I'm new to Android, but after some very brief research it appears that there are websites that will do it by submitting your IMEI to official servers to get an official unlock but no one has come up with a solution?
A friend has just got a Wildfire and I'm surprised it can't be unlocked - if anyone is working on it and wants some help, let me know. What's the problem? I'm not used to not being able to unlock!
I know very little.
But I do know some very clever people - who are probably not interested.
If I'm wrong, please point me in the direction of the solution.

I know a bit about WinMo and Apple iOS - maybe it's time I started learning about Android....

Hello everybody. I'd like to know if any of you know where I could get a serial number (even if you can tell me where I can buy one) for mobidial v2.5 beta 3.
I have mobidial 2.02 and tried the v2.5 for 2 weeks, but it won't work anymore now because the trial period is over.

So please can someone help me, I would appreciate it really much because this version brings a lot of fabulous things to this phone application.
If nobody can tell me where to purshase a license number (but I think it s not possible anymore) or where to get one, I d like to know if anybody know how to stop the trial period in this software? Is there any way to do it? (registry? editing something?) because I can t find any crack for this version (2.5 beta 3). If any programmer/developper can do something for this, just ask and I ll post the software here.
I am really sorry to be asking for something like this, but as the developper of mobidial doesn t give any feedback since almost one year, I don t believe there is any chance to buy it anymore ;(
Please I really enjoy this version of the program, would be a miracle if I could get it without time limitation ;(

First of all, I'm Software developer, where I'm working to make an automation for production in my company...
I need some software to read the IMEI and if is possible another informations from HTC phones....but the more important information is read the IMEI numbers, to store in our data-base to control the production !
If any know how to do / where have some software... let-me know !

Everyone here would love to help you out if you are able to start SIM Unlocking our phones.... so whatever we can help you out with, let us know.
I am not aware of any software that does what you're looking for, but I suggest you look up people in the Kaiser forum who have managed to SIM Unlock their phones in here as well as other phone forums have managed the same.
They may be able to give you the best guidance.
i dont know about software but *#06# tells it to you. tmobile has you do that to give it to them when you ask to unlock your phone. also if anyone needs unlock codes to help with the algorithms i have mine still, but will not post the ieme.
We should organize and find a way to Sim unlock these phones ...
I wonder what we would need ... if we can all get together, but one and send it to Pof or olipro or something... and get them to unlock it... or if we can dump the software off of it for them to look at.. any one have any ideas?

First off welcome. Your phone can do alot of things. You need to do some research before anyone will really help you. There is alot of stuff on here and on ppcgeeks. Just do a google search of ppc and you will get there. your phone is called the touch or sometimes called vogue. if you want to release the phone you need to get an unlocker and then flash a custom ROM. I have never done it but it seems easy. just be careful to read read read before you do it cause it can brick your phone. there are lots of fun aps that work with your phones oem rom. just look around and play with it. your phone has gps but verizon has it locked down for now so you will need to unlock to get gps. your phone does not have wifi.

Let me get this straight;
You have a hacked/rooted G1, and you want to know how to remove the jailbreak to get back to the original locked firmware?
Or if you just want to (to use the Apple term) 'jailbreak' it, first try asking yourself if you truly understand what it is you are wanting to accomplish by doing this.
Then try reading the forums a bit more to see how to gain root access, if that is indeed what your oddly worded query was meant to be

I wasn't the one to jailbreak. Some one I know told me that by doing that I would be able to change the icons on my phone and do a lot more. But by doing that I can't get any updates. That's why I want my phone locked again. Is there any way to do that? Help me!!
im pretty sure you could just flash the original rc33
but as for receiving updates....we get them here and mod them before they are release in most areas..

Okay, I have noticed that in a lot of these forums people have asked for help on how to Flash, load a new ROM, etc on to their phones. Yet I have not seen any responses back to any of these posts. So, I am asking for help on this. I have no clue on how to do any of this, and when there are directions, I am not sure what a lot of it means. Im military give me a break. haha.
My dilemma is: I have just bought a HTC HD mini in Asia where I am at, obviously you all know that the language is proprietary to the country (IE China). Mine is in Chinese. I can Speak some Chinese, but damn I cannot read it. As ya'll know HTC support sux and they just tell you sorry for the inconvenience have a great day!
All I want to do is load a English ROM onto this phone so I can use it. I dont care about the warranty, or losing loaded software already on the device.
I dont want to have to take it back and be with out a phone while I am here.
Can someone please help me out?
Also, another thing that sux, I have a MAC. So, work arounds on how to get these cabs etc to load into my phone via this OS, would be great. (yes, I can load Windows on here, but I cannot download it form the net cuz if IP address and if bought at a store here, they are also in Chinese).
Any help is much appreciated.
