The difference seems to be obvious. Because .bin file is not encrypted, TG01 bootloader does not waste any time for decryption process. It allows us to suspect that flashing procedure will be faster and collegue Nokser mentioned about it.
It takes 1-2 minutes as He said.
And as I always say, why people use 3-pin method having more covenient and safe way by sdll+.exe ? Only not bootable roms should be flashed 3-pin method.
People like to play with electrostatic shock.

Ok. Now it´s done .....
Rom is available.
Until now there are a few linitations with this ROM:
1.) Bootimage are not adjustable. Needs more investigations
2.) Flashing is only via EXE-File possible, because this ROMs are little bit bigger than the normal an xdatools checks the filesize.....
3.) Part of ROm that was reserved for backup is used in this ROM, so those data will be destroyed while flashing.....
ROM is available without any additional Programs (Download the Attachement) and also already included in the kitchen (http://lumpistefan.dyndns.org/).
I cannot gurantee, that all is working fine. So flashing is on your own risc....
Also it would be great if some nice guys donate for the xda-developers or for me. Link ares available here and on my kitchen....
If you have any problems, please use this thread, PM to me or Email....
Have fun with the new ROM...
Stefan

I think it does not (i repeat, i THINK). The sd-erase bug was a bug in Windows CE 4.2 (WM2003 based on that), and there were a patch that correct that bug (if you have the WCE4.2 source of course ), so WM2003SE should be patched.

There are 2 possibilities:
1.) Wrong device. This only works with Wallaby devices (XDA I / MDA I / ... )
2.) You have rom that prohibits flashing via exe (e.g. 4.01.16) Than you have to downgrade first via SD-card (e.g. Special Edition ROM) and then upgrade to WM2003SE
HTH
Stefan
As I remember I flashed my device with this ROM long time ago, Lumpistefan you finnaly sort it out to let it work GOOD WORK!!!!
were can i gt the patch
im trying to upgrade i dont have the patch yet sd eraser.
Hi,
I had rom 4.01 and had to downgrade to 3.17 with SD to be able to upgrade to 2003SE, i did that but now it hangs at boot screen and the problem is that i dont have a card reader and even can not sync, how can i make another image on SD or any other solution?pls
Thanks
Hi guys.
I just upgraded my O2 HD2 to an official ROM by using this method WITHOUT goldcard:
http://www.handy-faq.de/forum/htc_h...d2_sspl_verfuegbar_flashen_ohne_goldcard.html
Its written in German, here is what you need to do:
Unrar your favorite ROM and rename (if it isnt allready) the .nbh file to "RUU_signed.nbh"
Unrar the attachment SSPL_RUU.zip and copy your RUU_signed.nbh in the same folder.
Now just flash as usual Make sure you watch your HD2 screen and allow any file to run.
It worked for me.
UPDATE: Didnt saw that this file is from bepe. Look here for the thread http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=606713
Thanks and sorry bepe.

You can also just follow the guide for flashing with SSPL here, at this very forum. Will flash both signed and unsigned ROMs.
I wonder if that starbase 64 guy created his own SSPL, or is using bepe's without giving proper credit. If you're registered at that forum, perhaps you can compare the two?
Wow
The two files are the same.. So that starbase guy used it without thanking I think. You can compare this by yourself, just download the attachment from below! Heck.. I am sorry I gave the wrong person credit.
Sorry that I didnt saw the other thread! I searched, but Ive found nothing. I think he should mention "without goldcard" or something in his thread title..

No worries!
Actually, I think bepe's thread doesn't mention you can also flash official ROMs with the SSPL explicitly either. That might be worth mentioning, especially since I believe the free goldcard offer ended on the 27th.
As far as I understand the flashing procedure with sspl, you can flash the OS only but not HSPL or Radio even if you are using a "official" HTC Rom - sspl is just ignoring radio and hspl part.
Depending what you would like to do this is ok or it is a limitation.
Best regards,
dingolino
not working for me
Uhm, what do I miss now? HSPL, is this the posibility to flash homecooked stuff? And whats up with the radio? Doesnt it work normal with this method of flashing? thanks
At the moment all functions seem to be normal (cant test the radio yet, no headset) The method worked really well!
>Edit Seems like the radio is complete missing ^^ I dindnt realised this at first... Is there any .cab to get it back?..

Are you taking the piss?
1. Make sure your microSD is Formatted to fat32 (you dont have to delete all files but it is safer if you do)
2. Download your prefered Rom from the LEO Rom Develpoment Page and unzip/unrar it to your PC
3. Goto the Roms Folder and rename the .nbh file to LEOIMG.nbh
4. Copy the LEOIMG.nbh file to the root of your MicroSD Card
5. Plug the MicroSD Card into the phone
6. Reset the device while pressing the volume down button to enter the BootLoader screen, you will first see a tri-color screen with the phone and SPL Information at the top
7. Follow the On Screen instructions to start the update
8. After flash has completed, press the reset button with the stylus to reset the device.

Any body know a noobish way to convert cwr zip's to a SD (boot from haret/WM) ?
Thank's in advance !
There is no noobish way to do that...
You know an other way you can share maybe?
I am 100% sure it cannot be done easily, never heard of a method to convert it anyway. I am not a chef, but I guess you have to cook it separately, just ask the chef of a ROM you'd liked to have in a NAND form, and maybe (but probably not) he will cook a nand version.
Its just that i wanna change the clockwork file's to a SD build.
If i extract the cwr zip file ,i have no system.ext file ,its a system folder.
Haret is missing to ..

thats why a few posts up it was saiud no easy method of doing it
unfortunately if it was as simple as 1 click then everyone would be making their own roms
The fact that it was said that there is no easy method is sufficient to get our developers going -- they will create such a solution, since it would be considered a challenge.
This is XDA after all.

You need to revert back to orginal... HSPL is a hack and your warranty is void.
Do this
Extract with winrar or 7z the RUU_Leo_HTC_NLD_1.48.404.2_Radio_Signed_15.28.50.0 7u_2.05.51.05_2_Ship.exe
find the larger *.nbh file and rename it to leoimg.nbh
copy it to your SDcard and reboot to bootloader (the one with 4 colors)
folow then instructions from there
That way you will have your original software with SPL restored and ready to send it for repear
No need for PC drivers etc.
