Would anyone like to chime in about rumored first OTA update for the Atrix? Will webtop improvements be updated through OTA firmware upgrades?
Also, how soon has Motorola issued updates for their phones in the past? At&T?
It pushed to my phone last night (3/30/2011) but I'd like to know what it plans to do before I tell it to run.

anyone heard of this? i was trying to update mine to 1.47.651.1 but it shows there is no update, but i still have the old version. looked around online and found this
has anyone else heard of this?
Old news. Sprint re-released the update.
how can i get the update? phone shows no update available. is it an OTA only? or can i DL it and then apply it? would you happen to have the version number?
lol, you have the most recent update already
Can someone who has the US 3.2 update post it for manual update?
I'm just surprised that there is not already a US version avaible for manual update, the android community usually has the update snagged before the manufactures start the major OTA (example: the DROID line).
You can get Acer_A500_7.006.01_COM_GEN2 here or there
What is it? How does it differ from OK1?
Monthly security updates?
Nope,.. has the same date from 2015 which is odd because that's the reason I went through all the trouble of un rooting for the OTA. Even the Android version is the same as well.
speaking of security updates, anyway to update that manually if samsung is too lazy to push it out?
If it's a carrier specific phone then you can't do anything until they release their version of the update.
Their version meaning: Samsung has to release an update, then the carrier takes it and adds their own apps and bloat, test it (prohably) and then release it.
I just bought an unlocked AT&T Galaxy S7 to use on another carrier. Because I'm not on AT&T, I don't get OTA updates. I sideloaded the QA6 update which brought the device up to Android 7.0. However, I noticed there are like 8 OTA updates that at&t pushed out. I would like to be able to get onto the latest update which was released a couple weeks back, but the idea of sideloading that many updates is discouraging. Are there some updates I can skip? Thank you.

Does anyone know what's new in N910VVRU2CTI1? (the latest OTA the Verizon pushed on Dec2020)
what was updated? and any details?
Verizon says that it "improves the performance of your device." .. does it? and how?
Probably security
I'm curious about it too. Couldn't believe there was an actual update of any kind for Verizon note 4. Probably just a security update as person above mentioned. Have I noticed better performance? Maybe?
