I would love for it to work but I have a feeling the Sling AP would not work with the new AU.
But... you could go to slingbox.com and sign into your sling player that way and watch with no problem I would assume. I will find out tomorrow.
thanks, I have the same feeling. Slingbox.com will probably work, but not until Xoom gets Flash support.
I doubt slingbox.com would work...you need to install a browser plugin, its not just flash only.
Wouldn't the app work in "stretched" mode?
I'm sure theyll come out with one eventually, im just hoping its a scaleable update to the current one.
I have to hope they don't really expect me to shell out another $30 for a tablet version of the mobile one I already have.

Oh yea, you are correct about the plugin... I completely forgot about that. ha!
Well, hopefully they come out with an ap for Honeycomb, I can't imagine they wouldn't. Hopefully sooner than later.
Slingplayer works but the video quality is not great (not optimized for the large display), but it does work.
Yea I completely forgot about the plugin. Slingplayer would be the app I used most on a tablet. The Droid Streamer Pro app is a good alternative, but i doubt the current version of that will work on honeycomb either.
Thank you. Good to know that at least it works somewhat. I can live with it not being as sharp as it is on a phone as long as its watchable until they update the app for Honeycomb
Hello Everyone,
I purchased the N64oid Emulator and thought I would let any forum members that it works well on my Xoom. I even am able to play Super Mario 64 on my Droid 1 without problems. This emulator does cost money and so many of you might hesitate to purchase but I just wanted to let you know it works well on the Xoom and so far Super Mario 64, Starfox and Zelda are running great and I think it was well worth the money.
I made a video if you want to see it in action. Why pay if its not for you so check out my video and feel free to ask me if certain roms work or if you want me to make a particular video to see how certain roms play on the Xoom http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KtdQXIcH6gY
Mario 64 runs great on the Xoom but Ocarina ran pretty slow, though I only tried it on the first version, they've updated the application a lot since then... well worth the money.
OoT always seems to freeze for me on pressing start, any ideas why?
Im on the latest version of N64oid, using my Xoom.
Sent from my Xoom using XDA Premium App
Edit: Majora's Mask seems to work just fine though. Pause and all. At least I got one portable Zelda.
Nice video. Thanks.
Question:
How does the wii remote connect to the xoom?
Mario Kart works really well also.

I use a free app called WiimoteController. Works well on the Xoom. There is a couple hitches getting it to work and I am putting together a video on showing exactly how to set it up and get it working with an emulator. Will be posting it in a bit.

I like using the Wii Classic Controller Pro with my emulators on my Xoom. It's got the combination and feel of all the classic gaming consoles built into one controller. Since it was originally meant for the Nintendo Virtual Console on the Wii, it is great to use with the N64 games as it was a part of the VC lineup. I personally have been using this method on my Androids for well over a year now, but it's great to remind others who had no idea this existed in this first place. Good job man.
I just sold my wii and all controllers argh! would love to use it with some n64 games
Dont forget GoldenEye
It still gets the " hey can you get that for iPhone?" Followed shortly by a disappointed "awww"

Weird, it's the opposite for me, OoT works perfectly, Majora freezes after I push Start the first time.
Anyone tried it with multiplayer yet? Can you connect 2 Wii Remote to it and play multiplayer Mario Kart?
Where can I buy the Wii classic controller?

Good and Bad news. The app to connect the WiiMotes to your android device supports multiple Wii Motes / Wii Classic . However the N64oid does not support multiplayer yet, well it might never, but I'm been pretty happy with what the all the apps the creator of N64oid, he even frequents this forum, so perhaps he will give us an answer if it will make its way to his N64oid app.

Any major video game vendor should sell this. Here is a link to give you an idea what it looks like.
http://www.bestbuy.com/site/Nintend...988885&skuId=9853244&st=wii classic&cp=1&lp=7
Please note however that you still need the original Wiimote to be able to hook it to your Android device through bluetooth.
Thanks

Droid-life.com says they have a video skype apk for android. I have tried it on the xoom and the captivate without success. Anyone get it working on any android device?
http://www.droid-life.com/2011/04/11/download-skype-with-video-on-android/
I realize the person writing the post said they couldn't get it to work on the xoom or their phone, but just wondering what the Thunderbolt would have that would allow it to work......
Sorry if this should go in the Apps forum, but since it isn't really a legitimate app from the app market, I listed it in General. Mods, please move if you so desire.

So are you rooted? If yes, which rom are you using?
I remember seeing a pic or video of someone playing a game on their phone using the wii controller...might have been in one of the rom threads...some people have had success with it though...
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1002563&highlight=wiimote
Your success may depend on what rom you are using...
I got the wiimote connected using cyanogen mod it let me config he buttons in nesoid but it didnt work in game
Does anyone have smartglass working on there evo's. I see it requires 4.0 and up in order to install. I was looking for a rom that would give me access to run it so if you do have it working could you share what rom you are using please and thank you.
Works great on cm10...I'm loving it and the ROM...

I've got it working on MazWoz-EVO-B6 ics. You won't be able to get SmartGlass from the Play Store so you'll need the non-phone specific apk. Search the xda forums for rjtoudouze smartglass apk. Sorry I can't link to it <--- new guy here
I have it working on Mazwoz Jellybean as well.
I have it working on MazWoz-EVO JB 4.1.2 too. Everything seems to be working fine and haven't had any issues or lag. Not too much to do with the app yet, but it's pretty cool to move through the dashboard with the phone. Would be really nice to messaging people because I hate typing on the controller. Pretty interested to see how developers take control of these features as well.
