miss with people not recieving my texts until I restart my phone. This keeps happenning and is very annoying. Any one else having this issue?

On dj05, geeknik kernel and blackhole ROM.
Problem started after flashing dj05.
When I send a picture message, in either handcent or the stock messaging app, the phone just spins its wheels, and sits at sending. Doesn't ever actually send the.picture. I can receive pictures just fine. Any ideas what the problem could be?

Did you put on a different DNS server than stock?

Try going back in and changing it to stock, or verizon(which ever option it is).
Flashed the stock DNS settings, that didn't seem to fix it.

I had the same problem but I odin'd back to stock and reflashed Nero v.5. Now it works fine

All of a sudden, I can't send a text to anyone on another carrier except Verizon. They all seem to send fine but nobody receives them. I can receive them from anyone though. For the love of God, help me!!

Haha na jk. Go to messaging settings and check mark the delivery report to find out if there recieving them. Also reboot your phone

Are you stock? What is your setup. Are you using a third party testing app? A little more info would be good.

I'm rooted, on froyo. 340, tried stock message app, Handcent, go sms and Youlu. It does seem that Youlu works sometime whereas all the others never work. All work for texts to Verizon customers. And I do receive all texts from all carriers.

SOLVED....... don't use a signature on your texts, it makes it a enhanced text and not all carriers can handle it.

I had this issue on froyo after I removed/disabled some system apps but I can't recall which one was responsible. Have you removed anything? You may just want to reinstall
