Android Marketplace for A7

Hello all,
I really want to get this installed by way of Dexter's Mod...but I am not well versed in this sort of thing. In fact, I know next to nothing about computers.
But I believe I know enough to go through the simple steps outlined in all the posts on this forum...problem is the Mod file appears to be damaged or something everytime I try to save it to my computer. I've ran tests on the file and it looks like something is wrong. Could someone provide a little insight on what I might be doing wrong??? Is there something wrong with the downloads on this site?

I thinks the file is damaged and I would suggest sending another thread since noone bothered to answer this one. I am pretty savvy and I have had elocity about two weeks and cant get to load dex rom or mod. I would suggest trying another link or seeking advice elsewhere!! good luck!!! Even I have had no luck yet!!

You do realize this post is from January? And the link works fine for me from Dexter's OP, you are downloading elocity mod 1.41 correct, if you still have no luck downloading it I'll repost the zip

Check contents...
Some of the updates need to be extracted before renaming and loading. Be sure to have a look with a zip utility of some kind, if you see a text file and another zip in the file you downladed...extract then proceed.

Sorry it Took So Long i been busy with the evo and the new synergy rom, but the zip is attached, hope that helps, PM me and questioned should be answered quickly

[Q] 1.3 Bt mod is unaccessable

hi, a total newbie...i have several stupid questions...first i performed the elocity fw update, then ran the 1.3 mod...thank god for dexter...everything works great except the bluetooth. I tried to click on the URL and download it, but the server seems to be down and eventually downloads an empty file. does anyone have a mirror so i can download and run this final fix? And super duper thanks to dexter for making this a very useful device

after a weeklong search, i was able to find the update on a mirroe...I now have bt and no issues ...quadrant around 2750....thanks to dexter for some well thought out mods

[Q] Adhoc-fix.zip

Would anyone have a copy of the adhoc-fix.zip that used to be on Dexter's site? From what I have researched on the forum threads, I need to install this after Dexter's mod 1.3 to tether through my Droid with Barnacle.
If I am going down the wrong path, please feel free to elaborate.

A great big thanks to ninetoes49 for the link to the adhoc-fix.zip file. This did the trick to create an open tether to Baracle. I would really like to thank Dexter as well for all the great work he has done on the mods. I have seen mention of donating to Dexter for his efforts. How might I go about doing that?

Problems with AOKP ROM for Acer A500

I recently flashed AOKP Milestone 4 to my Acer Iconia A500 Tab. I had problems with the power button rebooting instead of sleeping. This was fixed by disabling crt animations.
When I plug it into my PC, the driver is not found. I tried downloading and re-installing the driver, but no luck. It worked fine before I flashed the ROM.
Any help is much appreciated!

You should probably post your issues at the Warez site where you downloaded the rom.
With concern to your issue, it's because that portion of the rom doesn't work. Mainly because they (Kang) can't figure it out. It's what happens when you cut and paste other developers code, claiming it as your own.
At best, you can get Google's ADB driver package and communicate with the tab via adb.
But hey, at least their added "donations" menu in the Settings works! Probably the only thing that does

Well, seems I gave you the answer already, and you're being so rude, then you may find your answers somewhere else. Or you can report me to the Mods, and explain why you can't get better help on Warez.
Like I said earlier, your best is with ADB device drivers. But suppose you didn't read that part?
On a side note, I have no issue with Thor, and get along with him quite well.

The solution is simple, use a proven quality ROM rather than one "kanged" from other developers that has several known serious problems.

[Q] How Can I make VPN function work on Barebone CM7 rom (SD)

Hi,
so far as I tested some SD and Native SD roms on my phone, Barebone CM7 was the best in terms of speed, respond time and bing clear. so much thanks to Rick_1995 for the great rom an Learning Never Ends Team for porting the rom.
But my problem is that I can't make VPN connection work. I know that Rick mentioned he removed VPN in this rom but because of my work I neet to use it.
I want to know what files I shoud add to the system beside VpnServices.apk that should be in "app" folder and which rom you suggest I get those files from.

Thanks for your suggestion, but it didn't work. acctualy I think there is some other files that I should add to this rom. Do you know what files are needed to make vpn works?

thanks for your consideration, but it didn't work either. I tried dorimanx v7.3 and my phone stucked in boot loops. I also tried tytung r16. phone booted normaly and worked great, but VPN didn't work.
Any other suggestions?

Thank you very much. it worked. but unfortunatly its for open vpn accounts. I need to use L2TP account for my work. so I need to use VPN Service. I also used "1VPN" program from market, but it didn't work either.
