Can anyone PLEASE give me step by step directions on how to upgrade my phone to Windows Mobile 6.0?
If so, can you please give me steps on how to unlock the phone? I'm in dire need of help and I don't want to mess the phone up.

Well, that's like stepping into the library and asking someone to grab you a book and read it to you.
You've got a great phone with a lot of capabilities that you should learn, if you want to upgrade it. Don't be lazy and ask others to hold your hand and supply you with step by step instructions. Those instructions are all over the forums already.

The first place to start is the wiki.
Then visit here to learn how to unlock and upgrade. (that's for G3 Wizards, you'll learn more about this when you read the wiki).
Finally, just check out the WM6 forum here. You can find instructions and links for all the different "cooked" versions of WM6 available.
Good luck and take your time. Don't jump into this head first, or you might end up with a really expensive paperweight.

Alright, I found out that I have a G4 series of the Cingular 8125. You guys gotta work with me here because I'm AFRAID to "Brick" my phone.
So can anyone give me STEP BY STEP Directions on Upgrading to WM6 and putting the iPhone Emulator on the phone.

You have to READ and figure it out yourself.. first with a G4 you have to unlock it... there is a thread in the Wizard forum that will walk you through that, then you have to read even more.. hence my friends

I have a G4 8125 and was the same way as you, wanting someone to walk me through it, then I started READING and ANALYZING and actually doing some of the legwork.. and now I have everything I want working great.. it's not hard to do..

In the Wizard Mobile 6 forum there is a tutorial that shows you how to upgrade to Windows Mobile 6. Not suprisingly this vital piece of information is also a sticky in that thread. I suggest you read that thread and the wiki before you think about flashing your phone, otherwise you will brick your phone.

I was wondering what steps I should ensure to take to make sure that I dont turn it into a brick, I could do with a complete guide! I've also been told that i'll need to run the Artermus USPL program after connecting the phone. But any help and advice would be a great help. Is there anyway to backup the phone in the state it is at present if or if it doesnt go wrong?

Hello guys!I bought a htc hd2 phone here in germany without any branding,only to find out that one could not change the language to English.After making a lot of research online i Found out that all windows mobile phones are specific to the countries where one buys them
So guys i honestly need your help.I am hoping that someone here could tell me please what steps i should follow to
1) flash my rom on the htc hd2.
2) which ROM should i use (that has english?)
3)and what precautions i should take
