Has anyone seen/made/found the Liberty Boot Animation as a Live Wallpaper?? I'm referring to the spinning bird.
Not sure if it exists. I searched for it but couldn't find it. Please forgive if I missed it.
I love Liberty 1.5 and everyone else is blown away with how fast it is.

I've looked up this question and couldn't find any post on it, which makes me think I'm doing something wrong. I've been putting roms on my mt3g for a while now, and have noticed a lot of times I'm in an app and when I hit the home button it shows me the HTC logo screen (like its resetting) and then it takes a bit to load my home screen. Is this normal for these roms? or am I doing something wrong? I'm running evil hero 2.xx, one click root,
Thanks in advance..

I have a branded HTC one and when is loading the Sense UI is after I close on the manager, it does the same when loading!
I experienced the same with the evil 2xx ROM. Except for some other lag issues, it was a damn near perfect ROM (at least for my needs). That "loading" screen would sit there for at least a minute despite my killing all tasks and using the swapper. It got annoying after a few hours so now I'm yet again exploring other HERO ROMs that can work without the blurry screen and not give me that long HTC loading screen.
MOD EDIT
Thread moved to general discussion as not related to rom development
I'm running evil hero 2.xx on my MT3G with no problems. It uses a 96MB swap partition with 40 swappiness.
so i guess i must be doing something wrong then... thanks for you replies it let me know this isn't right, i'll try to mess with the swap, thanks again
just an update....got rid of the twitter widget, and Redid the the swap, and it runs a lot better, haven't had the problem since, not sure which thing did the trick,
I'm currently running the Skyraider 2.5.2 Sense rom, and as of this morning I've finally had the opportunity to use my alarm clock since upgrading from Stock 2.1 to Skyraider.
To my dismay I couldn't actually stop the alarm clock from continuing to beep. The only modification to the rom that I've made was to remove the "HTClockscreen.apk" because I like the look and feel of its Vanilla counter-part much more. Does anyone have any thoughts on the matter??
You need to install another alarm clock app. I installed the stock android desk clock. Do a search for deskclock.apk. I'm sure it's around here somewhere. If you don't find it, I'll upload it later.

I'll give it a shot here in a minute. Digging up the link as we speak.
Worked just fine. There are a couple of threads around that have the .apk available. You're a lifesaver.

The persoon who rooted your phone may have also used the clock removal mod. Searchh the forums for this, as i know it can be reversed, just dont remember the exact steps without reverting to a backup that still has the clock.

Hey XDA, I just installed ERA Hurricane 1.6 from this link "http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1244212"
and cant change the wallpaper. Any Ideas?
You are better off posting in that thread.
He doesn't have enough posts to do that.
I had no problem. I restored my wallpaper through Titanium right after install and can change it without issue. What happens when you try to change it? Just thought of something, I am using Zeam launcher. Maybe the Go Launcher is the problem.
Does anyone know how to flash the CRT animation to the Toshiba thrive? Love the way it looks on my Droid X think it would look equally great on the thrive. Thanks in advance for any help!
If you are rooted, you need it named bootanimation.zip and copy over the one in /system/media directory. Be sure to make a backup of the original file. If you are not rooted, you cannot change the boot animation. Or at least you need ClockWorkMod loaded to do so.
Let me clarify, not the boot animation but the animation when you press the power button to put it to sleep. Want to look like an old tv set shutting off. Also, thanks so much you for all your work and time on the thrive Dale!
Oh, sorry, I am not sure about adding an animation for that. Sorry about that.
Bump......
Im still looking for help with this. If anyone could assist I would be extremely greatful.
Have you seen it done on a honeycomb tablet? I don't think you can do that. Don't quote me though.

That's the closest thing but it's app enabled.
What do you mean it is app enabled? This looked good to me but I don't know what he did.........
